i love this color! i just wore it to a birthday party and i got compliments on it! it was awesome!!!! i put no as to i wont buy again because i seldom use a whole product up to buy another...but if i did i would def buy again!

This is a beautiful blue in the pan however, the color payoff is just not what I have come to expect from MAC.

This is a very nice blue with some strange under tones to it - on me they pick up very dark rescuing this from becoming just another tropical blue color. While I was generally disappointed with the Star Flash collection this was one of the few eye shadows that really stood out, this also seems to have a universally appealing shade for almost any skin color.

I had a hankering for parrot, which I'd foolishly swapped a while back, and heard this color was close so while on vaca this week I picked this up at a cco. I was not disappointed - its such a pretty aqua/teal color - great on lids and I blend it out so its not too bright. Perfect summery color. Hopefully I'll hang onto this one:)
UPDATE- just got parrot again and comparing the two they look identical in color when swatched on my arm but when put on my eyes the parrot is way more pigmented than the talent pool. I think parrot is almost too pigmented so I prefer talent pool now.

Beautiful medium blue w/a slight tealy colour....applies like their veluxe pearls..very pigmented & decent staying power!!!!

IMO, Starflash is the best shadow formula from MAC. Starflash is very vibrant/pigmented yet the shadows are very soft and almost creamy. The formulation is very close to Stila. In fact, Grand Entrance from MAC Starflash is exactly the same as Stila Kitten.

Talent Pool is the color that really stood out to me. I also picked up Star by Night (a navy blue) to coordinate with Tallent Pool. Talent Pools is a gorgeous medium blue that is very slightly teal-ish.

I bought both Starflash shadows from my CCO for $10.25 each.

I bought this to go with my Delft paint pot from a CCO and I love it! I am African-American with cool undertones and it looks great around my eyes. Really makes my eyes pop. Smooth texture and the color in the packaging is the color you get.

This eyeshadow is incredibly smooth to the touch, and the color in the pot is the color you receive. Not only is it highly pigmented but it stays very true to the color you see.

This is probably my all time favorite aqua blue color, and its a shame that it is limited edition because this is really a must have eyeshadow.

This is my favorite e/s from the Starflash collection.I would describe this as light-medium blue. It's a bit bright but not overwhelming at all. The color is buildable to make it a bit darker/brighter. Blends easily like all the other e/s's from this collection. I wear this on my crease with Tilt of Phloof on the lid. Of all the blue MAC e/s's that I own this is hands down my favorite! I will be purchasing a back up from CCO to avoid ebay prices :)

I LOVE this colour... probably my favorite colour from MAC right now. Its beautiful in the pan, beautiful on my eyes, has great colour payoff, and is super easy to blend. I will buy again when I run out

I like how smoothly it goes on, but in all honesty blues scare me. This looks nice on but I don't know what to coordinate this with. I liked all the starflash collection, but the blues don't look good on me.

i found the Starflash collection alittle disappointing, this swatch looked awesome in the store but once i got it home i found the blue to be too bright for me, i might try mixing with a darker blue and a silver and see how we go,

Talent Pool is one of MAC's new Starflash finish eyeshadows. The formula of these reminds me of the Veluxe Pearls, only with the flash and buildable coverage of the Pigments. While the formula is great, Talent Pool is a bit of a disappointment. When I swatched it next to Steamy, there was no difference, and I ended up choosing a propan of Steamy over Talent Pool. If you don't already have Steamy, though, this is a nice shade to own, and the Starflash formula wears very well on oily lids, but not enough to justify paying full price for something you can get cheaper in the permanant line.

Talent Pool is a gorgeous light teal color with a very soft texture and a metallic finish. I am currently wearing this with Solar White (inner lid), Talent Pool (outerlid), and Knight Divine (crease) and it looks awesome. The starflash e/s are amazing. Love this collection.
