Another disapointing Clinique product. I loved the idea of an anti-acne concealer. It wasn't terrible at concealing, but only so-so. Better then most cheaper concealers, but definitly not the best in it's price range. It doesn't make your blemishes complete dispear like some other quality concealers would.
But here's the big problem: I ran out within TWO WEEKS! There is SO little product and you need a decent amount to get okay coverage, it's ridiculous, how can anyone who has actual acne even use this? I don't have that many pimples either. I've used other concealers that have lasted me months if not years with regular, everyday use, and offer much better coverage. And it did nothing to heal blemishes either.Total waste of money, never again.

I have owned this on 2 separate occasions and both times I've used it 'til it finished. It claims to cover spots and heal them at the same time but I can't really say I noticed quicker healing when I used this on spots. I also think the coverage was to sheer. I really need something like Mac pro longwear concealer to really conceal my spots.

All in all I think this isn't as good as other concealers out there. It lacks full coverage (something I had expected since this is a part of their anti-blemish range), staying power was disappointing (2 hrs or so) and I run out of it quickly. Only good thing was that I found a perfect shade.

I have the green corrective concealer and it works wonders when used correctly with a standard eyeliner brush. If I just applied this to the zit it would look horrible, that's probably why this product has such negative reviews on here. Its the operator not the product. Dispense the product on a plate/mixing palate/drink coaster and use the eyeliner brush to pick up a very SMALL amount of product. Literally a just the very tip of the brush should have concealer on it! Apply it only to the red areas around the base of the zit and not the entire zit. Then slightly smudge it in with the eyeliner brush again(this time clean) and let the product dry before applying your regular concealer over it. I like to use the MAC studio finish over it. This is the best way to use any green corrective concealer and this product works wonders for its intended purpose.

I actually like this. I follow the directions exactly and let the warmth from my fingers blend this, dot on your blemish & its covered perfectly. not cakiness whatsoever. the color selction is a little tricky but im surprised color 2 works great for me. a little goes a long way & im glad it has acne medicine. if you have occasional acne this is perfect. If you have severe acne the i wouldnt recommend this because if you apply it to a large area then you can tell.

ALSO! do not use with acne solutions foundation or else it looks uneven and cakey.

I bought this thinking it would work, because everyone had been telling me Clinique was the best so I figured I'd give it a try. I absolutely hated it. The product was sticky, it didn't blend well, it smeared and didn't rub into other makeup and overall was just a terrible product. You would have better luck with a drugstore concealer. Don't buy this one.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with this product... or anything from Clinique Acne Solutions.

I don't have severe acne at all, but I get break outs at my TOTM and also will have tiny white heads sometimes.

Where to start... First of all, I don't think that this concealer did ANYTHING for healing pimples. Literally, nothing.

Secondly, the formula isn't nice at all. It feels drying and since it's in stick form, you really have to rub it quite hard to apply it, which is definitely not good for a pimple, especially one that you've picked at (terrible habit of mine). I found it to be very irritating with it's solid formula.

Thirdly, I didn't think the colour range was great. I wear Clinique Perfectly Real foundation which I think is fantastic, but all of these concealers seemed too yellow for my pink undertones! Maybe it was like this to cancel out redness of pimples, but if that were the case, you'd think it would be green? Definitely not enough choice in shades!

I wouldn't recommend this concealer. I believe there is a liquid Acne Solutions concealer. I would recommend that over this any day, but still, there are better products on the market than these. Much better

This is an okay product. I dont get how this can be called a concealer when the product itself can be compared to their foundation line which I also have. I mean, sure, it covers a zit, but not those red ones. The coverage is just somewhat moderate and I'm sure this can cover scars a little better than the foundation can, BUT not newly formed zits which are a hassle. Even L'oreal's concealers are better quality. I only bought his because it did not break me out like L'oreals did. Will be returning for the advanced concealer and see how that works out.

This is an okay concealer; if you want to go for the natural look I suggest you get it because it tones down the appearance of acne. I don't suggest getting this if you have acne; if you have acne scars this will tone down their appearance. Use this after your liquid foundation or before your powder foundation; blend well- do not use any non fluffy brush on your face after you apply this because it will wear off. You will need to touch up your skin during the day; so don't plan on this lasting for hours.

Best concealer with acne relief. Cannot compare to any drugstore product I have tried. Blends into my skin and does not overdry. Just wish I did not have to order on-line and wait for it to get here (I live way out in the country, and its an hour trip to a department store).

When I heard that there was a concealer that helped clear up acne, I decided to try it. I really should have done my research first, because this product sucks! It's super obvious that you have concealer on when you put it on, and the one that I got (shade 01) goes on a grayish colour and makes my skin look dead. Definitely not worth it...

this review is for the concealer in the TUBE...and it SUCKS. first of all the concealer stick had 2% salicylic acid, this only has 1%. i was a huge fan of the stick that clinique used to make because, although it was a little tough to blend and a bit drying, it really helped treat pimples. i'd put it on in the morning and by evening the inflammation had gone down considerably.

the stuff in the tube just doesn't cover or treat as well. the colors are off, and if you try to blend it on the pimple it literally just looks like it's a blob of something sitting on your zit. if you try to blend it more, it just slides right off of the blemish and dries out the healthy skin around it.

luckily i found out that the stick was being discontinued and stocked up on it. but i don't know what i will do when i'm out. the tube will probably last longer, but it doesn't matter because i don't even like it. i would be embarassed to walk out with this on my face. clinique needs to bring the stick back!!!

I actually really love this concealer... After finding my shade, I found that it blended nicely and covered up most my acne very well, and when I wear foundation over it, you can barely tell I ever had any imperfections. This product has also never broken me out or felt oily on my skin, my only issue though is the price, but if you're looking for a decent concealer and willing to spend some bucks, this is a pretty good choice.

I bought this after a saleswoman at Sephora recommended it to cover up my acne, and when she applied it in-store it looked okay, if not particularly good at covering hyperpigmentation marks. However, when I tried it at home I discovered it was too orange for me. Plus, when I put it on it would dry out the skin on and around the pimple, making it look flaky and gross. It also didn't seem to do much, if anything, to heal my acne. It came off fairly quickly, in what appeared to be little rolls of dead skin and concealer. It's sad, because normally Clinique has pretty good products, but in this case I was very unimpressed.

The NEW concealer in tube is crap!!!!!!!. Don't buy it. I used to use the old version( stick) for a few years and I was completely happy with it. It's soooo sad it was discontinued.
The new version doesn't seem to cover much and looks so visible. It makes spots look even worse.

This new concealer in the tube is crap! Pure crap! It's runny & too much of it comes out of tube, for one. For two, it doesn't hide anything. Even with precise blending, it makes the blemish look worse. Why oh why does Clinique discontinue products that REALLY WORK like the acne pencil-form concealer? That was the best! Dot it on & go, no worries, zit shrinks in a day, and you're good to go. The pencil concealer didn't cake & the coverage was opaque. Ladies you are better off buying the amzing concealer - the one that dries to a light powder because with that you will get the coverage you need & it won't cake on you if you moisturize your face first. Pass on the new acne concealer, though. I hope someone from Clinuq will read this and realize waht a terrible mistake the company has made by reformulating & repackaging this product from its pencil form!

I've tried both verisons of this concealer (stick and cream) and I'm going to write a comparing review. The stick verison is sadly discontinued for some reason and has been replaced with the cream.

FORMULA: Both have the salicylic acid (2.0%) in them which makes them "acne fighting". No where on the package does it say moisturizing or anything along those lines, so don't think this product will moisturize. It does have a weird smell, and dries very quickly, so blend properly with the cream. The stick was much easier and you didn't have to blend. I have noticed that it keeps my pores small, the whole day, and keeps my pimples down (usually when i go through my day, my pimples have increased in size due to irritation, touching, whatever.). It hasn't cleared everything though. I notice if a pimple is too far along the SA will just bring it to a head (popable). It definitely works with cystic acne, and pimples that are just red and irritated like pimples around the eyebrows from waxing, or cheek pimples that are irritated. The formula doesn't make my gentle skin itch, it does feel a little drying.

COLORING: There are only 4? Maybe 3 shades of the clearing concealer. I'm a NC30 and I chose Shade 03. Its a little too dark, but its so subtle no one can tell. None of the colors have pink undertones, most are neutral or yellow.

BEST USE: I've tried to use this in 3 different ways and have found the best. I've tried to put this stuff on my cleaned face before moisturizer and let it dry then add my moisturizer... but that does NOTHING and the product just comes off. I've tried to mix it with my foundation, but I never saw results either. Today I tried it first let it drying on my cleaned skin, then just dabbing foundation in all places needed. No moisturizer. Now I know not everyone has oily skin like I do, but my skin is very tolerant and rarely peels. This method has worked amazingly! It doesn't become cakey. I wish I could wear the concealer alone, but alas it is too dark.

PRICING ETC: it was $13.50 at Sephora. Its a .34oz tube. Its quite small, but its a norm. squeeze tube. I hope this review has convinced you to buy the product (:

I have this concealer pencil in my purse everyday. Easy to use, mess-free. Just wish they have more shades. Best for some one who occasionally has a zit or two.

I used to use acne solution concealing stick, and I was pretty happy with it. It covered the pimples well, blended perfectly, and at the end of the day my pimples became smaller and better. Unfortunately, it was discontinued. It was replaced with this acne solution concealer. The SA of Clinique convinced me that this new one is better. So, I ended up with purchasing it. After 2 weeks of using it, I disappointed! First of all, this acne solution concealer made my pimples worse and bigger. Second, the color was not matching with my skin and it didn't cover the pimples perfectly too.The skin became flakey, drier, but the pimples became bigger and worse. Well, for sure I will not purchase this product again. I hope clinique will discontinue this one soon and bring back my beloved concealing stick.

I am reviewing the new version of this product in a squeeze tube. It is not available in a wide array of shades. I bought the lightest shade, and had to return it because it was toooo light. Then I bought the second shade, which is kind of medium, and it was wayyy to orange. This is not that great of a concealer. It dries and looks flakey. I have decided that in order to cover acne blemishes that it is in fact not wise to use an "acne concealer" because it will just dry it out and make it MORE noticable, so I am looking for just a regular concealer. This is nothing special.

I love the new liquid formula. I LOVE the coverage,it applies well (I have used both my fingers and concealer brush) and when I take off all my makeup at night, my skin appears so much calmer and my acne is much less red and irratated looking. I believe that it is due to this new concealer and loose powder that I bought at clinique. Also the price of this is awsome!! It is only $13, which beats my boi-ing from benenfit, which was $18. I will definalty be buying this again!!
