Wow, i love this color. Call me tacky, but yes, i love a lipstick that finally gives me the understated nude lip that i've wanted. I'm dark-skinned, prob. about an NC42. I am just in love with the texture, the quality, and the color. Some would easily find this to be too "concealer lip" but not me. I love love love this. If anyone wants to get rid of theirs, just let me know, i'll be generous! I'm afraid i won't ever find this color again if it were dc'd.
I guess i should consider trying Circe, but i love this. Honey was another one i saw and tried, but it was probably too light for me...and too much like others i've in my stash.
Price, packaging, and the texture are all similar or better than any HE brand. And no disgusting scent (YSL, i'm talking to you :D
looove this.

Love the formula of these lipsticks because they are so creamy, but this was super brown on me and I'm pretty tanned (NC32 yellow undertones - asian). It's okay if I apply it lightly and put a gloss over it, but I'd prefer NYX's Honey more, still haven't found the perfect nude shade for me though.

This shade is almost a chocolate brown on me. Since I prefer nude shades such as Circe, this shade is too dark on me. Will not repurchase.

IMO there are 2 types of nude looks--one is when you get a lippie close to your natural pout shade to intensify the lip but keep the overall look toned down(MAC blankety, creme d' nude etc) and the other is when you totally remove any trace of pigment from your lip to build on from there. This color is the latter. It is a concealer type of shade and yes it will give you that morbid look alone but put a natural pink gloss and you've got Kim K's look down! I apply this lipstick then spread it all over my lips with my finger, just to give it a nice, thin, smooth layer. Then apply gloss--I've used NYX Beige which is a opaque pink and it is TDF. Love, Love this lippie!

I'm a sucker for nude glosses and lipsticks. I had not tried any NYX lipsticks and picked this up. Goes on very smooth, matte and nicely pigmented. I would NOT wear this alone - (i'm an nc35-40) and if worn alone I look completely washed out and dead.. but with a light coat and a nice sheer pigmented lipgloss this looks great! I probably wouldn't purchase this again but a great shade if you're into nude shades.

i bought this because i lost circe and could not find it in the store. so i walked away with creamy beige.

my skin tone is "tanned" and this lipstick is way too dark on me. looks like i put on very dark concealer on my lips.

it's matte, pigmented and goes on smooth. i think this would be the perfect nude for someone with dark skin.

This is a matte finish lipstick. With a heavy hand, this looks like a dark concealer on my lips (think NC 35-40 cream foundation). It does not go well with my fair skin. It kind of makes me look dead. This may work for a neutral look for people who have darker skin tones. The texture is great though.
