This is incredible lip balm. My lips feel the smoothest they've been in a long time after using it for one day. I like it even better than Fresh's lip balms that retail for more than 10x the price of this. It goes on smooth and clear and tastes nice. It has a smell, but I personally like it. It really helped moisturise my lips to a point where there is not a single dry patch on them. The packaging is nice, with a roll-up configuration, much like Fresh's packaging. In fact, both product and packaging-wise it is probably the closest you will get to Fresh. I like this better, though. I docked a packaging lippie, but for $3 it is still great. This is my favourite lip balm to date.

This stuff is GREAT. You don't see many drug store lip balms with ingredients like CoQ10 and SPF 15, especially at this price. It's smooth and non-greasy. It's sweet but to me the taste is really just like plain white sugar: very neutral and unobtrusive. The product is off white but goes on clear.

I believe Blistex claims that this will make your lips bigger. And for me it has. However, let me explain: my lips have just been dry dry dry from wearing nothing but lipstick all winter and they were just constantly shriveled from being dehydrated. I think using Deep Renewal several times throughout the day has held the moisture in my lips, and maybe benefitted them to some degree with the CoQ10. I don't for a second believe that it actually enlarged my lips. More like it just made them healthy, smooth and plump again. (Or at least as plump as my lips are ever gonna get :- {} )

It's just the most effective balm I've used to date, and that's partly because it's just feels so good. I hate when you feel like you just have tons of glop on your lips and have to be careful you don't touch your lips and get your hair in it. It doesn't call attention to itself and goes great under other products. When a product works great, but I just hate the way it feels, it ultimately doesn't matter how much good it does for me; I'll just stop using it sooner or later. But when something is a pleasure to use it just makes it that much better. Thank you, Blistex!

I honestly thought that this product was going to be good for my lips but its not. The taste is awful. Too waxy. I hate the yellow color. And it doesn't feel cool on my lips. It burns them. Certainly not buying it again.

I love this product!! I have multiple ones around the house and in my purse so I have one at all times. There must be some ingredient that adversely affects some uses because this product is far from drying!

My lips have been really chapped this winter and my usual products haven't been able to fix it. I bought this yesterday and used it a few times throughout the day. It's definitely working; my lipstick went on much smoother today.

But I'd say this is more of a lip moisturizer than a lip balm. I swear it's absorbed almost immediately and it feels like it's just gone. I don't know how much it would protect, exactly, because it really doesn't feel like regular lip balm.

I didn't have any irritation, but this product contains several chemical sunscreens. A lot of people are sensitive to one or more of them.

I really didn't like this. The packaging sounded so convincing and it made me choose this over Burts or other better products. When I got it and tried it, it didn't do much at all. It gave me a terrible taste in my mouth and it didn't even attempt to make my lips moisterizing and ''Renewed''

They reformulated it to contain avobenzone, now it has broad spectrum UVA protection! I love this product it's light and buttery and softens my lips.

I really love this stuff. I have super dry lips for some reason, and they are always cracked and I always have to exfoliate them or else my lipstick settles into my lines and whatnot. :/ I was at 7 11 (lol) and I saw this. I have been on the hunt for a good lip balm/chapstick. The only other lip product that has been good enough or moisturizing is the EOS Lip Balm. I haven't been able to pick it up anywhere, but thankfully I got this by chance. I love it! It is super soft, not waxy or greasy at all, and after wearing it for only one day my lips feel much softer and more plump. I haven't had any adverse reactions thankfully. This is also thin enough to wear under lipsticks without altering the desired effect.

I bought a tube a couple of weeks ago and use it 3-4 times a day. My lips feel great. My nine year old has used it on herself as well with no problems. I'm in South Florida and applied it before I got to the beach. A great sunblock. It's soft, smooth and smells fine. I plan on using this for a while.

I'm a big believer in Blistex products, but this stuff is a major FAIL. It makes my lips peel and dry out. I tried it a few months ago and had that reaction, so I stupidly put it away, and didn't throw it away. I took it out a few days ago and gave it another shot. Same issue. Totally ruins my lips. It's in the trash. I'm not making that mistake again.

I really like this for the summer! It makes me lips feel really smooth while protecting them from the sun. It has SPF 15 which is great for days on the beach. I am South Asian and a day at the beach makes my lips darker. I would not say it is hands down my favorite lip balm but this product is definitely up there on my list mostly due to the SPF it contains. I'm not too crazy about the smell, it smells sort of..odd.

I just bought this today and have used it twice and my lips are like BUTTAH. I love the scent and the feel on my lips, and it leaves a beautiful gloss and brings out the natural pink in my lips. Will repurchase again when i run out!

WOW...
Glad to hear it wasn't just me. This product is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Simply awful. Like many of the previous reviews, this product left my lips extremely dry after 2 days of use. My lips were so dry that they cracked and bled for a few minutes.

Blistex products are usually very good which is why i'm very disappointed with Deep Renewal. The Blistex needs to remove this from the shelves ASAP. HORRIBLE product.

Needless to say, I will never buy this again and will definitely warn my friends & family about it.

Yikes! It seems like I'm in the minority, but this is my FAVORITE lip balm. I've tried a lot of them, trying to see which one would work best for me and this one is IT. I haven't had the bad reaction some are having. It applies smoothly, doesn't taste horrible, and makes my lips very, very soft. The only problem I have with it is the packaging- the cap can come off quite easily. I'd rather it snap in place more snugly.

The first couple of days I used this, I absolutely loved it! It went on smooth, felt and even tasted good. After that, my lips felt dry, no matter how much/often I applied. I thought perhaps it was the change in weather (I was on an extended vacation in Ohio and went from cooler temps to Indian summer then to much cooler). It has been 1 month and I am discontinuing use -- my lips are red, dry, irritated, and hurting. Don't know if it is related, but I am hypothyroid, have an adrenal imbalance, as well as other autoimmune disorders.

There's something very wrong with this product!

I really liked it the first few times I used it. It went on smooth and the smell was kind of nice (but not wonderful).

After about 12 hours of using it, reapplying every couple hours, it's given me a bad taste in my mouth and my lips are VERY dry in spite of being slathered with the product. Also my lips are tingling and not in a good way.

It seems like about half of the people here are have a similar reaction. I wish I had seen these reviews BEFORE I bought this product.

Interesting - from the reviews below this seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it product. For me, it's love it. I bought my first tube of this on a road trip when the sun and the car's AC conspired to give me the worst case of chapped lips I've ever had (and I've lived in winter-desert climates!). Since then I keep a tube in my bag and at home and replace them anytime I think they might be running low. I like that it's not too thick and waxy, like most lip balms with SPF - instead it's a very lightweight feeling balm. And I love that it's a tube instead of a pot, because I can reapply on the go without worrying about the product becoming unsanitary. I really find it works wonderfully to heal & prevent severely chapped lips. Because of the sunscreen, I wouldn't use it on open sores or cracks -- Polysporin first, THEN this. I've tried almost every lip product out there, and this is the best with sun protection I've found.

This is absolutely terrible! I bought this hoping it would just be a decent lip balm that I could use at work. The first day I used it it was fine. The second day (today) was terrible! It totally dries out my lips. It just sits on top, never sinking in. So I keep rubbing my lips together trying to rub it it, but it never happens. When it eventually wears off my lips are SO dry. Painfully dry. I'm developing a sore in the middle of my bottom lip. I don't know if it's because of my lips being horridly dry all day from wearing this or because of a reaction to the product, but it's not fun. And the taste! UGH!!! It tastes HORRIBLE! I've used lip balms that smelled weird but still had no taste...no idea why this has to taste nasty. Maybe mine went bad? But when I got home I used my CVS brand crap-o smelling (yet tasteless) 99 cent lip balm and hours later, my lips are still moisturized despite the product wearing off and having eaten and drank. Save yourself $3 and buy something other than this!
