If you buy this, note that the tube will last you forever, especially if you're just covering up some dark marks or acne here and there. A tiny-itty bitty drop goes a LONG way. Along with staying power, its probably the best thing about this concealer.
However, I found that it was breaking me out. And... it was almost /too/ pigmented and thick. It's much, much harder to blend than it needs to be, and unless you get an absolute perfect colour match, it can get pretty obvious you're wearing it.
On /really/ bad skin days I reach for this just for its ridiculously good coverage, but unless you have the time to fiddle with this and blend it really well, it's not something I can wear everyday. It's just too much!

First heard of this product by watching Lisa Eldridge's YouTube tutorial for covering acne. She used this product on her model and I was amazed with the coverage, so I ordered it. I'm mega fair with pink undertones, and ordered 15 Opal, which was the lightest shade. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but mine made me look orangey. I applied it exactly the same way as Lisa Eldridge's video yet it still did not look right. This tube has sat in my makeup drawer for a long time because I prefer my Clinique advanced concealer in 01 Matte Light. It is cheaper and works better to me. Do not plan to repurchase this concealer.

BEST concealer ever for full coverage and long-lasting wear. I have oily skin, so it definitely says a lot about product performance if it's still in place at the end of a workday. A tiny little bit goes a looooong way, but the quantity dispensed is very easy to control. Despite quite a heavy texture, I've found it very easy to blend. I also appreciate the fact that it is truly matte and doesn't add any shine. I've never had issues with break-outs or any sort of irritation using it.
The coverage is nothing short of amazing. I somehow picked up a really nasty skin abscess due to a staph infection that took forever to heal, and this concealer made it much less noticeable -- there is nothing that would have made it completely invisible, but this hid a large area of redness really well.

This stuff works the best but make sure you cleanse and moisturize prior to use.
ALSO, this stuff is discontinued in certain stores but still sells at CVS and Duane Reade....nowhere online that I can find unfortunately since I try almost every weekend.
Please note: Manhattan CVS and Duane Reade stores sell this as I cannot find it outside in the outer boroughs of New York City.

This is really highly pigmented so a tube lasts forever. It stays well, blends well but the colour 20 Nude is just too yellow for my cool toned skin. I've had it for over a year and have tried to make it work but I'm finally ditching it in favour of EL DW concealer and Lancome Effarcense (sp?) which are nicely pigmented, don't crease too much and blend better with my skin tone.

I have this in my purse for urgent situations, for example if I forgot to put concealer on a part of my face, if a pimple pops out during the day, if I get redness around my nose, or if I cried and my undereyes are swollen, or if my concealer slid off during the day. I like the hygienic packaging and it assures me that I can only use the smallest quantity, as this product can get cakey really fast. Although it is from the Vichy Dermablend line, I still think that it is lacking compared to their liquid foundation or stick foundation. I much prefer the foundations as they can be sheered out and still covered as much as this one does. Compared to its counterparts, the lasting power of this concealer is rather bad. All in all, it's practical for small things, but I'd still choose the foundations before this one. I will not repurchase.

I have chronic dark circles and puffy eyes. Have always been looking for a product to get rid of them and or do a decent job covering it up.
Thanks to the previous reviews here telling us that this product will not be discontinued and will come in a stick format. I went to Vichy.com to check it out yesterday because Vichy.ca was down. You will see that they don't carry the previous concealer in a small pot and only the stick format which comes in 4 shades (or 5).
I have to say, this is a product that requires a bit of practice and once you get the hang of it, it does what it claims to do:
-staying power
-natural looking
-opaque concealing power for scars, veins, pimples, and under eye circles.
I usually apply lemon aid from benefit before putting this on. But due to the recent summer that just ended, I found that it did not stay on as well. Therefore, i dusted some power after dotting on lemon aid, then dabbing this concealer on and setting it again. If you have purchased this product and found it was ineffective after some time, you may want to dig it out of your makeup bag and try playing with a couple of different ways in setting it again, even setting it twice. I know I purchased this product last winter and there came a point where I thought this product wasn't as effective, but boy am I glad tried it out again.
Anyways, this will be a staple product in my makeup bag. I will try out the stick format but will bring this in to match since the shades are named differently.
Not sure if you girls have tried the cle de peau concealer that cost over 75 + tax. I heard it is so amazing. However, I am not sure if the person using it had this Vichy derma blend concealer to compare with. If anyone has tried the two, please post a review as it would helpful to compare the two.
Hope my review was helpful!

Okay, because this stuff lasts forever, which is awesome (and I use it every day) only now am I starting to run out, only to find out it's discontinued??? WTF? I'm traumatized. This is the only concealor to work on my hyperpigmented skin (due to acne breakouts). And I'm not talking little red marks -- I have tan skin somewhere between J.Lo's and Halle Berry's skin colour, so when I scar I scar DARK. Dark brown marks. Like I have chocolate smears on my face. Bad. This stuff lasts forever and yes does last all day! I think I was at a pool party and while I didn't dunk my head in, I did get splashed and the coverage remained!
So I was used to 30 Medium and what aggravates me is that the people at Vichy completely changed the number system for the new 'stick' concealor. I had to guess and sample and ended up buying 16 Bronze (in the stick). Found the phone number on the box and called, asked what the equivalent was to 30 Medium only to find out it is No.15 (Sand?). Just as an FYI to those of you who need a replacement for 30 Medium. If you are unsure call the customer service line.
So now I'm stuck with 16 Bronze but so far it looks good. It's only been a day and the coverage has been the same -- and while I love the stick idea I am a little uncertain as to the hygenic issue -- if I use a stick to cover a blemish, with I be spreading the bacteria around when I use the stick on another side of my face? Vichy claims it won't be an issue but -- we'll see. Stay tuned.
If you find this concealor anywhere, snag it. It is the only thing that really worked, regained my confidence, covered for a long time and will cover dark marks well. Yes it's expensive but it lasts forever so it's more than worth it.
Stay tuned for a review of the stick cover up -- hope it doesn't let me down. I will never understand why companies get rid of things that *work*.
Le sigh.

*****SHOPPERS ISNT DISCONTINUING THIS!!!!!!!!!! :) *****
I was soo happy. They are just getting rid of the one in the pot like container and have come out with the same thing but in stick form .. for like a dollar cheaper!
So this is my favorite concealer ever! I had bad acne growing up as a teen and have been left with some lovely scarring as a result. I have been searching high and low for a concealer that actually covered the scarring without having to load on a ton of coverup.
When I heard that shoppers was getting rid of it I rushed over to stock up only to find they didnt have my colour :( so the lady at the counter told me that they have replaced it with the same concealer but in a stick form ( soo much easier to put on! no more having to warm it up on your hand before slathering it on) so I got the stick version in Opal. It matches perfect, stays all day and doesnt change colour .. I dont even need a heavy cover up after i use this. I use some of this, blend ( it blends sooo easy!) and then use a tinted moisturizer and my skin looks amazing! so much better then what it looked like when i used other concelers and then coverup and then powder.
I use the covergirl nature luxe sometimes as well .. i find it a tad bit thick and find that im putting alot of powder on right after I use it. but thats another review.
All in all I would definetly recommend this to someone who has scaring or wants to cover dark circles .. it will become your new best friend. and since you dont have to use alot because theres so much pigment in it .. it will last you for awhile .. mine usually lasts me about 4 months.
I got it at shoppers for $32.00 + tax. not bad for something that works so well :)

I've never bought a concealor before, ithe s.a said vichy's a good brand and said my color was 40 tan. Maybe its a good thing its being discontinued bc it would turn orange on me after a couple of hours, it would also accentuate my dry patches. I'm asian with medium tone skin, maybe it was the color choice, but this did not conceal at all! I switched over to MAC's concealor in nc35. Covers waay better and stays true to color

****Shopper's in Canada is discontinuing this, so stock up while you can!!
EDIT: There seems to be some confusion about whether or not this is being discontinued. The product in the pot form may be being repackaged in stick format -- however, this is the FOUNDATION, not the concealer. You can see on the uploaded pic that the label on the round pot says "foundation".
The CONCEALER is the one that comes in a needle-nosed squeeze-tube. This is the one that's being reviewed below, and the one that's being discontinued. ****
I'm so sad I won't be able to get this anymore! This lightweight concealer blends like a dream, has high-but-natural-looking coverage, and is lightweight and long lasting. Total HG material. Even though it's 'cone-based, I've never ever had breakouts due to this even with daily use (and I do react when I use silicone/dimethicone-heavy primers/foundations for more than a couple days in a row). I don't know what I'll do when my little stockpile runs out... :(

I have combination, acne prone skin, with few post-acne marks and dark under eye circles. I saw this on sale for $12 at Jean coutu and decided to try it. I bought #30 medium which closely matches my asian, nc30-35 skin tone in winter. Since it is very pigmented, I only needed a pea size drop to cover my acne marks completely! I only spot cover areas as needed since the texture is thick and it dries to a matte finish. I don't find it cakes unless you apply to much and it lasts all night. I work 12 hr nights so i should know! So far it hasn't caused any breakouts and on the website they mentioned it was non-comegenic. It also covers my undereyecircles but it might be a bit drying so I strongly recommend applying moisturizer first. Overall, I'm impressed and would buy this again!

If I can give this concealer 6 stars, I would.
I've been looking around for an eye lid primer/base and this is perfect for that.
My review is for using it in that purpose. Color:Nude , purchased at CVS pharmacy, in light tube packaging that is highly practical & sanitary.
I thought I'd never be 40 yrs old or have my eye lid skin be less than taut but, yeah I'm so there now, lol. I feel self conscious about accentuating them with frosty eye shadows or dry/caking primer/base so my quest for the best eye primer began in earnest.
What I've found in the market were : Benefit , MAC (Paint Pot --Soft Ochre)or UDP, all too cakey and accentuated the slight crepe like texture of my eye lids. I've applied them all, walked around and reviewed under store lights as well as natural lights.
This Dermablend concealer need to be applied very sparingly as it's pigmented heavily ( Dermablend is known for heavy pigment concentration in their makeup). When used as primer/shadow base, it works beautifully; it gives good coverage with softness and blends well with shadows ( dry or creamy shadows). I find the key in this is to dot a very, very small amount across the lids and gently tap with finger to blend. Great staying power and helps to keep eye shadows in their place all day. It has Dimethicone ( Silicone ) & nylon that makes it smooth, flexible/elasticity with good color coverage without making my lids look like drought ridden/parched earth ;)
This is my HG eye lid primer and since I use very little per application due to high pigment of the product, 0.5 FL OZ will last me a while.

PROS: This concealer is AWESOME for covering dark circles! Its 100% opaque and covers everything. I have really bad dark circles and it works really well.
Also, it lasts for a very long time. I've had mines for over 3 months now. I use it once everyday.
CONS: The only downside to this, is that it is very thick. I do not recommend anyone to use this to cover up blemishes/pimples as it will clog your pores and possibly create breakouts/ enlarge pores

I'm Chinese with a yellow undertone and has relatively fair skin tone for an Asian. Of course, not quite as fair as Caucasians who tend to have a pink undertone. I tried this concealer in 20 Nude and it was close to my skin tone, but still a little golden. It would probably be a good foundation color but for concealing, I thought going a little bit lighter would be better. However, 10 Light turned out to be too light and it made blemishes appear ashy. I figured if 10 Light was meant for fair Caucasian skin tones, it probably isn't the right choice for me anyway.
In the end, I decided to go with 20 Nude and I mix it with Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in light.
I think Dermablend is better for concealing blemishes rather than dark circles because of it's thick, creamy texture. It covers blemishes really well as the thickness doesn't spread across the blemish and dissolve into nothing. Of course it's not a miracle and can appear noticeable under the sun or on extreme close-up but this concealer is as close as we can get to a miracle.
The rule of thumb: Moisturize before using this concealer.

I really wanted to love this, but it's definitely not my favourite mainly because i find it really hard to blend and it's also fairly thick. I generally dot concealer on my problem areas and with dermablend i would have to immediately blend it in or else it would set very quickly and be very difficult to remove. A plus side is that it does provide a good amount of coverage. Despite this, however, i don't think i'll repurchase.

About 1/2 way through a tube ( expensive) that seems like it willl last forever.
Very good, opaque coverage for under eyes.
Use a small brush to pat in- it does make a difference.
A creamy liquid that dries to a matte finish , staying on all day.
Stays on so well, you need a good makeup remover to get it off.
Highly pigmented, so a tiny, tiny amount goes a very long way.
I have other concealers, in creams, mouse, mineral powder, but I always come back to this one.

At first I thought I was in love with this product. The consistency is very blendable, and the converage is amazing.
However, I started to realize that when I put this product on blemishes, I have a big scar from a rash on the side of my face, my skin looks wonderful if I don't move, but the part with concealer wrinkles up when I smile or talk or ...... So this product does become hard, it is probably fine on areas where the skin doesn't stretch but not on the face portion that moves.

Got this while I was in europe based on the good reviews, and while the coverage was nice, it seemed to amplify the bumpy/active acne and pimples i was trying to cover up and just ended up looking cakey. However, my skin has cleared considerably since then, and I just came across it and tried it to coverup the hyperpigmentation as a result of acne, and its AMAZING. i've been using the revlon color stay concealer, but the coverage is semi-sheer and it just ended up making my scars look darker and gives my face a dark cast. The dermablend really covers up the pigmentation and is easy to apply (i just used my fingers and pat on). i used to revlon color stay foundation over it and today I can honestly say that my skin looks pretty. yay :)

I absolutely LOVE this concealer. It works wonders for my acne scars. I use it after applying my foundation, and then set it with a powder. It doesn't move on you, and it lasts throughout the day. It's a bit dry for under the eyes, but if you use a primer it works great there too!
