Purchased the small size and once I finish it I will repurchase asap. Its silky smooth and keeps my undereyes crease free.
My Sephora doesn't carry this brand so I will order from Nordstrom.com FREE SHIPPING

At first I was skeptical about buying this powder. Mainly because of the price tag, and also, a lot of people who review this product say it's for oily skin. I have good skin, clear but dry with some minor imperfections. I've been using this powder for about two weeks now and I am in love with it. It's a HG and staple item in my makeup routine, whether on light or heavy makeup days. Usually my everyday makeup routine is just concealer under the eyes and cheeks, on top of moisturizer. I apply this on top of my concealer with a beauty blender (I actually use a RT miracle complexion sponge which imo is better than the original BB. Using a sponge to apply this powder is really the way to go in my opinion. I get such a lovely finish. My face seems to glow and looks natural, it blurs out any dryness and pores. Without it my concealer probably would come off by the end of the day because my skin seems to like eat my makeup so it looks like I'm wearing none by the end of the day. With this powder my face looks so fresh for like 12+ hours. After I press this on my face with a sponge I like to dust it all over lightly with a fluffy powder brush.
This works well with a full face of makeup too, sometimes you can still tell if I have makeup on because it clings to my dry patches on my face but with this powder on top of everything I get a satin velvety finish. You honestly won't know you need tie product until you see it on your face. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this product. You can use this to set your foundation or even bake your highlights. If you don't have this, you need it.

I bought this BC of jaclyn hills rave reviews mostly. And because it was hyped on here and on YouTube.

Way overhyped. This does absolutely nothing for controlling my oil. It's just average at blurring and smoothing out my skin texture.

I like it for setting my undereye. But I can think of a dozen cheaper alternatives I like just as much for that.

In her most recent favorites video jaclyn says she actually changed her mind and prefers Mac MSFN to this now. That I agree with! MSFN is life changing. This powder is just really expensive powder.

Glad I got the smaller size. I use it and like it but won't repurchase

Ok, so I went out and bought this because of ALL the raves about it lately. I have seen this product mentioned over and over in regards to "baking". It looked so beautiful when I saw others apply it and let it sit for a while and then just brush it off. Giving them this highlighted and bright look. Having dry skin I knew that maybe this wouldn't be the best thing for me even though I do use a little bit of a translucent powder over my makeup to set it all. So I bought this at Sephora, took it home and did my makeup then applied this under my eyes, a little on my forehead and above my upper lip. I let it sit and "bake", but when I brushed it off....it was not a good thing. It dried up so bad under my eyes not to mention that when applying whether I use a brush or sponge, the product goes everywhere. I understand it is a loose powder, but my other loose powder doesn't seem to spill so much like this one did. Not sure why that is, but it was more on my clothes than my face. My face just looked super cakey after I applied this powder and let it sit. So, if you have dry skin I would be careful with this product as on me it set in my lines and looked super dry. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me, but I am glad I tried it. Won't be buying it again, actually I am going this week to return it.

I really wanted to love this. I have combination/oily skin and it didn't mattify my skin as well as I would have liked. It creates a nice, natural finish on my skin but within one or two hours, my face becomes very shiny and greasy to the touch. I wouldn't purchase this again, especially for the price. I have some drugstore powders that last longer then this.

EDIT: Reducing this to 2 stars. I hate this powder. I don't understand why it's so highly recommended. This powder just sits on top of my skin and it makes my face so greasy. It looks mattified for literally 2 seconds and then when I touch my face it is greasy and gross. Not repurchasing.

HG status! I usually use HD powders, MAC, MUFE, Nars, Cargo blu ray compact powder(discontinued?) and Rimmel Stay matte. I picked the travel size of LM translucent and OMG, this powder is so finely milled and smooth. I can't believe I waited this long to try to. Better late than never. I've been using the travel size for 3 months straight and still a lot of product left. Will repurchase when the travel size runs out.

My powder quest is over. *drops mic*
I've worked my way through a lot of powder over the years: Bare Minerals, MUFE, L'Oreal, Physicians Formula, NARS. Most were okay. None were stellar. None warranted a repurchase.
About a month ago, a co worker complained that my makeup was 'too much'. I know, right?! Of course I was cross, but I took it as a hint from the universe and reevaluated my look. And in bright daylight, my power was a bit...powdery, obvious.
So I went where all MUA'ers go...MakeUpAlley. The wise owls gave me a variety of suggestions, I spent an hour at Sephora and came away with this gem. A month later, I can say it, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it.
Packaging is typical loose powder packaging. Thankfully, this comes in a travel size, which helps get over the price point. Full size is $46 Cdn, travel size is $27, same packaging only smaller and bonus, it comes with the puff that you have to buy separately with the full size. I love this idea: I am tired of spending a fortune and not liking a product so here's a raised glass of Pinot Noir to all those companies that offer smaller or trial sizes. Brava!
Now back to that puff. The SA's pushed it hard, and it came with the travel size so it worked itself out. Full size puff is another $15 Cdn, driving the total full size price into the stratosphere. Here a hint: don't buy the puff. I use a stiff buffing brush with this and am just fine. Take it down a notch and save the $.
This is a finely milled, slightly yellow, scentless loose powder. I buff this in over my Clinique SCB 25, so I am not using this for coverage or colour. It's translucent and not meant for that anyway, but just to be clear...
The result is a soft focus blur. Redness and shine are gone but I am not matte and powdery. 'Lit from within' is overused but valid in this case. If I need to reapply in the evening, a second layer is likewise flawless and not cakey. No discernible reaction from my acne prone skin and no settling into wrinkles, turning orange or any of the other loose powder tragedies that have befallen me over the years.
So yes, it's a shocker at the cash register and worth every penny.

Out of all the powders I own, this one most definitely has the most longevity. When I apply this at 8 am in the morning, I can always count on this powder staying intact on my face throughout the day (even on my very oily T-Zone). You need the tiniest bit of this powder or else it can look quite cakey but since a little goes a very long way the price is most definitely justified and I can see this powder lasting at least a few years! Could not recommend this powder enough, especially for those who like an airbrushed, full finish foundation.
