I purchased this at Sally's for $7 because of the wonderful warm vanilla scent, great ingredients, the way it absorbed into my skin, and the way it softened my skin! I didn't know they promote this in tanning salons - that is definately NOT my thing, but this stuff is fab as a body lotion. It smells like bath & body works warm vanilla sugar or vanilla sugar fantasy. I hate the tacky packaging with the giant pot leaf on the front, but the stuff inside is heaven IMO.

I really really love this product! It absorbs really fast and leaves my skin more moisturized than anything I've used. The ingredient list looks pretty good, and I think I got mine for 8 dollars. The bottle should last a while, and I'll certainly buy for a while to come. The smell is a bit off, but it's virtually undetectable 20 minutes after I use it, and it's light to begin with, so that's really inconsequential. I really recommend getting a mini bottle next time you're at Sally's, I think they're all worth a try!

I didn't find this moisturizing at all. It just sat on the skin. Tanning beds are so bad for your health; I wouldn't promote using this product for that purpose.

RATS...they discontinued this in the Autumn of 2010!

The Moist brand is carried at Sally Beauty Supply and there is a variety of scents for around $7. They come in 18 fl oz rectangular pump bottles with an overlay of shrink-plastic graphics. They also come in convenient, 2 oz. flip cap travel/tester size bottles for around $2. They are manufactured by Moist Products Company, aka Creative Laboratories, Inc., of Eagen, Minnesota. This is the same company that manufactures the "Malibu" brand sold at Wal-mart. This company does no animal testing.



Moist Hemp French Vanila Body Moisturizer, packaged in a mostly beige and tan and light green plastic pump bottle, is a medium-weight, off-white, somewhat gel-consistency lotion that contains many ingredients that lotions and creams many more times its price contain. It is a fabulous moisturizer that contains no petrolatum or mineral oil (undesirable barrier ingredients, in my opinion). It contains powerful antioxidants, etc., like THC-Free Hempseed Oil and Green Tea Extract.



I do wish that it came in an bottle with a flip-cap opening at the bottom instead of a pump, but that is a minor thing. The sweet vanilla fragrance scent is moderate in strength, but muche less strong than Malibu Sweet Scents varieties, which I like. I love the risidual vanilla fragrance which is very similar to, but a bit stronger than, my HG variety of this product, the White Tea Hemp Body Body Moisturizing Creme Gel, but it was sadly discontinued in fall of 2007. This product leaves skin very soft and moisturized. Although this is very, very good, I preferred the White Tea variety because that variety has many more beneficial ingredients and the even milder scent that I preferred. This is a good alternative to the White Tea variety, and I am so glad I found it! However, the White Tea Creme Gel Body Moisturizer variety is my new Holy Grail body lotion!



INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua), Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Aluminum Starch Octenyl Succinate, Hempseed Oil (Cannabis sativa), Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Vanilla fruit extract (Vanilla planafolia), Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum), Jojoba Oil (Buxus chinesis), Sunflower Seed Oil (Helianthus annuus), Olive Oil (Olea europaea), Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), Green Tea Extract (Camellia oleifera), Calendula Officinalis Extract, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Tetrasodium EDTA, Triethanolamine, Carbomer, Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, BHT, Liquid Caramel, Fragrance, Citric Acid.
