I love Juicy tubes and I always end up with the Melon ones because I buy them in packs of threes with the Fraise and the Cerise.

The Melon colour is very light, almost clear. You need to wear it over a lipstick. However like all other Juicy Tubes it has the nice super shiny look to it and an almost addictive sticky feeling. So a thumbs up anyhow.

I admit I only bought this in order to qualify for the free gift. I've never owned a juicy tube before so I didn't know what I was getting. It was hard for me to choose a colour because most of the shades are rather too glittery for my taste but Melon looked ok. It's a natural neutral pink which suits my colouring and though I'm not too keen on the taste or smell I can live with it. It's soothing and moisturing and lasts a bit longer than the similar product that I usually get from Clinique. Would I buy it again? Only for the same reason that I bought it this time.

i always loved it, it just smells like summer, and has a nice sheer pigmentation as well.. but now i am in love with the vital mandarin and fresh minty tea from their new p.u.r.e. series....

This is the shade that got me started on JT. I was on vacation, on a cruise ship, in Europe, and missing my kids and sorta bummed out and seeking retail therapy. I am not usually one to run out and spend $18 on a lip gloss but I was on vacation and needing a pick me up and so I spurged. This stuff is depression therapy in a tube. It smells yummy (like watermelon), it tastes yummy, it makes your lips feel absolutely flawless and after a while they ARE flawless because of the way it protects your lips. Anyone calling this thin must have bought an imposter. It's thick enough for coverage even though it's sheer. I'd say anything else in my cosmetic bag is replaceable, but Juicy Tubes are a must have and melon is one of my faves.

this was my first juicy tube and i loved it. the smell is abit too strong (one lippy off for that) but other than that, it was perfect. it's rather sticky, but i guess that's what gives it amazing staying power. the colour is really pretty...kind of a subtle light pink. it doesn't really give you much colour on your lips, just enhances it.

I like other juicy tubes but this one is horrible. The smell is so unnatural and disturbing and there's a gross taste associated with it. Had to throw it out.

I like this! a very pretty color and very glossy. its sticky like all juicy tubes, but its okay. the fruity scent is really strong too! so dont buy these if you dont like that. i got this in a set with cherry and strawberry from a duty free shop in germany, and melon is my favorite! a very natural light pinky color. its cute =) but i probably wouldnt buy it again after i use it up..mostly cause i like to try a lot of different products

This was the first time I bought a Juicy Tube. I'd used Clarins and Clinique versions of lip-gloss-in-a-tube before but wanted to get the "free gift with 2 purchases" when buying a bottle of perfume as a present so decided to bite the bullet and get the Melon (shade 22). I'd always thought that Juicy Tubes were a bit too sticky for my liking (hence my previous reluctance to buy them) however this one felt really moisturising and not sticky at all. I really like the shade (just a hint of a pinky/red) and it particularly suits lightly-tanned skin - by this I mean I prefer the way it looks when I have fake tan on than when I don't.

The flavour is it's only downside - it is a bit strong and I can often taste the lipgloss more than food when I wear it while eating.

That said, I love the colour and texture so will probably repurchase.

Wasn't very impressed with this flavour.. I found it wore off quite quickly and didn't give enough colour - I would prefer purchasing a cheaper brand of clear/sheer gloss instead of this one. I am a big fan of some other juicy tube flavours though.

The colour of this gloss is a very subtle pinky/red, which just slightly enhances the natural colour of the lips. Nice for a daytime look, particularly if you like your make up to be very natural like i do, or if you tend to wear heavy make up around the eyes. The gloss itself glides on beautifully over lip balm, and unlike SO many other lip glosses, my lips are not soggy/chapped after a few hours of wear. Another thing i like about this is the fact that it does not contain any glitter, but i guess that is personal preference. The packaging is very unfussy, which you either like or you dont. Personally, i would prefer packaging like the Color Fever range, which also come with a foam applicator; and for the price you pay for juicy tubes, a little classier packaging wouldn't go a miss! Anyway, i probably will buy this lip gloss again, unless i can find a lip gloss of a similar colour, but slightly more visible once applied.

I am always skeptical when it comes to gloss. I am EVEN more skeptical when it's designer gloss. I was given a tube of this last month and I worried about its performance because I really like Lancome's products. I am happy to say I wasn't disappointed at all ;) It smells really fruity with no weird taste, and it goes on really well if you use a lip brush. I wear it alone most of the time because I find that if I put it on top of my usual lipstick, it tends to wash the lipstick color out. It also lasts for quite a while-- 3-4 hours, even through a glass of water -- but you'll have to reapply.

Main reason why I like this gloss a lot is it doesn't dry my lips out and make them peel off (like with other glosses that have too much of the goopy stuff). Only thing that keeps me from buying more Juicy Tubes would be the high price, but I would say the non-drying and staying power of this gloss makes it a little worthwhile.

Another winner in the juicy tube collection, allthough this is far from my favorite. This gives my lips a natural color, but I use estee lauders crystal gloss when I want natural lips, so I wont repurchase. I dont really like the smell...not a fan of melons:D Love juicy tubes though!

I resisted the whole juicy tube thing for years, but when I gave in I didn't regret it. I normally loose things like this when I'm out and about, but this one was quite expensive, so I am making the effort to hold on to it. I love the colour and the smell, and how I look when its freshly applied. It does make my lips look fuller, as its close to their natural colour. I find clear glosses just look too articifical. Doesn't last that long, but I am yet to find a gloss that does, and as they go this is one of the better lasting.

Not my favourite JT. Not so keen on the taste or scent. Not sure why they give this as a GWP so often as it's not their nicest one. Goes on clear but not the nicest colour in the tube.

My first Juicy Tube, I went for something neutral and pretty that would be a safer bet than a bright colour, as for the price NZ$44 you wouldn't want this gloss to be rotting on your shelf collecting dust! Great quality, impressive staying power - will buy more Juicy Tubes.

I like the melon scent. Abit sticky n not much pigment. I use it as a topcoat for my lipstick. I wish that it comes in a wand instead of a tube. Abit pricey. Will not re-purchase again, would rather try other brands.

I like the melon scent but the texture is too sticky for my liking. This would look good on girls with very fair complexion and pale lips but the barely there pink shade is hardly noticeable on me, it's as if I'm wearing a clear gloss. I wouldn't repurchase but I'd probably get another JT in a deeper colour.

I love the staying power of this lip gloss! It feels sticky in your lips which is not good, but the taste and smell is great! This is my best gloss that stays so long on my lips

This one gave my lips a lovely slightly red/pink natural tint that enhanced my lips and girls at work oftem complimented on the colour. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the smell of melons. Love the fruit but not this. I would only buy this again, if they kept the colour and changed the scent.

Believe it or not, I think I am the last person to buy juicy tubes on this planet!!! Been putting it off because I cannot justify paying the amount for something as these, however I have finally get the chance on Snet, and I got to say I LOVE IT!!! I love the watermelon smell, so delicious and I love glossy lips so this one definitely live up the expecation, it has great staying power and is not sticky! Not much colour shown, but that is perfectly fine with me, cant wait to try out other ones!!
One down side is i prefer it to be in a wand, looks so much classier!
