This is a miss for me. The color in the bottle is lovely, but it's too streaky for my liking. I got this color to use for french manicures, so I wanted it to be sheer and it is, but it's just too streaky to use for a french manicure. It is possible to get a pretty, light opaque pink, but that requires 4+ coats which just isn't worth it to me. Besides that, the color just isn't anything special for the price. You can get this same color minus the streakiness in many other brands. I wouldn't recommend this and wouldn't repurchase it.

I chose Pinking up the pieces thinking it would be like it looks in the bottle - a blue-based pink with irridence. It is more like a very sheer jelly. It's OK - but just Meh. Fortunately it applies super easily and dryies quickly.
No harm, no foul, but there are plenty of other pinks I like way better,

This color is sooo gross, the only way anyone would want it on nails or toes is if you work in an office, its def safe for work, other than that i did this today for a pedi and thank god its winter and most ppl wont see my feet. Its a neither here or there sheer pink, but its not even pretty. The nasty bonus is that this color looks totttaaaly diff in the bottle!

I really don't know how to classify this color: it's got a bit too much pigment to be considered a sheer (predictably, there are some streaking issues with this), but it's definitely not an opaque either, not even at 3 coats. I guess the closest description would be an iridescent jelly; this polish has a light pink base with blue-violet shimmer suspended in it. While it's the classic Essie microshimmer (my favorite!), the iridescence is quite obvious, so the color runs on the cooler side.
Overall, not a bad color, pretty cute-- I bought it because I figured it'd be a fun twist on your day-in-day-out light pink cremes, but it's something entirely different. I won't be repurchasing, but I'm definitely not having buyer's regret, either.

I guess if I knew exactly what I was getting (well described by previous reviewer) I would be OK. However, in the bottle it looked a lot pinker and not as translucent. Don't like the purple tinge either - the whole thing looks too clear

This is my favorite color for my nails. It is a sheer iridescent pearly pink shade that is perfect for my shorter nails. I work in an office and try to keep my nails professional looking. Sometimes I like to go with colors that are more fun but 90% of the time I have on this or a shade similar to it. IMHO it is a close to the clean look of a french manicure that you can get without the hassle of painting the perfect white tips. Essie polishes are my favorite because of thier quality. The color lasts without chipping or peeling. The polish doesn't thicken up but stays fluid in the bottle. I'd give this one extra lippies if I could!
