I like this masque but do not think it's more special than the queen helene masque.
The packaging is terrible: a hard-walled "squeeze" tube that makes sure you will never be able to use more than 80% of the product without significant effort.
I wouldn't repurchase because QHMJM is much cheaper, and I dislike the packaging of this product. It does work as a clay mask does.

I started using Nucelles products for mild acne breakouts. I have fairly dry skin from taking a bunch of medications throughout my teens. I'm 18 now and have my acne fairly under control. I like the feel of this product and my skin doesn't overly dry out when compared with some other products I've used such as Proactive. As a guy I find it hard to find a good skin care line and it doesn't help having little knowledge of the different brands/ products in the industry...that's more of a girl thing lol. But I must say Nucelles products are pretty good, I use the deep cleansing masque, 10% mandelic serum and their moisturizer and I'm noticing improvements with my skin.

I got a very generous sample of this with my most recent cosmeticville.com order, and I really like it. I was a little worried about the algae extract in it since I have had problems with it in the past, but I'm a glutton for punishment (and a total mask junkie) so I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a try. The first thing I noticed was that it was thinner than most clay masks I've used, but that's also a good thing because then you can use a small amount of product. Once on and drying it really started to tighten up; not to the point of being uncomfortable, but you could definitely feel it pulling. I left it on for 15 minutes then removed with a washcloth and hot water; it only took a couple of swipes before it came off completely. My skin felt incredibly smooth and soft though. Normally I use a scrub or a light peel before masks and even that doesn't get my skin as smooth as this mask alone did. Yay for Mandelic acid! This morning my skin is still very smooth and the active acne I had is gone or well on it's way to being gone. Once I use up some other masks and scrubs I have I will purchase this in their place since it works so well. It's a bit pricey at $30/2oz, but it works so well I can justify it.
