The texture is very light, very easy to apply. I have been using for two months. I would recommend this to my friends.

I purchased this product before I knew it had been discontinued. It's easily absorbed. I have acne-prone skin, which gets oily in the T-zone area around mid-day. This product doesn't improve my skin in this aspect. I have been using it since winter arrived. It seems to have given my skin enough hydration it needs though. It leaves those dry spots fairly moisturized, eg, nose tip. I don't particularly love the smell.

BTW, the Hydro-Detox mask did nothing to my skin except irritation. After 3 yrs of purchase, I still have about left a bottle now.

This lotion is great. Its so light and hydrating! Great for my oily/acne prone skin. It absorbs quickly into my skin which I love. I think people with dry skin may not find this hydrating enough.

=D totally love it. I used the detox line long time ago, loved it, but didn't repurchase because of the price. After i tried so many moisturizers that dont work well, i decided to come back to this ; ; . first day using it, still love it. face feels well moisturized and supple, the cleanser was great too, felt clean and not over drying, even my dry cheek didn't feel like over dried even though it has very fine microbeads. =D strongly recommend for people who have combo skin, i'm not sure if it's ok for people who has pimples because it does have microbeads which may be a little irritating for skin if using daily. other than that, would definitely repurchase again because it's worth it. rather buying something that works for me than buying lots cheap ones that don't. even cheap ones add up too =p

I'm not sure about the detoxifying and oxygenating claims, since I don't see that much of a difference in my skin, but the texture of this lotion is nice - almost gel like, it sinks in quickly and leaves my skin super soft.

However, it's not moisturizing enough for my combo skin in winter, and not practical for summer because it doesn't have SPF. I also find the smell a bit strong and perfumy, and the price is rather exorbitant. For these reasons, I wouldn't buy it again. The frosted pump bottle is pretty though. :P

i wanted so much to like this line.i've tried this for 6 months, along with the cleanser and clarifying lotion. not really impress because basically it does nothing to my skin. plus the price is a bit expensive.

This review is for the Hydra-Detox Detoxifying Moisturizing Fluid Oxygenation Booster, the less heavy alternative to the Cream Oxygenation Booster. I'm a huge fan of the whole Hydra-Detox line, and this moisturizer is just lovely. Same great light scent as the other products, same amazing results. It moisturizes well yet absorbs immediately. It's hard to tell if it oxygenates the skin, and if it does, it's even harder to tell what those benefits may be, but I'm still incredibly satisfied with it. The only thing I'd change is an added SPF, but it's still one of my all-time favorites. Oh and I love the frosted glass bottle with the sanitary pump.

I've been using the Hydra Detox cream for a few months and like it a lot, and since my dry skin becomes dry to combination during summer, I got this lighter version to use during the day. The lotion is very fresh and light, sinks in fast and makes the skin nice and supple. However, I'm afraid I won't be buying it again --- not because of the product itself though. It's very tricky to find the right moisturizer for my skin sometimes. I have dry to combination skin during warm months, but after using light lotions for a few weeks, the skin on my nose always flakes. It's the same case with the Hydra Detox lotion too. So I guess I'll have to use the cream one all year long, day and night.

This is a great moisturizer for summer time (except that it contains no SPF). It's light and non-greasy, and it smells really fresh. This moisturizer was actually my brother's, but I kept stealing it to use. Ended up using up his bottle and buying a 2nd, I like it that much! And I like how it pumps out, meaning no mess and it keeps the product good for longer as there's no contamination.

I have combination skin with dry patches, but it seems to do a good job in the summer time. In the winter I switch to a heavier creamy moisturizer (Dior).

I am on my 2nd bottle for this and it's one of the few moisturizers that I would consider re-purchasing at this moment. It doesnt scream HG but what it does is creates a smooth and moisturized skin texture. Perhaps that is HG ... but I've come to love the Biotherm line for being 'steady'.
I have combo oily skin that can break out and have blackheads should I use heavy products. It's very reactive as well. I started to use this as part of my regime (shu cleanser, 8% BHA toner, Hydra Detox, aspirin mask every 4 days) and at first my skin took a while to adjust. Sure enough within 2 weeks, my skin started to feel supple, smooth, and fully moisturized without being oily. I can go through an entire day without being overly oily now. It's perfect for me in the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. I have no idea if this will hold up in the winter months.
The pump bottle is quite handy as it prevents any goopy mess. The scent is very light and refreshing. And the cost is medium... Overall, I'd recommend for people to try to see if this moisturizer can give you that ideal skin texture.

I have been using the Hydra Detox line (foaming cleanser, toner and moisturizer) for a few weeks. While I think Biotherm is a quality brand, there is something about this line that doesn't work for my skin. Based on the rave reviews, other MUA users seem to really like it. So I am beginning to think that it's just not right for my skin. My skin is fair and slightly ruddy. My T-zone can be slightly oily and my cheeks can get slightly dry. Also, my skin can be sensitive to changes in temperature and can be reactive to allergens in the air. I have used Clinique most of my life and wanted to try some other products just to see if something else can make my reasonably nice skin healthfully radiant. I wanted something to combat blemishes (I only get a one or two monthly), smooth my texture and even my skin tone more than what Clinique has done. Don't get me wrong, I really like Clinique and they have done a good job, I just have not used anything else. So thus began my Biotherm adventure. I thought the Hydra Detox line was a good fit and liked the description given about the benefits. After a few weeks of use, my skin's texture has gotten slightly worse. Now up close up, my face appears more ruddy and blotchy with little bumps just under the surface of my chin and forehead. It could be just the time of year and it could be just the "transition" period. Who knows? You can read my other reviews of the Hydra Detox Cleansing Foam and Clarifying Lotion. I liked the fact that the moisturizer contains no oil. I thought that this would be a welcome change from the mineral oil listed in the ingredients of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer. Right after I put Hydra Detox moisturizer on my face, I love it. My face feels really smooth and it feels cool on my skin and soothing. But a few hours later, my face doesn't feel clean. It feels like a residue is coating my face. And on top of that, my lovely red blotches appear, my face feels slightly irritated and I can feel those bumps under my skin. I may not like the idea of mineral oil in Clinique's DDML, but maybe that's what gave it staying power, and it never irritated my face. All in all I am not sure what to think about the Hydra Detox line. I really want to like Biotherm and will probably try some other Biotherm line. My mom has the Pure Bright Scrub and Serum and I like those products more than my Hydra Detox. I keep hoping that all the red blotches and bumps are part of the "detoxification" process, and soon I wil have a clear glowing complexion, but alas, I am going to have to try something else. I will try the Pure Bright and I might try some Biosensitive products. I will update this review if anything new and exciting should develop.

UPDATE: Gave it away just to get the hell rid of it. My face is a mess. Back to Clinique, the good ole standby.

Great day moisturizer, especially during the summer time where it's humid, sticky, and polluted like crazy! I moved overseas and the air quality in the city that I live in is terribly polluted!! Anyways, I got this towards the end of summer and loved the lightness of it for that time of the year. The texture is light, it absorbs instantly into the skin, it smells great, feels great and leaves my skin soft and supple. It does what I would want a day moisturizer to day. It's a great base before putting on sunscreen since it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave the face greasy looking at all! It almost leaves a slight matte finish but of course with all of the moisturization. Love the glass bottle, color, and pump too. The only slight challenge with this is that it's a bit too light for me in the winter months. It still works, but I have to use a bit more than I would otherwise. Regardless, I will buy this again. It's the best base moisturizer I'ved used so far.

Great day moisturiser especially in humid-humid weather. I have this on in the day time and Aquasource non-stop in the night time. The most significant difference between the two is the radiance effect the Hydra Detox gives to my complexion that Aquasource can't deliver, but in a way this one has more active treatment on the skin. That effect can be seen on instant application. The end result after one month using is soft skin, less blemished, relax looking skin. kind of healing for my hormonal fluctuation skin type at the moment. I'd go to something stronger after all this phase with my hormon is done with because although I find this moisturiser to be soothing it lack the 'oomph' effect I'm looking for (such as firming, glowing looking skin). I put this underneath of my Shiseido sun block lotion. They seem to go OK together as I don't experience any further breaking out when I have them on.

Basically I love most products from Biotherm, but this moisturizer is my all time favorite! The scent is refreshing; a tiny amount of product will cover my entire face leaving it smooth and feeling hydrated. Lately, I have been breaking out like crazy and this moisturizer is perfect because it is NOT greasy at all. It just leaves my face feeling very supple after use, even when my skin is feeling super dry from using acne treatments. Currently, I am also using the Hydra-Detox mask and cleansing foam which i love too. I like to think that using products from the same line will aid in the potency of results (haha, but this is my personal theory). I definitly recommend this product to others.

I love what the hydra detox line has done for me. The area where I live in has pretty bad air quality, and this line keeps my face in check. The moisturizer melts into my skin, and leaves it really soft and I don't break out from it. I like the bottle with the pump- very sanitary, and it doens't dispense too much with each pump. The price (around $31) doesn't bother me, b/c it lasts me a long time. I'm almost out of it, and I am definitely going to repurchase this.

it's a pretty great product, even though i haven't really gotten around to using it regularly. like someone said below, it's recommended for those who live the city life: late nights, smoky bars, etc etc. the biotherm site actually has a cute little test which recommends which line of products for your skin. it's fun to waste time with.

point being: it WILL be discontinued this spring. i noticed this last time i did an inventory at my store- it's no longer in the book. the new line is still called hydra detox, but the 'o' in detox now is the symbol for the oxygen element. the products will all be different, and this means two things: keep an eye out for liquidation or reduced prices on the old stuff, and look for samples of the new stuff (biotherm sends loads of samples with most new products)

I used Aquasource with SPF 15 for combo skin for years, and then they changed the formulation to Aquasource Non-Stop... Bad. When I used the new stuff, my face became and oil slick within hours. I had to find something new, and I tried Hydra Detox. I love it, it works great, and helps my skin stay clear. (I also use the Acnopur cleanser) Will repurchase, even if I find it expensive, because it works well for me.

I really like this lotion. It has a great smell, great texture and sinks right in. I used this a couple of years ago when I was on certain medication which gave me huge break-outs and pimpels. This lotion (and during the winter the cream) really helped keeping my skin clean and blemish free and fresh looking...
I love the pump as well, very hygienic !! I only took one lippie of because both the cream and lotion donīt contain a SPF, which I prefer in a lotion/cream...

I received a sample of this product as part of a gift with purchase. I began using my sample when I ran out of my regular moisturizer. I'm so glad I tried it. I went to the mall to buy the full size container soon after. I love this lotion! I find it very soothing on my face. It absorbs quickly and leaves my face feeling refreshed and very soft. I also like that it comes in a pump. After using it for a few weeks, I've noticed that it has helped to keep my skin blemish free, even out my skin tone and brighten my complexion. I will definitely continue to buy this again (so long as they don't discontinue it).
