This gets a 0, not one. Its gives off a white cast, and there is no titanium dioxide in this. The taste and sent is unbearable . Tastes like a bunch of chemicals , and moisturizes my lips for 30 minutes , 40 tops. Will use up the rest . Not repurchasing .

This went on thick and made my lips really pale and weird. It was frosty, I guess, which looks bad on me. I also found that it really highlighted any dry spots on my lips when it was applied. Worked ok for me as a balm, though. I hate to waste money, so I used it up as a balm on days when I was planning on staying home. If the pale, frosty lip look suits you, you may want to try it.

I like how it has an SPF. It smells great, but I wish it had more shimmer.

I bought this at my local target on sale, just on a whim. This balm has moisturized my lips drastically. Usually I like to fuss with my lips a lot I am a true lip junkie and cannot stand when I buy a product that makes my lips chap. As soon as I applied this on my lips it soften them and made them moisturized which I am pleased considering that this product has shimmer I thought it would be a down fall but it wasn't! I would recommend this to anyone and if you are still skeptical try and find it on sale (which is what I did)!!

Not a fan of shimmer on my lips and this is SUPER shimmery. (yes I know it's supposed to be but it was a gift) I am going to try this just added to the center of the lips to give a plumping effect and see how that works (opposed to putting it all-over).

The 1st lip product I've used where the smell/taste had me reaching for tissue paper immediately! I'm not typically senstive to this kind of stuff, if a lip product is chemically or super artificial, I'm just "no likey". This one was remove, STAT!

I liked this lip balm alot. It didn't moisturize as good as other lib balms but it did a good job. I liked the shimmery look on my lips. Sadly, I didn't get to use this for very long because it melted badly during the summer when I left it in the house

Weird! Are we all reviewing the same product?? I LOVE this stuff. Picked some up today at Rite Aid and its the *slightest* amount of shimmer and not glossy at all. Its so absolutely perfect. It makes my lips look better without looking like they have gunk on them and w/o looking overly shiny. My lips just look glowy. Did I say I love this stuff? I really do. Definitely plan to repurchase.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product, not only is it a chapstick but it also gives you that pretty pink shimmery color. If your not a fan of pink, stay away. The only problem i have with it is that it dries up and i would have to re apply it. But other then that i would deff recommend this !

Kind of on the fence about this one. I got this in a Nivea pack with A Kiss of Smoothness and A Kiss of Milk and Honey. I tried a Softlips brand like this, and it was almost exactly the same. Same smell, look, almost everything. For some reason I definately enjoyed this one here more. The Softlips kind like this made my lips look very white and pale and made me look like a stripper Barbie, but this is more toned down and nicer. I'm sure you can get it anywhere from $1-$4, depending on where you go. My best guess is somewhere in the middle for price. The packaging is good for this kind of product. Nivea lip products always have interesting packaging, maybe not very practical though (the balms break off the stick so easily!). For this one though since it has color it gets a good grade, it almost reminds me more of a lipstick than a tinted lip balm! It does have more product than a normal lip balm which is a plus. The smell is amazing, I think almost anyone would find it appealing. It very reserved and not very strong and cloying. It is hard to put my finger on, but it smells almost like sweet berries that are more sweet than berry. It goes on a little bit more tougher than any of the other Nivea lip products really, but still smooth once it is on and when you rub your lips. The color is alright. It will either make you look washed out or really tan. I imagine it would look gorgeous with a tan, but I got it while Black Friday shopping, so only winter followed. Happy about the SPF 10, though. This will be a treat to wear in the summer. Doing a swatch on the back of my hand, it is a very frosty pink color. It shows up only as a tint though, not as a huge coat like the Softlips version had. With blonde hair, blue eyes, and ivory skin, this doesn't nessarily look as good as a darker color would on me, but I am glad it is just a tint as I mentioned. It also is so shiny that it looks like it has zillions of tiny sparkles in it, which isn't really the case when I study the product tube. The product also appears to be darker than it actually shows up. This moisturizes okay, but the Nivea lip balms tend to not give much moisture punch, this especially. It does work to get rid of flakies or to keep lips moisturized and protect them though. This isn't really for everyday use for me, more when I see it and want to put some on and feel like I woln't be washed out. Home is usually where I wear this, but it looks nice with a lipgloss over it. I picked up some tubes of Nivea A Kiss of Shine today, and it looks great with a touch of the shimmer! I still don't know if I would repurchase, but I like to remain optomistic that I would, since I still enjoyed it, even if not as much as others. If the time comes when I see a tube on sale or a two for one, I will go for it. Besides that? Didn't care for it enough to go out of my way to buy it. Still something nice and new to try though, and would only reccomend to people who have the tan/bronze look to them. Lighter tones like me shoud watch out. Overall, it was nice and feminine. My friend saw me with it and got it for herself, and hey-it looks great with her olive skin tone!
Edit 6/26/12:
Now that I'm tan, this stuff rocks. It makes me look even more tan. Getting those compliments, also. Love the SPF for summer. Great for summer, let's not talk about it for winter.

Crap, stings, burns, dries out lips after a while. Painful, therefore harmful. I dont know what ingredients are irritating!?

I like the idea of this, but it was too frosty. When I wear a lip balm I usually put 2 thin coats, but even one coat of this made me look dead.
I will be giving this 2 my 4 year old niece

I didn't care for this at all. I found it too thick, very drying, and more frosty than shimmery. It could possibly be pretty dabbed on very lightly by itself or over a lipstick but as a lip balm it's worthless. I tossed my tube.

Purchased this on a whim yesterday and went back today to get another one. I really really like this balm/ lip care/ gloss....not sure what to call it. What do I like?
1) The texture. It's nice and smooth, not sticky or tacky. 2) The gloss is just right, not neon sign glossy 3) The color is a perfect sheer gloss with shimmer, lets some of my natural lip color show through while adding just a hint of shimmer. 4) Lasting power. Lasted nicely through several hours but didn't stain like a lipstick. 5) Not a huge amount of flavor. I'm not a fan of flavor and would have preferred none, but as it is, it's a pretty mildly flavored product.

Bottom line: Nice shimmer, Not sticky, Lasted well. Didn't taste like a jelly bean. Didn't stain my lips. Feel your lips are too dry or cracked? "Brush" them with vaseline and a toothbrush or olive oil and brown sugar first. They'll be nice and smooth. Most likely not a product for you if feel your lips are heavily lined. Then you might want to opt for something without shimmer.

I liked the color, the scent and the SPF. But it has a definite drying effect, which is not something I want in a lip balm.

I like this lip balm. It has spf in it, which is great. It's a pretty pink shimmery color, smells good, & actually stays put (unlike some expensive lipglosses). I will say though, this does emphasize on lines in your lips. So if your lips are already somewhat chapped or dry, I wouldn't use this. This is more of a protector after you've healed your chapped lips. This does give some moisture, but not as much as most lip balms. I'm on my second bottle of this & I always keep this in my makeup bag. I would repurchase:)

This lipbalm tastes terrible to me! It has a very rich, sweet, artificial kind of smell that can make you quite nauseous if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. It is an average moisturizer. the color has the potential to be flattering on certain young people, but I'm sure it brings out fine lines in more aged lips. It feels kind of cheap and isn't really anything special, so I wouldn't repurchase.
