I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).
I bought this when looking for a substitute for MSFN. It looks pretty good, but is not as finely milled. I am pretty certain this is discontinued too : (

Love this stuff! Definitley my favourite powder yet! It suits my skin really nicely. I apply this with a sponge. I also love that is has a mirror on the other side. I can't really compare this to many high - end cosmetic brands as I haven't really tried cosmetics by Mac or Chanel, mainly because in my country, even a L'oreal or Revlon foundation is about $45n (roughly $30 USD) but this makes my skin looks lovely!

I got this free when I ordered something online. The other day I decided to try it just for kicks. I used it alone and applied it with my MAC187. Not sure if that's the best application method, but I was very impressed with how this turned out. I live in a dry climate and I suffer from extremely dry skin, and this powder did not look or feel drying on me at all. It evened out my skin tone and looked totally natural. I really love this for days when I'm in a rush and not going anywhere special, but I want my skin to look presentable and decent. I'm also not big into mineral powders or foundations, but I am quite pleased with this. I took one lippie off because I had a red splotch on my face the day I wore it...not sure if it's from the powder, or from the increasingly cold temperature.

I was cleaning out my makeup drawers and found this in the back somewhere. It was just a small purchase for something to carry around in my bag with me if I needed to touch up. I had completely forgotten about it after throwing it in with all my other junk. So, one day I decided to use this as a sort of setting powder for my colorstay; holy moly this stuff was amazing.
It helped my foundation stay solid all day. The colorstay foundation would stay pretty well on it's own, but with this stuff, just wow.
Then out of curiosity, I decided to just use it by itself. Another wow, my friends. This stuff evened out my skin tone beautifully and lasted through a hot summer day. I don't usually get many zits and stuff so I'm not sure if it would conceal those on it's own, but it covered some little scars of mine from previous pimples with no problem.
It comes with a brush (which I lost.) I use elf's powder brush to apply this, which I think is a huge part of the amazing look and feel I have come to love with this product. Great drugstore buy right here!

This is a really awesome pressed powder. I have colour buff beige and it blends perfectly with my skin and has really great lasting power and coverage. I use it on top of L'Oreals Matte Morphose and for the time being its a really great, affordable foundation combination that works really well on my skin. Will be using this combo for a while i think!

this powder was really chalky. even if i left it sitting in my makeup bag (where it spent most of its time), chunks of product would crumble out.
when i powdered my face, it gave me this white cast. its also really difficult to buff in and looked grainy on my skin. didnt seem to break me out, but it didnt help my acne either.
all these bad qualities for $12. way overpriced.

I love this powder! I don't know why there aren't more positive reviews on it. Not sure how I would rate it price wise as I got it at a makeup sale so don't know how much it is full price. It matches my skin tone PERFECT. Keeps me looking matte for almost all day. The shade I have is very yellow based which works in my favour as I usually use it on top of my BB cream which can sometimes look slightly grey on my skin so this puts the yellow undertones back into my skin. You don't need much of it, especially if you are using it on top of a foundation. It adds more coverage for my skin which I love. I've had it for a few months and I don't think I'm even close to hitting pan. Would definitely repurchase as it's probably the best powder I've ever bought.

I tried this out of desperation after the company that makes my mineral makeup went out of business before I tried the wonderful Jane be pure products. Some of the the foundations out there like this have one thing in common oxybismouth chloride which IMO is as bad as talc it is what gives your mineral foundation that yucky orange look and irritates your skin. The color overall wasnt bad but it did make me break out and coverage was alright I only use this if I am desparate and out of my fav foundation I still have the same compact I bought two years ago. The brush is okay it goes on well if you use a puff for pressed powder def wont get this again its overpriced for the junk thats in it.

I've never had this problem before, but when I used this power after an hour or so it gave my T-zone a very odd-looking appearance that I haven't seen before or since. It left it looking shimmery and almost metallic. It was very unflattering.
It provides a light coverage and lasts as long as other powders do.
I *love* the packaging except for the brush, it's too small, awkwardly shaped and hard to hold well.
I would not buy this product again due to the odd affect it had on my skin even though I've used other products in this line.

I bought this in "Light" for about $15...
I found it way too dry, and cakey. It isnt milled as finely as other mineral foundations I've tried.
It's just chalky on my skin.. even after I've double moisturized, even after I've spritzed with moisturizing toner after.
It might be the mix, the lighter colours in the Loose Powder of this line tend to get cakier and chalkier than the darker tanned ones. LOVE the Classic Tan loose powder in the line though.
The packaging : Twisting off the top of a compact is time consuming.. and the brush deposits way too much product on the skin, in my opinion. Even with a high quality brush , I haven't noticed great improvement.
I would suggest this only for oilier skin.

i don't know if it's just my pressed powder or not but this was packed on tightly. i could barely see powder on my brush (i tossed the one that came with the packaging and just used my own powder brush) so i would have to constantly swivel my brush in the compact over and over again. there's a slight hint of shimmer in this product that does nothing for my skin and the coverage is whatever. the color i got looks a bit orange on my skin and it transfers easily. also, i once used this with a slightly damp brush (washed overnight and it still was a little damp) and it just ruined the whole powder! there was this weird solid crust that formed on there. i ran my fingers over it after i used it and no powder showed up on my fingers, just a hardened solid surface. i eventually had to scrape off the solidified mess to reveal the powdered area once again. beyond annoying!

LOVE this product for what it does, and the price. To be completely honest, i'd probably rate this a 4 if it cost like 10 bucks. I got it at pharmaplus for 4 bucks, and was pretty skeptical. Got home, and LOVED it. It takes out most/all of the oil and sets my foundation nicely. It also contains mica, and no talc, which is definitely a PLUS.

WOW this stuff is amazing! Saw it at Walgreens for 75% off, but passed by. Saw it again at Rite Aid, still for 75% off, and thought I'd give it a try; ended up coming out to $3. I used it as a finishing powder over my liquid foundation and woow! Gave me such a nice, matte, lightly tinted finish! I have become hooked onto a somewhat lengthy face routine =( BUT, today, I was in a hurry and was running very late for work. I put on some moisturizer, concealer, and this powder..and a light dusting of HD powder. I was afraid my face would be completely dull in a few hours (as I almost always have full coverage liquid under the powder), so wasn't sure how this would hold up. Almost 12 hours later, it's where I put it earlier in the day! I am so very pleased!! I went back to Rite Aid to pick up another, as for $3, for such a greta product, I simply had to get more! Also, I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks, but I swear, my skin looks a little better since I've been using this! Overall, I am very pleased!!

I bought this at Walgreens for about 3.50. It was clearance, plus they had a bogo offer at the time.
I bought this with the Loreal True Match foundation, which was superb.
I like the coverage of this powder, but it's summer and I've tanned, which makes this product a shade or two too light. I've since bought an Anew pressed powder in a shade darker (and wow, I LOVE that powder).
All in all, a good buy.

Probably one of the best finishing powders I have ever used. This totally made me ditch foundation. This gives amazing coverage without the foundation and it has THE BEST staying power I have ever seen. It doesn't fade, stays matte the whole day and I've never experienced anything bad with this. The brush was a load of bull. It did NOTHING, once applied it would leave this nasty streaks. I tried using it for my bronzer, just does not work. It scratched the living hell out of my PP. I also think that the case is too big for the product. It is NOT travel friendly. However, the product is amazing. I bought this as the 75% off sale at PharmaPlus for $5 CDN, I'm not sure how much it originally is, but I think it was more or less then $15. Definitely wait for a good sale before purchasing as their Bare Naturale line is quite pricey.

I bought this in Sand Beige and the colour is a perfect match for my complexion. It wears beautifully, offers from light to medium coverage, and looks very natural on my skin. The only downfall is the staying power. The powder transfers onto everything that touches my skin. Worse, I get oily in about an hour of wear, which is very unusual because my face on it own does not get oily within an hour. Got it at CVS 75% off so I don't feel too bad. I might try it again during the winter, but unless they reformulate the powder, I am not buying it again.

Very nice, natural looking powder. I trashed the freeby brush and used my EcoTools kabuki. This is really nice...sets my face for the natural look I love. I bought creamy natural for my NC25 and it matches very well.

I purchased this for around $3 on sale at CVS. Great powder! Looks very nice on the skin, great staying power and good color match. I hope they don't discontinue this, but I think they are since mine was marked 75% off and the shelves were not being restocked at multiple CVS stores.... :(

I decided to try this powder, mainly because i wanted something with a good colour match, and when it comes to drugstore, this is the second best brand when it comes to range of shades available ( I struggle a lot, because I'm pale with very strong yellow undertones). OK, so to the point:
Packaging:
Wheras i usually don't care much for how pretty the packaging is, this one annoyed the hell out of me: it's not for clumsy people. The brush is no good for me: it's poor qulity and doesn't make the powder "stick" to your skin well, but hey everyone's skin is different. Also the lid comes of all of the time, which is really annoyoing, so it's not very portable- my whole makeup bag is now covered in powder.
Application:
When applied with a separate powder brush, the powder looks nice at the begging, although it's still quite chalky, even on my oily skin, so i'm not sure if it will work good with dry skin either.
Staying Power:
The staying power is very good (again it is probably a bit better when it comes to normal and dry skin tones)- after an hour i'm oily again. This isn't unusualy with DS powders for me, and most of the time i' willing to work with it, but this product does not look good when reapplied- it is very cakey (even if a small amount is applied). It also oxidised quite badly.
Colour range:
It's okay- nothing spectacular, none of the shades were quite yellow enough for me (and pale at the same time), but i'm pretty sure there will be shades available for darker skin tones with yellow and pink undertones and paler skin tones with pink undertones.
I also think this powder may work better if you have normal, dry, or possibly combination skin. Oily skintones, it may not work for you- but this also depends - if your skin is smooth (no ance, bumps, whatever) and you like the dewy look, you can get away with it, probably when used without a foundation underneath, but if you need to use foundation i say keep looking, cause this one isn't gonna do a great job.
