I would repurchase this product.

it works .. and that's all I want from a gel liner. It stays on most of the time (my eyelids tend to be a bit oily with the eye creams I use). If I need extra staying power, I will use a black powder shadow over it to seal it and then it's good for 11+ hours. So, what complaints do I have: the packaging. The lid does not screw on securely and therefore the product does feel drier almost after the first use. You have to either depot this or make absolutely sure you tighten the lid and then don't tilt or throw into a bin .. stand it up alone. This will make it last longer. But, honestly FOR THE PRICE, you can buy a few of these and chuck out before you buy other gel liners which also dry out.

When i initially tried it, i hated it. It was my first time using a gel liner. After a couple of uses, i now love it. i use the brush it came with, which is ok and can line my eyes real quickly. but i think i want to try a thinner brush. sometimes i set it with a black eyeshadow to make sure it lasts but realized there is no use for it. Love this cream liner, considering im a first time user

If you are a gel/cream liner junkie like I am, you absolutely HAVE to give this a try.

I purchased this product last year at cvs because I like experimenting with new gel and cream liners. I've heard good things about it too. unfortunately, being the junkie and hoarder I am, I just recently started using it. ( I have so many eyeliners open, I try to wait till I finish each one. ) I just recently finished my black gel liner by Physicians Formula and honestly thought that was my new HG because I was using Estée launders but that baby isn't cheap. So I decided to give this one a try next, ( I have a bunch of gel liners I haven't opened yet, waiting for me to use.. Hoarder alert. ) and to be honest, I wasn't expecting much at all because of the frail packaging and bulky brush. I gave the ELF one a try and ended of throwing it away in disgust After a couple uses, so I didn't think much of this one either because they're both around the same cost.. Boy, was I wrong. This has become my new all. Time favorite liner . It is so creamy and pigmented , I was shocked. The color pay off is freaking awesome. The staying power? Just as equally awesome. I would go to school at 11am , then go to work at 10pm and it would still be in the same spot I left it by the time I got off at. 7 am. Unlike other eyeliners ( essence) I don't need to set this with a shadow or anything because its great on its own. The brush, I use for filling my brows, so it's put in good use. The cost just makes this product all that much better. My only complaint is the poor packaging. Many other say that it dries out because of the flimsy plastic cap, I wasn't going to wait to find out. Even though this only cost me a few bucks, I wasn't going to waste any of it because I love it so much. I depotted it into another gel liner container I had that was empty. So far, so good.

This is actually a pretty freaking good deal for a gel eyeliner.this eyeliner is super pigmented, one of the most pigmented gel eyeliners ive ever used and it stays put until you take it off.now as with most eyeliners, it does smudge and fade after some time especially if you have oily skin like me.but without a primer it lasts a good 6-8 hours which is fantastic especially for a 4 dollar eyeliner.the brush it comes with is alright but I'd rather not use it just because its super short and quite thick so you can poke your eye with it.anyhow this is an amaaaaazing eyeliner and I recommend it to everyone!

This eyeliner irritated my eyes and caused me to cry throughout the day. Even the skin on my eyelids reacted to the product, and became puffy in patches, which almost never happens. So if you have sensitive skin or eyelids, stay away!

Warning: This eyeliner has a rating of 8 in EWG!
(I looked this up after my terrible reaction to the liner. Had I known, I would never have purchased the item.)

This eyeliner isn't terrible, but it isn't worth all the hype. It flakes easily, and dries up easily also. That fat brush that comes with it is harsh on the eye and it's bristles sprout all over. Would never repurchase, has decent staying power (if you don't mind flakes)

The brush that comes with this product is perfect for a fast, easy cat eye. The product DOESN'T dry out if you have common sense and know how to close a lid properly. I wish it had a liiiitle more staying power but I can wear this for a few days without re-applying.

Dried out so fast, I couldn't use it for more than a month. I even depotted some, but after that mummified, I tried using the remaining eyeliner in the main container. Even that was so dry that it was impossible to use. I have no idea why this eyeliner has so many favorable reviews.

Best eye liner I've ever used! I've used plenty of pencils and liquids, but never anything like this. The pencils I've used always smudged, and the liquids I've used were always difficult to put on [since I'm so shaky], but this product gives me neither problem. I love it! It looks great, is so easy to apply with the brush, lasts all day, looks just like it did at the end of the day as when I first put it on, isn't very difficult to get off and a lot of people have bashed the packaging but I actually kind of like it

I wanted to like this product so badly. From the pros alone it seemed to have potential: good reviews, cruelty free (HUGE plus for me), cheap price.

But when I tried it I was so disappointed. I gave the eyeliner a couple of chances and each result was the same. The eyeliner was hard to apply (I was applying it on my top lid), dry, and flaky. The color was not very pigmented. And trying to remove the product from my lids was a nightmare. No matter how much eye makeup remover I used, there were still traces of eyeliner on my lids and color transfer under my eyes. As I write this, a day after removing the product and wearing no eye makeup today, I still had some eyeliner from yesterday come off my lid when I washed my face tonight.

Maybe I got a dud, who knows, but I will not be purchasing this eyeliner again. :(

I put this in about the same category as the elf cream liner - inconsistent coverage no matter the brush, dries too quickly, not much working time. Don't understand the hype about this.

Screw every other eyeliner I have ever used because this is the BEST. It goes on amazingly well and the little brush is fantastic! I thought I'd never find an amazing eyeliner like this. It's so amazing. It does take awhile to come off because I put some on my hand and it was there for a good two days. I love this product and I don't care about any other eyeliner anymore. This beat it for me. Amazing.

Just got this recently at Rite Aid for 40% off, so I paid a little under $3 for this wonderful gel eyeliner. I applied it with a Real Techniques liner brush (much better than the brush that it comes with), and i was able to glide it over my lash line and upper and lower waterlines with ease. It stayed on all day and didn't run. The pot it comes in is pretty flimsy so I de-potted it and packed it into another pot. Hopefully it doesn't dry out too quickly, but even if it does, at this price I don't mind purchasing it over and over.

Why spend a lot of money on gel liners from Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and MAC, when you can have JUST AS GOOD ones to a much cheaper price? Unless you want a specific colour, that is.

This gel liner is long lasting, does not smudge (I don't prime my eyes in any way, and I have oily lids), and provides a fine matte black. The consistency is similiar to MAC Fluidline and BB. Gel eyeliners are just the same formula, don't be fooled! It dries out if you leave it opened, but obviously all gel liners would. And it still works even though it is a bit on the drier side.
The quality is definitely comparable to the high end gel liners!

I absolutely love this eyeliner. Since Loreal discontinued their hip cream liner i've been looking for a good alternative. I believe this is better! Stays on all day on my water line, it can fade off a little bit but it definitely won't smudge or give you raccoon eyes! for 3 dollars you can't beat the quality you're getting. The only negative thing I have to say is the brush could be a bit better, but for 3 dollars I'm not going to complain. It works great, I highly recommend this liner. Love love love this! Hope they never stop making it!

Once I heard this was a dupe for the MAC gel liner, I had to give it a go, and I looove it. It's very cheap, creamy. and lasts all day. I'll put this stuff in the morning, and at night when I'm taking off my makeup at night, it's still intact. This is a eyeliner that doesn't have a whole lot of wiggle room for mistakes, so some practice is required because if you mess up, it's not easy to remove. The packaging is adorable, but not great. I keep hearing of people complain about it drying too fast, but that hasn't been an issue for me at all. I keep it tightly sealed and close it right away, and it's lasted quite a bit. This is my go to eyeliner, I love this stuff. I refuse to go back to pencil eyeliners!

Pros

- pigmented
- long wearing

Cons

- dries out very quickly

Comments: It wasn't long until I found myself having to warm the product up due to its very dry consistency. I would like to think I just got a dud, but based on the only pot I owned...I wasn't impressed. The pigmentation and staying power are excellent, however I couldn't stand how quickly it dried up.

Will not repurchase.

Tried this for the 2nd time because I forgot how I liked it the first time.
Pros: no smudging on the upper lid area, pigmented black, cheap.
Cons: major smudging on the lower lid area even with UDPP. I had racoon eyes! I guess my skin is just too oily for this product.

I bought this because of the great reviews. I had high expectations and was very disappointed after trying it. After only a few hours, it smudged...under my eyes! I looked like a racoon...not good! I tried setting it with eyeshadow, but that didn't help. I don't understand why it got so many good reviews, there are eyeliners in the same price range (maybe just slightly more expensive) that are much better!
