At night i wash my face twice, dry it, and then put the toner on a cotton pad. I first dab it on my face then go in circular motions. This toner has reduced the bumpy texture of my face and takes off leftover residue. I really like it and rated it a 4 because its the second toner i've used. I would repurchase but would also like to try new toners.

I have been using this for about a month now, after switching to something a little stronger for the cold months. During winter my normal skin becomes extremely dry and breaks out. This has definitely stopped me from breaking out, but there are some downsides. First, this stuff burns like crazy. It has an extremely strong smell, which I like but it would probably bad for someone who has sensitive skin. After I use this my skin gets red and patchy for a few hours after but that goes down after awhile. I can't use this every day or it over dries my face, so on days I don't use it I just use an alcohol free ph balancing toner. It minimizes pores and really gets the gunk out. I wash my face twice a day and whenever I use this I still see makeup that my face wash didn't get. Its not very expensive, although it is a bit more expensive than competitor products. The packaging is good. Exactly what you would expect, but the angle of the cap will let you get the last few drops out. I will be buying this again, but I might not need another bottle until next winter.

This product has really helped my acne! My face is getting clear! LOL.

Pros:
-get dirt/left over makeup out
-Easy to use
-Controls Acne
-Helps minimize pores

Cons:
-It does sting quite a bit so try not to press so hard.

Its definitely worth a try.

Pros:
pretty inexpensive
really helps control oil production
cleans face well (I use this after my Neutrogena make-up removing wipes and it takes off any remaining makeup or oil/dirt)
easily available (I get mine up at my local Wal-Mart)
prevents future acne (by controlling oil production)
helps to get rid of existing acne (dries up any current zits and helps them heal faster)

Cons:
can be drying if used too often (I wouldn't recommend using this every day if you have dry skin)
stings if used on existing acne (because it contains alcohol and salicylic acid)
bottle doesn't last a very long time (I use this about once or twice a day, so I making my way through the bottle pretty quick. This doesn't really bother me because of the affordable price.)

Overall: This is the best toner I have used to date! I have seen quite a bit of improvement in my acne and oil production since I started using it. Also it is a great value for the price.

This was the only thing I changed in my regimen and it made my skin get super oily! Is that weird?! I found my oil production to by higher and makeup to wear away faster. I'm going to keep on trying it though :) Makes my skin feel fresh and supple after use. Will update :)

** Now that I think of it drying of the skin results in over production of oil to compensate for hydration loss. So perhaps this product did just that... tried out my skin a lot and caused significant amounts of oil.

Will continue to test this out.

Love Love Love this product. Now, I don't have acne or anything like that.(Thank the lawd for good genes) The only time I get a pimple is during that time of the month But sometimes not even at that time. You know how most toners carry that unbearable alcohol smell well you dont have to worry about that with this toner. It smells like cucumbers ↖(^ω^)↗ And another plus about this product, is that you don't even need a lot, which I love. So I will most definitely purchase again.

I have been using this product to keep my acne and pimples at bay. You can really feel it working as soon as you put it on, you get this tingly feeling.

Pro:
Keep acne at bay
Controls oil

Con:
leaves a shiny face even though not oil

Would purchase again.

While I tend to have fairly clear skin, I do get the occasionally (painful!) pimple and my complexion is sort of uneven, not to mention oily. I've only been using this product for two weeks, but I've already seen great results! My skin truly looks clearer and more even than ever before, and I think this toner also does the unspoken job of healing my face post-pimple. It's great, considering the low price!


However, my concern is this: after a few hours, my skin actually seems to be more oily than usual, despite the amount of alcohol in the product and its "oil-free" claims. It's strange! Perhaps it's overcompensating for initial dryness that I don't notice. But I don't think it's enough to keep me from using it, because I really love the newfound brightness in my complexion.


(As for the overpowering smell many have complained about? I find that using less of the product on my cotton pad reduces the fumes considerably.)

I have very oily skin in the summer so I thought that this product might work to dry my oily skin and clear up my breakouts. I have read lots of good reviews about this product so I bought it! Let me tell you that I have been using lots of products. I was desperate to get rid of my horrid pimples. This product works miricles. This cleared up all my skin imperfections and now people stop me and ask how do you get your skin so perfect! I love love this product! Buy it now!! The only bad thing was the smell..it smells nice but it is a little strong.

I am now on my second bottle of this stuff!

Before buying this, I hadn't even known what a toner was! After doing some research I decided this was a good place to start since it was relatively cheap and the woman working at Ulta said it worked wonders on her skin!

This has salicylic acid in it, which my skin prefers over BP. I don't find this to be overly drying and it does pick up nasty gunk that my face wash left behind.

I LOVE the way this smells! It has a medical-ness to it that I don't find horribly off-putting (I'm not normally a fan of hospitals or the way they smell *shudder*) the smell also fades within a few seconds once it dries, which it does very quickly.

With the SA in it, I do find it helps to keep my breakouts at bay.

Overall I really like it and will continue to buy more in the future!

Before I started using this, I didn't use a toner, but I think this was a perfect start. Since I started using it the amount of acne that I get has really died down. I went from having little tiny bumps all over my forehead plus huge pimples to only having one large pimple at a time to having no acne. I have never been able to keep my skin acne free for as long as I have now, using this product. It did take time for it to really work for me, but I'm glad that I have it. I have sensitive skin and it didn't excessively dry or irritate it My only complaint is the smell and the packaging, it spills often when I try to pour it out.
My use: I apply it on a cotton pad and rub it all over my face. It stung a tiny bit and made my skin feel really tight the first time I used it, but my skin got used to it. I use this with a gel-type prodcut from the same line and Zapzyt spot on acne control. I was wowed. Would definitely buy again!

I'm a little ashamed to admit that before I started using this two weeks ago, I was someone who never used toner, it was a product I never saw any use for and didn't see any point in wasting time and money on an extra step in my skincare routine. But, now I am totally hooked! I use this once a day, at night after I take my makeup off and wash my face, I pour a little bit on an "exfoliating" cotton round and massage my t-zone and any breakouts with the exfoliating side, then go over the rest of my face except my eye area with the other side. It makes my face feel very smooth and clean and in combination with the matching face wash I've noticed my skin tone evening out, the pores on my nose shrinking and the breakouts I do get are smaller and heal much faster. The only downside to this product for me is that I find it to be a little drying, my skin definitely feels tight after I use it, but with my night cream I don't notice my skin being any drier than usual. I've seen some complaints about the packaging, I don't have any trouble with this spilling or getting more than I need out of the bottle, I just gently tip it over above my cotton round, don't turn it completely upsidown or squeeze the bottle. I also love that this is lasting me a long time, with two weeks of daily use, the bottle is still 9/10 full, so this should last me a few months. Well worth $7 and I will continue using this and plan to repurchase when I run out!

I have a love hate relationship with this product. It does remove any excess oil however I have very sensitive akin and I believe the blue dye is irritating my skin.

I have very oily skin so this product was amazing when i bought it but then it gave me a bad rash and my skin felt terrible and dry but looked fine so i stopped using it. The smell is very very strong and makes me feel sick. The nice thing about this is that you can see everything from your skin on the cotton ball so you know its working. the pour bottle is a bad idea, its a mess if you cant control it. Dont buy it until you're absolutely positive, i wasted my money :(

I don't know. There's really nothing special about this toner. It doesn't smell terrible, but it doesn't smell good either- It didn't do wonders for my moderate acne, but it didn't make it worse.

I like that it didn't dry out my skin (which is oily) and it didn't burn like some toners have. Since everyone's skin is different, I can say I had a good experience overall. I will probably try something different next time, only because this wasn't amazing.

The fumes alone make me hate this product.It makes my eyes burn and makes me cough.Yes it does help with break outs but just isn't worth it for all the problems. Especially with the fact that you skin is still sticky after use so I need another toner.
Only upside there is a pour spout so u don't waste product.

Overall this product did control my acne but it left my skin feeling really sticky and dry. I get oily throughout the day in my T-zone and nose area, the toner didn't do much to control that. The smell is similar to that of others in the Stress Control line, I don't really like it. Packaging wise, I hate hate it. I don't know if I just got a bad bottle but the cap on mine doesn't close down all the way. And the cap leaks. I tipped it over by accident a few times and the toner leaked everywhere.

I really adore this toner. It perfectly cleans my skin, makes my skin feel healthier and with less blemishes. It doesn't do miracles, but makes my skin less oily and absolutely clean. It removes any makeup residues on the skin. This toner is quite drying, so I recommend to use a good moisturizer too. This product is definitely worth buying.

Re-purchased at least five times. Haven't gone without it since I came across it. Excellent at clearing breakouts to perfection. But beware of dry patches from overuse...
