This beige is very classy and extremely tasteful. Do not use topcoats on it, just use drying drops. I didn't listen to the Barneys SA and used to a topcoat the first time, not only that beautiful classy half matte half shiny beige looked cheap and plasticky but it chipped the following day after a shower. Applied on its own, this lasts a few days.

My skin tone is medium with a little olive to it so the color is OK with my skin. This shade truly adds zero color to your nails. When you read the description on the Barney's website, it says "an extension of you natural nail." This is exactly right.

The color isn't nearly as pink as it looks on the website. It's more of a true nude. The matte finish is neat - I really like that - and must be the reason the polish goes on so smoothly. No bubbles (as the previous reviewer mentioned) and a sleek finish. Can't speak to the lasting power yet, but I can already tell this isn't a fragile polish. And, even if it does chip, it wouldn't be too noticeable.

I like this and am glad I've experienced it once, but, probably won't purchase again just due to the price ($65). I think either OPI or Orly have a matte finish top coat that could do the same thing with any color.

This is the nail polish that retails for $65 a bottle. Available in 2 shades; this is the nearly nude shade with a natural finish. It is not matte, nor shiny. It goes on thinly, but does not bubble or look cakey when 2-3 coats are applied. It wears well, no chipping after 10 days. I took off a lip due to the absurd price (yes, I know, but I bought it so how can I complain) and because the color is odd. I am a NW10 with pink undertones. This shade on looks like my nails are dead (or I'm dead). It's a flesh color w/a hint of pink and yellow. On my toes, it looked like they were, well, not doing well. My DH thought I had a nail fungus are something. This shade may look perfect on the right skin-tone, but for the money I spent, it was disgusting.

Serge Luten products are high quality and very concentrated. When they work, they work very well. When they don't, well, then they bomb.
