when i first bought this colour i had mixed feelings about it, but after wearing it a few times i've decided that i really, really like it.

it's a brownish, pinkish nude colour and it does not wash me out at all. my problem with nude lipsticks is that they often make me look like i'm sick but this one has enough colour to it that it doesn't give off that effect. i need to go over my lips more than once to get a good amount of pigment, but for the price i don't really mind. it gives my lips a natural shine but nothing overdone.

it does slightly settle into fine lines but it's very minimal and i can only really notice it if i look at myself closely in the mirror. but again, for the price that this cost me i don't think this is a problem.

I bought two of these, its so easy and care free to use and is really a no brainer. that is not to say the color is blah or boring. It's a very nice pink peachy beige brown kind of color. I'm NC 15 quite fair with no so pigmented lips, Mars lipstick on me shows up pink and peachy more than it's pink brownish for some reviews below. The fragrance in this lipstick is weaker than the others NYX round lipsticks I own, though those don't bother me with their smells either. The texture is non drying, creamy, considering the price this lipstick is really a winner. Its finish is creamy, lustre. Colors pay off is good, staying power is decent. Great buy!

Mars is a lovely warm peachy-pink nude. I love using Mars when I do a bronze or coral look. The formula is super creamy and the finish is like a statin. However, the staying power is not that great.

Love this color. Bought it on a whim and do not regret it. This is a lipstick that is so creamy it feels almost greasy, but that helps make it last on your lips, and doesn't make them feel as if you accidentally put acetone on them. Its a gorgeous pinky brown with the slightest hint of shimmer.

Love this lipstick! Probably my favorite NYX lipstick, though i dont own many lol. Its very creamy, smooth, pigmented, inexpensive and gorgeous of course. Its a very neutral, natural color. Very close to the color of my natural lip pigmentation, so its perfect for everyday wear. I will be repurchasing this shade in the future. :)

This is one of my favourite NYX lip color. From the tube, it looks very dark. I usually apply a layer on my lips, then smooth it with my finger. It appears to be very natural and healthy color on my lips. Highly recommended! :)

This tends to look more orange/brown on the lips rather than in the tube. Nice neutral color though.

Very moisturizing but does tend to bleed if you don't wear it with a primer or liner. I like to use ELF mineral gloss in Bare with this, even though it's not necessary to add a gloss.

This is a great value and a great product! This little gem is a very pretty, brownish pink, which is a warm shade and it looks good with my yellow-orange skin tone. It feels nice and creamy when you apply it. It slides around a bit, so be sure to wear a lip liner. I wore it with the NYX Mauve lip liner, which is my new summer favorite and it's an absolutely beautiful color for someone who never wears "mauve".

Years ago when I was in my 20's and 30's, I was a complete makeup snob. I had to have everything from the department store ~ mostly PX, because of my complexion issues and an occasional Chanel lipstick, because that was the retail version of owning a BMW. MAC didn't exist in the department stores back then ~ I know it's hard to believe...

Today, I am in my 40's and couldn't care less what I buy, as long as it looks good. I buy lipsticks that cost less than $2.50 and I am just as pleased. Funny, how life changes. I was strictly a PX customer for over 25+ years, now I am a devoted NYX customer (except for foundation) ~ HA! Oh, I almost forgot, I also wear e.l.f. ~ Can you believe it? What would the Chanel SA's say about me now?

Just got this lipstick in today from cherry culture. It's a very pretty light brownish pink, not too pinky, which I love and not frosty at all, it looks nice with a lipgloss on top of it. For the price you can't beat it and the quality is great.

Yes, this is a brown peach shade which is gorgeous. It is even prettier paired with a lip gloss. This is creamy and very prigmented l/s with no frost. NYX lipsticks are great because they are very pigmented, there are a great variety of shades and they are inexpensive. The only drawback is their staying power. However, this is a shade I would repurchase.

This is the perfect pinky nude lipstick. I have golden-olive asian skin and most nude lipsticks wash me out. This one looks so pretty and the consistency is amazing - so creamy! The finish is a moist look. It looks great with dramatic eyes looks or neutral eye looks. Out of all the NYX lipsticks I own (and I own quite a few) this would be my favorite. highly recommended!

NYX Mars Round Lipstick: The color best described by the reviewer who called it a caramel color with a slightly peachy undertone. I like the feel of the lipstick - it is average, not glossy or creme and not matte. The finish is opaque so the color in the tube was what I got on my lips. Covered up my lip pigmentation (for most nude like shades this can be tricky). Looks wonderful with a peachy cheekcolor like Milani Minerals Blush in Mai Tai. While this is not HG status it is a nice no brainer lip color.

NYX Round L/S is the best beauty value at anywhere from as low as $1.25 depending on where you purchase. The packaging is exceptional for the price. The lipstick rolls all the way down unlike similiarly priced mass cosmetics. Also, the shade is previewed at the bottom of the tube and color name is on the sticker up top.

I purchased several NYX items from Cherryculture.com during a 20% off sale and qualified for free shipping. TAT was 8 days after my order which was placed right before midnight on the last day of the sale. I got 2 Mega Shine l/g, 12 Round l/s, 3 Black Label l/s, and 2 10 color For Your Eyes Only palettes for $50.

This is a really nice nude lipstick which doesn't wash me out and I usually pair it with a peach lip gloss to give this lipstick some character & depth. As with all NYX Round lipsticks it is very moisturizing, the color payoff is nice and it lasts a long time. I was a little afraid of this lipstick in the tube because of its color, but I use a colored lip gloss on top of this lipstick to tone down the color and it looks very nice on my honey color skin.

I bought 12 NYX Round Lipsticks from ebay for $17.00 which comes out to approx. $1.45 a piece -- the best price on the internet.

MARS is my Favorite shade of lipstick out of all the NYX Round lipsticks. I was so glad this color was Not muddy looking like alot of Nyx lippys are ,this one is a perfect pink nude color and very natural looking. i am going to be buying a few of these as i wear them down quickly. I would suggest a clear lipgloss over this since it is matte, not shiny in any way. For the price you should definitaly try this one if your into nude colors like me!

This is one is on my list of favorites from NYX. I would describe this as a neutral caramel color with peach undertones. Creamy texture, lots of pigment. It sort of kind of reminds me of MAC's N4 lipstick (N Collection). I am a C3/NC25 with lots of yellow undertones & this looks really gorgeous on me. Way to go NYX!!

On me (NC25), Mars is a brown-based nude shade. I have fairly pigmented lips, and this shows up just a shade or two darker than my lip color. It does not have pink or peach undertones....it is very neutral/nude. It's absolutely matte without any shine or sparkle. The lipstick is super creamy and has amazing lasting power. I do not like to wear this lipstick on it's own....it doesn't really do anything for me by itself. But with a light pink or mauve lipgloss (I use MAC Viva Glam VI), it looks amazing. I paid $1.50 at cherryculture.

I would have loved to be able to wear this shade - in the tube it looks like a medium cinnamony, peachy color with a creme finish. On my lips...no such luck. I don't know what it is about my coloring, but it always amplifies brown, so brown shades tend to look muddy on me - most of my nude lipsticks are more pink. Mars looks like light-colored mud smeared on my lips. Such a pity. Very pigmented, not at all drying, and only a slight flowery scent with no taste. Normal round l/s tube packaging. US$2 @ Cherry Culture.

Definatly could see this being a MLBB on someone of about an NC25 or up, on my NW25 skin its more of a lighter mud/brick red. Nicely pigmented and creamy
