I bought the tinted moisturizer, and it matches decent well with my medium Asian skin tone, but this product aggravates my skin. My face burns and itches, and I get raised itchy patches every time I have used this. Unfortunately, it doesn't agree with my skin, so it is impossible for me to use.

I've been on the hunt for a tinted moisturizer that actually 1) moisturizes 2) provides some skin benefits 3) contains SPF 4) doesn't make me look like an oompa loompa, and so far, this is the winner. Now, I'm looking for SOME level of coverage, but my expectation is that the product's primary job is to moisturize, and secondarily cover (hence the word "tint"). This does all of those things, and I can buy it at Target or from Amazon (free shipping with Amazon Prime). My only beef is that the whole "spiral" thing is a little silly - like, the products wouldn't work just as well blended? - oh well. Been using it for a few weeks now and my skin is happy. Hooray!

I have been using this product for about a year and I love it. I have dry skin so I put on my regular day cream, layer one pump of this product over that, spot treat with concealer, and finish with a thin layer of powder. My face looks great with this regime.

I love this product!

Bought this today at Kroger - on sale for $3.00 so I couldn't resist.

Not very moisturizing at all. Almost zero coverage. I initially tried it on my face - a generous amount - and you couldn't tell except for a light sheen.

Not moisturizing enough to use at all on my face, even underneath my makeup, so I'll be using it on the back of my hands since it's got actives and they need ss. On my hands you can't tell it has any tint to it.

I am using the fair/light. My skin is light and whenever i put this on, my face looks dull and tired. and i don't feel it really socking into my skin. instead it stays there on the surface with a bad smell. never again.

I'm on a mission to find my perfect tinted moisturizer. I used to use Laura Mercier's oil-free one and it is just too thick and suffocating for me. Feels more like a foundation. So I have gone out and bought a variety of tinted moisturizers available at CVS and Target.

Olay Definity Color Recapture SPF 15 felt like the right consistency when I put it on. But then it took *hours* for it to sink in. I have combination skin, but it is definitely drier this winter. Not dry enough, apparently.

So after it finally sank in, I checked it out in the mirror. VERY, very light coverage and tint. I can agree that there might be a little orangieness to it. I have some melasma, most noticeable on my forehead and on my cheekbones beneath my eyes. It is fading, but I was hoping this would help even out my skin tone. It did not. But what's worse, I had red blotches that weren't there before I put the moisturizer on! They appeared mostly around my mouth area. I felt the littlest bit of tingling when I put it on, but nothing like the burning sensation other's have spoken of. I tried correcting cream & powder. Nothing helped. I finished putting the rest of my makeup on and wore it for most of the day. It never looked particularly good.

I took it off a bit early (around dinner time) because I was so disgusted. Here's the crazy thing, when I took it off (with my Boots No. 7 facial wipes) THEN it started burning and tingling a bit more intensely. Even now, my cheeks feel kind of feverish.

Olay usually has quality product that, even if I'm not wowed by it, it mostly does its job. Not this one. The packaging is cool and I admit it drew me in. But nothing is going to get me to use this on my face again! Back to Target you go, Olay.

I was excited to try this product as I love all the Olay products. I had been using Clarins tinted moisturizer but didn't want to spend that kind of money again.
Don't use this!!! It burned my face! I look like I had an acid peel.

I will spend the money on Clarins again!

I am 53 and have skin on the dry sensitive side. I can use maybe 90 percent of the products I buy. I had high hopes for this light product.
Within 3 minutes of putting it on my face I started turning beet red!! And burning !!!!
Washed it off immediately and still red and burning. If you have sensitive skin - Watch Out.

While I was generally pretty happy with this product, I don't think I'm going to buy it again because I believe there are better tinted moisturizers out there. The texture was a little thick and as some other reveiwers noted, it can streak and ball a bit when it's warm out. The color is also a bit off, not quite as orangey as others found, but it's not the best either. I didn't see any changes in my skin after using it for a few months, so I can't say it's particularly skin-improving.

One of my favorite things about this product is the unique tube/bottle/whatever disguises its liquidity. Which means I can toss it in my carry-on bag by itself and leave more room for other liquids in my ziplock when I go through airport security. So I'm keeping it around for travel but am hunting for a better product to use at home.

I love this stuff! I have incredibly dry skin. I've been using this product for over six months. I can tell that my skin is looking and feeling better. I love that it is so rich and hydrating. It is lightly tinted, and you can wear it with or without foundation. It is around $20 for a bottle. I feel like my complexion is dewy and glowing when I wear this moisturizer. Will definitely purchase again! (The night restorative cream in the Definity series is also wonderfully hydrating...and smells nice, too.)

I actually like this product. It doesn't irritate my skin and doesn't exentuate my dryness/flakiness like most other foundations do. Mind you, I got this on sale for much less than the normal price, which definitely helps. I don't think I would pay full price for it.

I love this product as a primer under my Estee Lauder DoubleWear (in Wheat.. Summertime, I wear Soft Tan) Anyway, love this as it goes on smoothly and luminously. I feel like my skin is being pampered with a healthy does of Olay care. Often times, after I shower, I simply use this to freshen my look, add a little Bronzer (Estee's Bronze Goddess) and I'm off to run errands. I was lucky and bought this at a 75% discount at my Walgreens- great deal- one left (sells for $29.99!) I advise though to use sparingly, a little goes a long way.

Unless you are a pumpkin, Light will not match your skin tone. It pills and streaks. It is so shiny that it spotlights every facial flaw. It does not cover even minor imperfections. The chemical sunscreen burnt my eyes. If you are attracted by the packaging, which makes it look like soft serve ice cream, then at least purchase from a discount store. Quo, Lancome, and Revlon make tinted moisturizers in the same price range that are much more effective and do not turn orange.

Age: 44-55   Skin: Combination, Olive   Hair: Brunette   Eyes: Hazel

I am 53 yrs & have olive skin that isn't sensitive at all. I have dark splotches and marks that disappear when I am tan, and tan only using SPF 4 or less. I do not tan AT ALL with anything more, but use a 15 on my nose and cheeks only. I also have some discoloration due to discoid lupus. I use a very gritty exfoliation scrub once a day with a buff-puff.

First off, this product isn't meant as a full cover foundation, and that's exacty what I wanted. I am sick of heavy coverage that melts and feels heavy, and then cakey when I add a powder finish. I have come to terms with not having perfect skin, but wanted something to blend the lighter of the dark areas with the rest of my face.

You must not use too much (remember it's not a full coverage makeup) and must blend quickly, or you will get little "pills" of product. This isn't hard to do at all, as it glides nicely and isn't oily at all I have used this product now for 2 weeks and I absolutely can't wait to put it on! My husband noticed subtle differences - I don't look so tired and worn and a little less wrinkly. So now I use a very light application on my neck too! I notice my skin feels smoother too. Note please that I was skeptical of this product so I am not just thinking that.

I follow this product with a very light mineral powder of another brand - one that's brush applied but in a cake form, that changes color to match. These two products work wonderfully together and are very very light to wear.

As to color, for me I use the medium to dark and it matches perfectly. I have always had a problem matching my olive tone, so this makes me even happier! I am hoping that it will work with a tan as well.

For special occasions, under everything, I use a filler purchased at Bed & Bath ($25/jar) that I need to use for pock marks left by my lupus. Using Definity over that works very well too and again, no oily creases or cakiness at all.

And yes, the packaging is very cool. Just be sure to pump a little bit in one hand and use a finger to blend before applying.

One girl mentioned cysts forming after use of this. I have always had cysts but have not had any new breakouts since using this product.

So overall I ended up loving Definity and despite the price, will purchase it again. I'll bet by the time I need more I will feel that it's so worth it anyway.

I wanted to love this because I really like the olay products- specifically their plain old pink moisturizer. This product goes on well- very easy pump action, with a small portion dispensed so you dont waste it. The color is a good match for my skin- and even though the price is high for a drug store product- I used coupons etc to make it more reasonable.

Then came the storm. My skin began to break out in DEEP cystic acne and would not clear up for weeks. It was amazing to me how my usually clear skin would just go bonkers when I used this product- and unfortunatly the benefit to my skin was not enough to counterbalance the awful breakouts I got as a result.

This stuff doesn't look natural at all. Its thick and hard to blend. It also gets all over everything- the collar of your top, jewelry, etc. Just ruins it.

I could copy and past the review by barbie7034 as it is exactly what I experienced. I tried this for the first time today and by this evening my face is now red and burning!! I'm even concerned that I got some on one of my eyes as its been bothering me all night...feels swollen and burns slightly. I also have a group of bumps on my forehead. I'm praying tomorrow it will be much less red and the burning will be gone....but I'm not real hopeful.

This is great as a primer for me. It is too dark and too yellow even in the lightest shade for me to use on its own. The color doesn't match and doesn't flatter my fair, rosy skin. However, I use Estee Lauder DoubleWear foundation, which tends to be heavy if you're not careful, and with this tinted moisturizer as a primer, my DoubleWear glides right over it, so I end up using less foundation. The combination of products gives a dewy matte finish with good coverage that I'm really enjoying.

If the color was good for me, I would surely wear it by itself on the weekends running errands. Please, Olay, make a lighter and pinker shade!

I was really hoping to like this moisturizer! I have uneven skin tone and I normally wear foundation but I hate wearing makeup every single day especially while running a few errands or hanging around the house. I'm one of those women who can't be seen without makeup. If this product was less than 10 bucks I wouldn't even bother writing this review. I just wanted to warn people who have any acne scars or red type of discoloration. This will not cover any of these flaws! It sucks because I loved the pump itself and the way the moisturizer went on my face. It doesn't leave any streaks or orange like spots. My skin is very sensitive and acne prone and this stuff didn't seem to affect my skin so that's another reason why I'm so upset it didn't give me any coverage whats so ever! If you have a good complexion and just want a nice moisturizer that hides minor flaws this may be your dream tinted moisturizer. I wish it was mine!
