I love this shade. I have a couple light lavender shades from MAC (Budding Love and I Like It Like That), but this is one that I wear more often. It is a light and soft shade. Very mod. I really enjoy wearing it. It has a smooth, opaque, and slightly glossy finish. I paid under $5 cdn for this and I will repurchase. For reference, I am MAC Studio Fix C8, Pur Minerals 4 in 1 is the shade Deep.

I thought this would be a great color but not for my NW-15-20 skin it just looks off. If it was a shimmer I could get away with it but the matte it just makes me look well not right.

It's a lovely color and someone with the right skin tone it would look great on them. I am hoping to swap this since it's just not for me.

Power is a nice but plain enough pale pink lipstick with cool undertones. I'm not sure I'd call it at all purpley (since I own a bunch of very purple lipsticks) but it's nice enough. It's very moisturizing and it glides on like a dream - it seems an amazing formula. Unfortunately, it lasts for no time at all. I can put this on and it'll be almost completely gone the first time I take a drink, leaving behind a blotchy mess. No drinks or anything, maybe an hour's wear. Absolutely useless and thus I can't give it more than a 1. :(

This is my HG lipstick! I love the whole NYX lipstick range, they're so pigmented & moisturizing! In Australia they don't sell them in the shops so I buy them online for like under $5 power is like a light lilac/pink colour & I wear it 6 out of 7 days I love it that much. As someone who constantly has dry lips these work better than lip conditioners, only thing is that you have to reapply afew times during the day but all the pros concur that one con!

Nice colour, a straight-up light pink-lilac. Quite an interesting shade that I don't see too often. This shade makes my usual fair-medium asian skin even more yellow. But with a foundation it looks more flattering. Definitely a shade to try, warm up the look with pink blush and bronze eyeshadow and you're ready to go!

An interesting pinkish-mauve shade, it has an almost matte finish but is surprisingly moisturizing and long wearing. It definitely doesn't feel like a 2 dollar lipstick. It does look best on darker skin tones though, I am a blonde with pale skin and it's hard to make this look flattering on me.

Almost like a lipstain - even after it rubs off, there is still color left

Power is a gorgeous, cool-toned mauve - a shade my sister commonly wears from Estee Lauder or MAC for quadruple the price. I am trying to convince her to give this a shot. Everyone should! These lipsticks are great, and power is a lovely color.

I love this color. A beautiful pinky lavendar. It goes on smooth and lasts 4 to 5 hours even after drinking. I use it with Stila Fig Lipglaze over it. I have to reapply the lipglaze but the lipstick stays. A great summer color.

Great formula with a smooth texture, but this particular shade is very unflattering on me with my fair complexion and red hair. The colour is quite unique shade of lavender, but has some sort of beige greyish undertones which makes me look like a corpse or a victim of hypothermia. I can't fault NYX for a shade not looking right on me, but glad to read other reviewers are able to pull of this beautiful shade.

Oh gosh I love this! It just compliments my skin, eyes, hair, everything! Its a subdued pinky, purple that I can get away with wearing everyday without the porn-star-bubblegum-lip look.

The color and formula is fabulous on the lips. It works well even on yellow stained teeth which some lipsticks make it obvious. Definitely my all time favorite lipstick by NYX.

I tried to love this.
When in day light or under normal indoor lighting the colour would look great, a real nice lavender cream with a brownish pink base. But under photo flash I would look like a minstrel...not a good look at all, so this had to go! I found Castle worked better on my skin tone and worked in photos so thankfully I've got the light purple lippy covered.

This colour looks so gorgeous in the swatch pictures above, but on me it's an odd greyish lavender that makes me look ill & cold. As always, the taste & smell of these = no love.

LSS 629 Power: matte, a pink with purple undertones. Gorgeous colour, yet not the lipstick colour you'd find in my everyday hand bag. I find it way more wearable when you pat it on rather than pack it on. It looks great with a toned down smokey eye look. Very creamy in texture. This is not my everyday lipstick but is the type of lipstick when I want a more dramatic daytime look. It is also a great shade for nightime but will not give you that bold lip colour.

I got this because I just start catching on to Mac's Lavender Whip but its discontinued, so I took advice to some youtube makeup lovers that this was an exact dupe. I like this color, and very glad I got it to try. This is super thin. and satin like. To look really cute, I have to add all sorts of liners and blah blah. Either a pinkish slight purple gloss or sheer gold. This is ok, glad I got to find a dupe for LW.
Update: 12/17/10 As time went on with me wearing this. Nyx lipsticks does not have any good lasting power. I'm just gonna get the LW
3/19/11: I finally got LW, and this Power is no where a dupe for LW!!! Wow.... Power is so thin in formulazation, within 10 minutes, you would need to spend another 5 minutes putting on power and setting it up right, just a big waste of time, and it is more pale in color. NYX Castle lipstick is more of a closer dupe for LW. The formula for Castle is different and way better than Power. For those who keep saying power is an exact dupe for LW need to cut it out....Totally different lipsticks. I remember when I first tried Power, I was like man, if this how LW look, than, LW suck then. Wrong.....LW is hot, but like I said power is all wrong if you want a dupe, just try NYX Castle, maybe Castle wasn't out during that time. But Castle has just more of a tinge of color, but in the end the result will come out like LW

Love this! I have jet black hair and tan skin so I think it makes me look like a sexy tan barbie!! Hahaha..seriously, it's a nice color, purple/lilac..kinda reminds me of Mac's snob lipstick. The price even makes it more appealing. I think this would look best on tan skintone's. Just becareful if your wearing it at day. I would only dab this on, blot and top with a clear gloss!

love that color... so pretty on my asian lips.. a pale purplish pink color.. it is very moisturising actually because the nyx lipstick contains bees wax.. but again don't layer too much or it will become cakey.. lasting power is not the best but color selection wise nyx is super great..

I got this lippie when CC had them for like $2.25 a pop. It's a pretty lavender color! I find NYX lippies to be moisturizing and last a good amount of time on me. I don't think it's too wearable for everyday use (well at least for me) but it's such a nice color, I love to pair it with Revlon's lip gloss in lilac pastelle. I would not re-purchase only because lilacs aren't my favorite for lipsticks, but worth a try!
