This gloss wears off too quickly and requires constant reapplying. If it was slightly longer lasting, I would repurchase.

These were on sale for 99 cents the other day, so I decided what the heck! I'm glad I didn't pay anything more for it. The color was nice (I can't remember the name, but it is a nice frosty pink), but as has been mentioned before, the applicator is rubbish. It also went on very cakey, and within five minutes started flaking off. It just looked awful. I'm going to give it another shot...maybe mix it with just a dab of eye cream to make it smoother, but I won't purchase again. At least I'm only out a dollar!

I have this product in Jade, and while it's pretty bad as an eyeshadow, it's not completely unusable. Yes, believe everything you've been told about the applicator. It's total rubbish, so use your finger (or a Q-tip, I suppose) to apply the shadow. Also, you can click the darn thing a hundred times and nothing comes out, and then there's a huge gush of shadow. Arghhh! This particular color is not very flattering on me--I can't wear pale eyeshadows in general--and it feels kind of weird on my eyelids. The only way I can make any use of this stuff is as a highlighter on my browbone (where it shows up more gold than green) or very lightly on my cheeks for a touch of shimmer on those no-blush days. This product is actually quite good for those particular uses, but once I've used it up I won't be buying another. Jane, Jane, how could such a good cosmetics company come out with such a terrible product?

I really love this eyeshadow..it is my current favorite. The applicator it comes with that they tell you to use is useless..don't use it. I am not including that in my overall review, just the quality of the shadow. The shadow is cream to powder, and it goes on well with your finger, blending it along your eyelid. It dries soon, to a velvety powder. I have this in: blue (ocean groove), purple (periwink), white (vanilla Pearl), and brown (Suede). I like it the best in white (vanilla Pearl) on my blue eyes and cool toned skin, and recommend buying that color first. However, I bought blue (ocean groove) first and still bought a second one...all colors I have are very pretty. the brown (suede) is pretty and polished looking, and the purple (periwink) luminescent. I really love these, and would buy others!! Well worth the $4 price.

I just picked this up in Jade (a mint green color). It has a cool gold iridescence to it. I was going for a fresh celery spring color and I think I have found it.

I recommend NOT using the applicator. Instead, put a decent amount on your finger tip and pat it on the eye. This stuff dries after a few seconds and I recommend putting on another layer - just in case.

This is a fun, cheap liquid shadow but if you are looking for high quality and super-long lasting...go for the MAC paints.

Got this in "Ocean Groove" - frosty/pearly light blue color.

Hrm.

Okay so it's cheap.

Hrm.

It's cheap. And for cheap it's good. But you have to kinda sorta 'work with it' a lil. The applicator is clumsy. You click click and nothing comes out. When something finally 'does' come out it's way too much for one eye. (Unless you have super-big eyes I guess) This is where it clumps. See it dries pretty fast. So you gotta be quick on the trigger, er, finger, er... qtip WHATEVER but not (I repeat not!) the applicator because remember - TOO MUCH came out. So you'll just pile more on.

Um okay. Say you get an advance degree in cosmetology and actually get it to blend right. Dude where's my pigment? I don't know how the other colors are - but with Ocean Groove you're left with a "white glittery/shimmery" color. The blue is really barely noticeable. (Unless you layer it, but that brings us back to the "Clump Theory")

Okay I'm probably making it sound MUCH worse than it is... I'm just letting you know there are some pretty significant drawbacks, but when you look at the PRICE, really it's a great way to experiment with different colors and to 'start out' (and hell if you can master this, you are an official black-belt in ANY cream shadow)

I really LIKE this eyeshadow, but only in SUEDE. I agree that it spews out sometimes, and I have tried all the other colors and won't be using THEM again (thank goodness they were cheap buys!). But the SUEDE really works well for me and my blue eyes. SOmetimes I use it for a light daytime look. Other times I apply several layers of it for more color, or as someone else mentioned, it doubles as a base for other shadows. I give it a thumbs ups for all of the above, and it's quick to put on. Hope they continue to make it!

I was really excited about trying this out when I saw it in Target, but I'm sorry ... it royally sucks. I can't believe I wasted my money on it!

I bought the "fabulizer" in Reverse Ruby, which looks really nice in the tube. However, when I was getting ready to apply it, I twisted the bottom of the tube several times and nothing came out. Waited and tried again. Then a huge string of it comes out at once ... it was really annoying to have wasted that much at first, just because of the crappy applicator, but I wiped off the excess and tried applying it directly to my eyelids.

It went on very unevenly and soon completely dried out so I looked like I'd just glued some hard, dry glitter to my eyelids. Huge disappointment! Overall a good idea, but I would NOT recommend this product AT ALL.

I like this product because it is so quirky. I like the coolness of the shadow and can get the shadow to blend well. The applicators are a waste of time though- use your fingers. I like the tube but I think overall, the bonne belle versions are of slightly higher quality. D.xx

I got this in a swap and I wasn't pleased. It creases easily and it feels cold and uncomfortable on your eyes. Difficult to blend and it hardly shows up. Still, I do reach for it occasionally to add sheer shimmer to my eyes to make them stand out a bit more. But overall not a good product.

I have this item in Suede, which is a warm taupe. Goes on smooth and stays on for hours. A very nice and inexpensive creamy shadow. Well done, Jane.
UPDATE: As other reviewers have said, use too little and get no colour payoff; use too much and risk clumping, creasing and flaking. I would not repurchase.

I have this in Periwink, the lavendar color. The color is very sheer and if I don't build it up enough it just looks like I didn't get a good night's rest. It is pretty if you layer it on properly, though. Another strike against it, I HATE the packaging, it has to be the most unsanitary applicator in the world. I release the product and then dab it onto a cosmetic q-tip. Even though this was cheap, there are better things out there.

These are terrible--they barely go on my lids and stick to my fingers instead. They are hardly pigmented and hardly last an hour. Yuck.

I only bought this b/c it was 50% off. I got it in Reverse Ruby and I really like the colour. I don't like how it feels on my lids though. I put it on, maybe 10 minutes ago and it still feels wet. I wish it would dry already.
