Being half Asian and NC35, finding the perfect red has been such a huge challenge as I've found most reds out there to be too blue or orange undertoned for me. I'm happy to say that my search is now over and I have finally found my HG red lipstick with the bareMinerals Red Delicious. Absolutely beautiful colour and not too bright so I don't feel self conscious when I wear it. Does exactly what it says on the tin: 100% Natural Lipcolor.

For the longest time I never thought I could pull off red lipstick with my red hair. Earlier in the year I talked to a Mac mau and she told me I was crazy. I just had to find the right red. She convinced me to buy one of the Viva Glam ones, a matte red (The name rubbed off). I was so happy to find out I could pull it off I went to Ulta and the ladies helped me out and came up with this color. This looks so hot! I'm on the quest to find more reds.

I do so love Bare Escentuals' lip products; the lipsticks are my favorite texture/formula (along with Illamasqua's l/s). They are creamy, pigmented, soft, unique and last a long time. No waxy feel. Can be blotted on the lips for a nice stain too. Red Delicious is a nice neutral red with a *very* slight bit of a brick undertone (photographs brighter than it actually is)...more on the warm side than the cool side, but truly a red that can be paired with warm or cool looks. It's not over the top; a matte with a bit of shine to it. Does not bleed on me like other reds do. No frost whatsoever. I pair it with MAC's Russian Red (matte) when I want to brighten it up a bit.

This is an absolutely beautiful color, and lasts a very long time. This is about as neutral a red as you get, and is medium-toned, which I like. It is not too light that it looks like you have no color on, and it does not scream "RED." I find it matches almost any color scheme I wear. I have pretty fair, warm-toned skin and it looks just right. I had always looked for the "just right" red, and this is as close as I have come. I also really like the ingredients. I know that a lot of lipstick winds up ingested, and I feel good wearing a natural product. This lasts a super long time - unlike a lot of other natural products. It maintains its color very well and is very moisturizing and soothing. If you want to add some shimmer, or slightly change the tone, other colors layered over it do quite well. I'm going to try more of these BE lipsticks.

I've been using this shade--and others in the Bare Escentuals line--for a while now, and I've been pleased. Goes on very smoothly and doesn't dry my lips. Better quality than many higher priced lipsticks, including Lancome and IMO NARS. Color is a red-orange and reflects light nicely. When I want a lighter look, I'll swipe Berry Glace on top--or use it by itself.

FINALLY the red for me.. I have been searching for that perfect red only to be disappointed time and time again until now. Not too bright and just matte enough without being drying and boy oh boy does this have lasting power. I absolutely love this color and am happy to say my search for the perfect red is OVER!!!

I love this product! It's a beautiful color on and it's so natural. I only wish that it was a little more matte to stay on for more of the day.
