I have combination skin and this makes a great light moisturizer. It's light, has a nice herbal smell (which is a lot nicer than strong sunscreen) and it absorbs quickly without leaving a weird residue like some moisturizers do. It's not supposed to a moisturizer (not a primary one), but if your skin needs a pick-me-up, it works well enough.

To me, this is a so-so product. It's not moisturizing enough to be a moisturizer but it does absorb quickly and smells great. I'm not exactly sure what this product is supposed to do, so I'm having trouble determining if it's doing a good job. After a couple of weeks of using it, I haven't really noticed any improvement in my skin but maybe there is a long term benefit to using it. I do notice that my skin seems a bit more red in the morning, so I'm wondering if this supposed to be the brightening effect. As for smoothness - no difference. Clarity - no improvement, Tone - no effect. I don't think I'll be repurchasing.

This product is amazing. I love the way it smells! It feels soooo good on my skin. I wake up in the morning with amazing looking skin. I have seen a difference after using this product. My face is a lot softer and smoother. I used to have a lot of discolouration on my face prior to using this but it has started going away. I hardly even use foundation in the morning anymore because that's how much it has improved my skin. (Although I still use concealer under my eyes sometimes). This stuff is really good. I was be buying this again.

I got this for $4.50 at Big Lots and I really love it. I've started using this as my night moisturizer and it makes my skin sooooo soft and smooth and keeps my skin from getting dry. I'm not really sure what the "skin boosting" is supposed to mean or do, but it's overall a very good product. I'd repurchase this again.

This serum is fantastic and i reckon it doubles really well as a light but effective moisturiser. it smells wonderful and absorbs quickly. it makes my skin super soft and seems to give it a bit of a glow. i generally use it by itself at night but sometimes during the day under my makeup as it's so light and refreshing. if my skin is very dry for some reason at night, i use it under the night moisturiser. i'm rather impressed and am likely to purchase it again :)

I got this at Marshall's for $ 8.99 Canadian since none of our local DS carries them. I love this serum. At first I would use this serum in my nighttime routine, which I apply this first then my night time moisturizer, but eventually when I am in a hurry I would use this as my moisturizer before I apply my make up because it gets absorbed in my skin really quick. When I went to Aruba for a vacay, this is the only moisturizer that I brought with me. I apply this under my sunscreen and I had no problem with dryness what so ever. I would repurchased this if I can find it again, but there was none the last time I checked at Marshall's, I did not see one either when I went to the US, I checked both Walmart and Target and they don't carry this anymore. P.S. this serum has a really nice scent that others might find off putting or might be sensitive to, so be warned!

I love this product! It feels just wonderful on my face. I put this on everynight as the first step of my skincare rountine, and sometimes i dont even put on moisturizer because of the moisture this product provides. Also this is the only product i put on my neck- besides sunscreen of course- and it feels so soft. The reason i knocked off a point is because this product isn't that necessary. If you have a good moisturizer it can replace this. But i pick this over my moisturizer.

I recently started using this after purchasing it on a whim from drugstore.com. I don't usually like using products with fragrance, and this has a strong scent that dissipates quickly enough. It goes on smooth and my skin absorbs it without leaving any kind of odd residue. My skin doesn't look brighter, but I do feel like it's calmer and more fresh.

I bought this serum because it was 50% off the sale price at the cheapest drugstore in town. So I thought why not give it a try? You don't get very much, the bottle is maybe 30mL, so I'm glad I didn't pay more. I used it at night like directed and found that I didn't have to apply moisturizer in the morning because my face didn't feel tight and dry when I wake up like it usually does. I don't notice any brightening or radiance effects, although it's never promised on the package so I suppose I can't hold it against them. I'll use it until it's done, but you're better off investing in a quality moisturizer then bothering with this overall useless step.

I actually bought this about a year ago because my skin was really drying out from my boyfriend's heater, which was right next to his bed. I used it 2 or 3 times and then it disappeared--turns out my boyfriend had it at the back of his closet somehow. I found it about 2 weeks ago, while going through a box of stuff left over from our move, and decided to start using it again. The first 2 or 3 days I used it, I wasn't so sure, but I kept using it and the results really showed around the 4th day of use. I have to say that I LOVE it now! Like many other reviewers have said, it makes my skin soooo soft. Usually, scented facial products irritate my sensitive skin and sinuses, but this serum does not cause me any problems. I use it after removing my makeup (either by washing my face or, if I'm lazy, by using a makeup removing towelette) and putting on under eye moisturizer. You only need one pump. I haven't tried it on my neck yet because my skin there is insanely sensitive, even more than my face, and I've been afraid of hives (which are common for me, unfortunately). I may try it since it's now cold outside and I could cover them up with a turtle neck if I needed to, haha.
For reference, I am fair, have very sensitive skin, and have normal/combination skin. It really does make my skin look lovely when I wake up. Before using this, I would have an oily T-Zone when I woke up. Now, I have noticed that my skin is perfectly balanced and looks noticeably brighter. My boyfriend commented on how soft my face was and he even thought it smelled great.
I did try using it under my daytime moisturizer, but I am not so sure that I like how it combined. I may try it again. It may have been how I applied it, but it felt too heavy with my daytime moisturizer and BM makeup. Maybe I didn't wait long enough for it to absorb.
Anyway, I hope that I can still find this again, though I think the small bottle will last me for at least a year. I would like to find a moisturizer that I could wear over it that offers anti-aging benefits, since the box doesn't mention anything about preventing wrinkles. Anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry for long review--I tend to ramble on! :-) I hope this helps others.

Biore never fails me. I've been using Biore since I was fifteen, so I've been using their products for five years. I must admit, as much as I loved and still love Biore, I was quite skeptical about purchasing this product. Would it really brighten my skin? It did! I noticed results after a few nights of use and I noticed that my face just had a healthy glow to it and I noticed that I could put my make up on without any trouble (dry patches were gone). I use this mainly in winter (Canadian winters are harsh, yikes!) when my skin is super dry at night.
Love it! Another good thing is that you only need one (sometimes two) pumps each night, so the small bottle really does last a long time.

not quite HG, but close enough to make me happy. this is pretty cheap as it is, but i found it for half off at Ulta a couple times, so got it for under 5 bucks -- just look around for sales there and at Walgreen's.
i'm on my third bottles of this, and i use it in the morning under my sunblock/moisturizer as a treatment. this makes my face look more even-toned, rested, and smooth -- and this i'm sure of, because when i finished my first bottle, i noticed i didn't look quite as lively in the morning, which is what prompted me to buy a second bottle. most products don't yield any noticeable changes on my skin, because my skin isn't wrinkled or inelastic. so, i'm always thrilled to find something that works, esp. if it's cheap.
the packaging is superb -- a handy pump ensures product freshness. it does tend to occasionally squirt out too much until you learn how hard to press to get just the right amount; thus, i took off one star for packaging.
the only other downside is the smell - it gets old after awhile. it's too strong, and too sweet, almost citrusy.
try this if you're looking for a nice, cheap drugstore buy that renders quick results. please note my skin is oily and acne-prone, and this did not exacerbate either condition.

nice smell, has a pump (packaging nice), feels good on the skin, but the worse crime of all skin care products...it breaks me out. It's a shock, because the ingredients look natural and very nice, no sodium sulfates or anything...and still it breaks me out! im using it up on my legs and feet...at least i'll have soft feet, can't get acne there lol

Again another great product from Biore. I really wish I knew of Biore about 4 year ago when I started and adapted my own skincare routine. I went through 2 years worth expensive high end skincare only to have an oily face full of pimples dry patches, those were my ugly duckling days (Dont get me wrong some of the high end skincare does work, and some I still use, and I still try new products all the time, and some are completely waste of money).
I use this every night, it is a serum and I know the packaging says that you can use this during the day under your day moisturizer, but I only use at night. I always tone my face, and apply my eye cream on before I apply this. I wear this alone without any night cream over the top because I dont feel the need to apply a night cream on, this hydrates and soothes my skin so much I just dont want to apply anything else on top of it. i usually wake up looking fresh and bright the next day.
It absorbs very quick and even the though the bottle is tiny, one pump would be all you need for each application, therefore the bottle lasts quiet long.
Very inexpensive stuff, last a long time, doesnt break me out. i love Biore!

I got a sample of this when i bought a face scrub and I didn't use it for the longest time until I accidentally stumble upon it at the back of my makeup drawer. Holy cow if I would have known how great it is I would have used it before. It has a great scent & texture. It goes on very smooth like a silky gel type product. I put it on @ night and in the morning my face just glows and feels super hidrated and soft. But since I only had a sample I ran out in about 2 weeks so i had to buys new one, but getting ur hands on one of these is nearly impossible as Walmart doesnt carry it. Do I turned to eBay and found a 2 pack for $6 :) this is definitelly a must have for me

I didn't like this product at first, maybe it was because I was using another product along with this serum. After using serum by itself, I got better results. I like it because it doesn't get greasy. Too bad I can't find it anywhere except on drugstore.com...I think it might be discontinued :(
edit: I realized it is discontinued.
Now it is called, SkinPreservation Hard Day's Night. Seems like better packaging, 0.3 Oz more BUT $4 more than this one.Darn...Just when I thought this serum was really nicely priced it is climbing up the money ladder. Oh well.

This is a very cooling, fruity and fast-absorbing serum that comes in a cute green pump bottle. Very easy to use. Not recommended for eye area because of stinging. May sensitise sensitive skin types so avoid or test first before purchasing (I took away 1 lippie for that reason - there were days when my skin was not feeling its best, and so I could not use it because it made my face stung). Personally, I wouldn't repurchase because though it is nice to use, it is also at the mercy at my ever-changing and sensitive skin type. You end up placing this to the side of your bathroom closet out of fear that it might aggravate your skin on badder days...so it's not really convenient.

Holy cow, what a find! I just picked this up recently at Harmon Discount for $6 and it is well worth 10X the price. All I had wanted was a basic antioxidant serum to layer under my sunscreen during the day and to wear at night under my moisturizer and this is great - no balling up (a pox on all those products that do this!), no irritation, not even when it's close to my eyes. My skin feel supple, plump and smooth and looks visibly brighter. I want to order a crate of this stuff just in case it ever gets discontinued. =P

I LOVE this stuff. I first got it in a sample, and i immediately saw/felt results. My skin felt soo much smoother. And still does. It is a little pricey for such a tiny bottle, but you dont need that much. a little goes a long way! :)

I"ve been using this for a while now, (but i never stick to one night time moistourizer)
pros: out of most of the moistourizers i've tried this one actually does make my skin feel softer..it absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all.
cons: i HATE how it smells, i generally don't like putting anything with fragrance onto my face, not that this smells bad but i wish it didn't smell. and i don't know if its just me but i kind of find the texture of this cream weird it feels really silky
