I'm currently buying many back up bottles of this! I can't believe how close Secret Obsession is to Lutens Feminite du Bois, and the Sheisedio version as well! To me this is a fruity woody and unique perfume, so similar to the others...I know it's already been axed by CK.. I'm not sure why it bombed so hard on the market, because it's gorgeous and so very unique compared to other stuff on mainstream perfume counters today...I guess that is why it bombed..On me it has good throw and longevity..Of course if you don't like woody orientals stay away from it..Also they should have launched it under a different name, it smells nothing like Obsession..I'm comparing it right now on my arm to Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois and WOW WOW WOW...They are striking in similarities to me...I can't believe it! By the way, Feminite du Bois goes for 120.00 a bottle, and the original Shiesdeio version ( if you can even find it is around 200 or more online)....Secret Obsession is under 30 bucks at places like T J Maxx and Marshall's...I'm stocking up on this beauty!!!! I can smell warm spicy plums, ginger lily, nutmeg, very faint floral notes, and witchy, sexy, sandalwood, musk and amber...If this isn't a sexy, and bewitching perfume I really do not know what is!

this is again a very different scent from calvin klein, at first smell you might find it heavy and nauseating. but allow a couple hours, with the warmth of your skin , the smell will completely chance. it s still spicy and warm smell but it reminds me of an evening drinking by the fireplace on a winter night :) so it s definitely for winter and for mature ladies. i dont like the bottle though.

Nice scent, but a bit heavy for me and I think for teens in general.

This has become my signature scent and I have just heard it has been discontinued in the UK!!
It's a lovely warm, spicy fragrance - not for the faint hearted.
Anyone know anything that smells similar?

Not the worst perfume I have ever smelt but something about it reminds me of toilet deoderiser... Slightly disappointed by it because I was expecting something closer to the original Obsession.

i simply love the smell of this perfume. And i HATE the original Obsession. I took 2 lippies because of it's poor staying power.
I really like the smell though. It isn't too girly, it's more elegant-office-powerful womanish.
Edit: I had to return it because I got nauseaous wearing this perfume, I always had an headache...just not for me.

It's sexy, and woodsy, spicy. It's not for the Clinique Happy crowd, it's more musky and sensual than anything else. Love how it's different. Great for an autumn or winter evening, date or whatever else. I am super picky and dislike anything else Calvin Klein so they absolutely can't stop making this!
Note-the bottle takes way too much space, it's annoying.

as established by many reviewers already, this has nothing in common with the original obsession (which i adore btw)
on my skin i get a very plummy tuberose with some woods and after about 4 or 5 hours this smells exactly like "curious" by britney spears.
although i don't reach for it too often i'm happy to have it in my collection. as i find it interesting and different from a lot of my other perfumes.

Love it for the cozy seasons - I never even think to grab this one off of my fragrance shelf in the warmer months. It's a warm woodsy fragrance. Smells like sexy warm skin on the drydown. I wouldn't consider it comparible to the original Obsession which is quite spicy. This is much more modern and sexy. Definitely a unique fragrance for a confident sexy woman.

I don't really care for this one. Nothing like the original Obsession. Secret Obsession is a metallic, sharp scent. If it were a color it would be a bright purple or possibly even silver. I got a sample of this but if I were to have purchased it I wouldn't buy it again. Also, where in this fragrance is the tuberose that people have been speaking of????

To this day, I have no clue what the original Obsession smells like. Or its first spin-off, Sheer Obsession, for that matter. Being a lover of rich, deep & complex vanilla/amber orientals, the stereotypical clean/soapy image of Calvin Klein fragrances have never appealed to me. The only reason why I ended up testing Secret Obsession in the first place was because my younger sister got a free sample vial of this perfume when she bought CKIn2u his & hers gift sets last month. The first time I sniffed this so-called "fruity/spicy/woody oriental", my initial reaction was: bleh. Fast forward a week later, I tested it again in the hope that I would like it better this time around, but nope, still a no go for me. For all it's over-hyped ad campaign, it's nothing remarkable, really. First, you get a blast of plum & spices (as previous reviewers have noted), which really is quite nice & promising. This phase, however, is disappointingly brief... the perfume quickly dries down to a generic, very masculine, very "men's cologne-ish" woody/spicy base which emerges a mere 30 minutes later (& disappears just as quickly). Frankly, this has got to be the EDP with THE worst staying power EVER... it's outrageous to think that people are expected to pay top dollar for something that doesn't even last 2 hours! Oh, and I absolutely HATE the bottle. It's the weirdest, tackiest thing I've ever seen (next to Euphoria's ugly, futuristic metal boat, of course). What is it supposed to BE anyway?? Good lord.

I hate to say this, but this smells "old." It reminds me of something from my childhood, something musty and soapy. I can't think of anything more to say.

I really love this fragrance! Wonderful floral (tuberose?)/woodsy scent that softens beautifully after wearing for an hour or so. It doesn't really smell the same as the original Obsession, but I would descibe both about the same------ floral/musky/woodsy/warm scent. It's a little different from the current best sellers at the moment. I wouldn't classify this as a unisex scent at all----way more floral than a man should wear. Not crazy about the bottle design, but I still love the fragrance!

I got this secret obsession at tj maxx for $10.00 for a 1.7 oz because someone took it out of the box and there was no cap.It was originally $30.00 but I got the discount.Well for $10.00 it was worth trying.I can say that it isn't sweet at all it is a night scent very woody and very spicy. It isn't all that but it is wearable. It smells lika a mixture of spark by liz claiborne mixed with ralph hot, So if you like either of those you might like this one.And the bottle looks prettier in the ad's than in person.I am glad I didn't pay retail value for this because I was going to pay the $75.00 and order the giftset from Macy's and I would have been pissed if I did!My boyfriend could actually wear this I would consider this unisex.
