I needed to write a review of this. While not perfect, it's quite a good product for such an inexpensive cost! One, I love the scent, first reaction. Second, I really like the way this sets my hair. My hair isn't stiff or hard afterwards, but shiny and quite 'pliable'. I mean, when heat-styling, my hair does pretty much what I want and stays that way. As far as humidity and "element" control, I've noticed my hair still gets a bit "wavy" after a while if I'm out in the rain (haven't tried this in summer yet) but my hair isn't 'frizzy'. Also, my style stays in place fairly well on windy days....just a touch up with my hands and my hair's back in place nicely....not crazy, pokey and sticking out with no hope to brush it. I really like this and would buy again and again!

This is probably the best mousse I have ever used -- and I have used a lot of mousses. I tried it out at a friend's place and instantly fell in love. Climate Control leaves my hair soft and pliable, not dry and crunchy like the many other I have tried. The perfect product for these cold Ottawa winters. Plus, it smells fresh and clean :) Would definitely repurchase.

This isn't a miracle worker for my hair, but it's alright. It's a good value for the price. I controls frizz a little bit, but not a lot. It helps to enhance my wavy hair, and smells great. The top broke off on my second use of it, but I was able to fix it. This doesn't make my hair crunchy. It only makes my hair look gelled when I use it on dry hair as a touch up. When I use it on damp hair, and then diffuse, I don't have any problems. I would repurchase, but am still searching for a great mousse.

This works miracles for my fine, dry, frizzy hair. This mousse leaves my hai ralmost frizz free and dramatically changes the way that my hair looks. It makes my hair look kinda normal, instead of frizzed out. Like that is also has UV protectants in it.

I bought this on a whim at target before my Hawaii trip since Hawaii is very humid, I figured I need something to tame my hair. I have a ton of hair but it's very fine and tends to get a lot of fly aways. I usually hate hair products but this stuff is freaking amazing!! The smell is nice, doesn't grease up my hair even in between washes. Even in rain, wind, heat and cold weather my hair stayed perfect. Who knew something so cheap could be so amazing ??

This is a nice, lightweight mousse that doesn't weigh my fine hair down or make it greasy, but does really prevent it from going pouffy or frizzy and makes blowdrying easier. I use only about a teaspoon of this on my short hair (much less than indicated on the packaging), working it up from the back of my head and then combing through. The pump is nicely designed so that you can get just the amount you need and don't end up with a handful of sticky mousse. It also washes out well, even with a sulfate-free shampoo, and doesn't irritate my scalp or break me out. I hate smelly products and this is quite lightly scented too. Possibly a new HG!

i have long dirty blonde thick hair and i have tried everything to calm my hair down after a shower. i've used gels and sprays but nothing would work and it would always leave my hair sticky. i use this if i want my hair to be straight by running my fingers through my hair with the mousse and when i want it wavy i scrunch it with the mousse and it always works great! my biggest problem was that i could never scrunch my hair so i tried my friends mousse one day and i went out and bought it after that! i have my mom and aunt using it too...trust me it works great!

P.S. i stop putting mousse a little above my ear height because it gets a little hard when you touch BUT its not noticeable i just dont like the feeling personally

For reference I have obnoxiously frizzy, red, curly/wavy, coarse, midback length hair.
Love that it's alcohol free. Does what the bottle says, lasts all day. You have to find that happy medium on how much to use, or you'll have plastic hair for the day! But once you find it, WOWOWOW!!
My only complaint is that it seems to cause tangles on the underside. Not sure I like that, but I'm willing to comb a little more for the way my hair looks.
I probably wouldn't use this on thin/fine hair - it might be too heavy.

For reference, I have very thick but fine naturally curly hair that gets very frizzy/wild easily. I love this mousse because it controls my hair and gives me definition without a lot of "crunch" and doesn't make my hair feel coated, greasy, or stiff. I use a sulfate free shampoo, and the mousse doesn't build up in my hair. I don't need a lot of it; two palmfuls is enough for my shoulder length hair.

First time I tried it I didn't like it. I should have applied it on my hair right after towelling dry. Yesterday, tried again and didn't wait for my hair to dry too much before applying. Just before blowdrying I used the TRESemme Instant Heat Tamer Spray and both products did a pretty good job. This morning my hair is still quite straight and sleek. No flat iron today. This product is super cheap and the container is huge.

Update (june 1st): after using it several times, I'm taking off 2 lippies. It's like after the 2nd time using it, my hair got used to it (silly I know) Sooo much frizz, it's crazy. Plus, it's drying my hair, it's feeling all scrunchy. Will not repurshase.

I bought this product because I love tresemme and every season I have problems with my hair. I live in cold michigan, so we get dry long cold winters, and then in the summer its humid and my hair falls flat. I have not been able to test this product with summer heat yet, but for the winter it has worked wonders. Normally my hair is very dry and static filled and I have to use a ton of static guard on my brush.. Didn't have to this time. I see some people said they had a gelled over look, I didn't ever get that, but I always dry my hair after I use this mousse. If my memory serves me right, I think it said on the directions to dry your hair after using this? I don't remember (at work so I can't look) but anywho, I think its great, it svaed my hair all winter and I look forward to this summer to test it out. I say try it, can't beat the price!

I bought this mousse for 2 reasons...to try something new and because I do have problems with frizzy hair (mostly split ends along the top of my head). Plus, Tresemme is very reasonably priced ($3.50 for a 10.5oz. can!).

One reviewer here commented on the "gelled' look this gave her hair and the fact that it took forever to dry. I've had the exact same problem with this product. When my hair was still wet and had this mousse in, my hair felt really stiff and crunchy. But after some dilligent blow drying, my hair looked great and stayed nice for awhile.

I have not tried any of the other Tresemme Climate Control products. I'd be curious to try the shampoo and conditioner, but if I did I probably wouldn't use this mousse along with it. I have a feeling I'd be looking at product overload or something.

I like that it controls frizz, and of course it's pretty inexpensive. Unfortunately, it takes an incredibly long-time to dry, and I end up having a weird "gelled" look for a few hours until it sets. THEN my hair looks FAB, and it doesn't feel crunchy or greasy or anything (a problem I get with other products). I also looove the smell, as does my boyfriend! I'm still on the search for a better product, but for now this is my daily mousse.

This is one incredible miracle product. Naturally I have flat frizzy waves that I find really difficult to mold to my desires. This mousse gave me such incredible control in directing where my roots went, how my bangs swept across my forehead and... wait for it... completely got rid of frizz! I was seriously stuck in the rain for about five minutes with a hood over my head, and it was POURING. I finally got under some shelter, took off my hood and my bangs were wet. When they dried they were still frizz free and amazingly still straight (although some of the volume had been deflated it was still unbelievable). The bottle is absolutely huge for the amount of money you pay for it and it lives up to its claim of climate control. Best of all, it's not alcohol-based so you know it won't damage your hair. I recommend this product, especially if you have difficult hair.
