Where is the color, Avon? On the lashes this shows as deep brown, I can only see burgundy on the cotton pad when I wipe this useless mascara off. Overall it's a mediocre mascara, except for the little wand which comes in very handy for the corners and the lower lashes. I would definitely not make the same mistake again.

This is quite possibly the worst mascara I have ever used. It makes my lashes dark, but that's about it. They look limp and thin and this mascara flakes all over the place. Absolutely no lenghth or volume from this mascara. And it's strangely hard to wash off. I wash, I use make-up remover, then I was again and the color IS STILL THERE.
I'm REALLY sorry I bought them on a buy-two-for-a-low price because now I'm stuck with them.

Tried it once and wasn't excited but I tried it again and used several coats. I actually really like the consistancy, color is pretty and it doesn't flake. The additional small brush does make a difference. Planning to try more colors. 11/12/08: It dries out way too fast!

I searched for an affordable, well-rated (I always check Product Reviews) plum or burgundy mascara, to no avail. I decided to give Avon a try, since there is always a sale and I wouldn't be making a huge monetary investment if I hated the mascara.
Disclaimer: I do not have picky eyelashes. Mine are fairly thick and not too short. I'm not one of those MUAers who are continually seeking the perfect mascara. I was content for years to use GWP minis. My lashes don't clump easily and have some natural curl.
I was pleasantly surprised with this mascara. I thought the double-brush idea would be a gimmick; it's not. There is a small brush on one side with a waterproof formula, intended to be used on the lower lashes. I usually skip mascara on my lower lashes, fearing smudges, but do use this little wand. It looks cool.
The burgundy color is fun with my greenish eyes. I wear it as a change with appropriate eye makeup and clothing colors.
The main compartment's mascara seems to lengthen and thicken enough for my needs. The brush is standard.
