really beautiful blue pink shade with shimmer. Its my first mineralize blush. Staying power is good too.

For reference, I am VERY fair... NC15, UD Naked 1.0 (my HG), or NARS Sheerglow Siberia, year-round. Mostly neutral skintone, but lean yellow (any foundation with even a hint of red/pink undertone - no matter the quality - will oxidize orange on me). VERY dark brunette, that pulls copper when lightened, and true green eyes.
With that said, this color is PERFECT for me. With my coloring, coral-based pinks look the most natural on me. I'm confused as to why anyone would call this a "cool pink", "pinky-pink" or "over-the-top-pink", as it definitely has some golden/yellow undertones. Not quite peach, but almost. Definitely coral. And the shimmer is just right. While it doesn't look like it has shimmer once applied, it definitely doesn't look matte, either. A perfect medium. This blush has never changed color on me, either... stays true.
But only three lippies because it can tend to go on a little patchy, and staying power is definitely CRAP (glad I'm not the only one to have this problem). I can fix the patchiness (blends well), but no matter what I do, how I prep my skin, what other products I put on... I get maybe 3 hours of wear, tops. So disappointing, as this color really is so natural on me.
Weird thing is, it seems to be lasting me FOR EV AH. Even with having to re-apply after fading, this is the blush that just won't quit. I don't know if it's that I just love the color too much, or that I'm too cheap (or both), but I refuse to buy a new blush until this one runs out. It's been a year and I've yet to hit pan... darn it. ;P

This is my absolute favorite blush! This blush just enhances my natural flush looks so good all year around. It is always me go to blush, it never fails me. The blush isn't too pigmented so of you're in a rush you can just brush it on. There are some gold shimmers but they barely show up. The color is a gorgeous pink with a hint of coral. I think all girls who have around NC30 skin need to have this blush in their collection!

NC 25, asian, yellow undertones. My current winter skin is on the lighter side of nc 25. I got this in a swap and after looking up swatches & reviews, I hoped it would be a nice softer yellow-peachy-pink. Strangely, it ends up being a brighter shade of just straight pink and like someone else said below, it oxidized to a weird wine color after the end of the work day. This is definitely smaller than some of their other blushes which is a bummer for those that love the color. I wish I liked this, but unfortunately not for me.
Instead, I've found that theBalm's Down Boy does exactly what I was looking for in Dainty. It provides a soft, buildable, yellowy-slightly peachy-but-more-pink that is perfect!
I still love MAC blushes!!!

I'm not a fan of dainty. i typically go for peach blushes and some pinkish pink so i though i'd really like this. i just felt like dainty was way too pink on my (nc20) complexion. if you like over-the-top pink blush, maybe dainty is for you, or maybe someone with darker complexion could wear this better. i would not repurchase.

I swapped for this and am glad I didn't actually spend the money for it. While it is beautiful, I don't love coral colors on my cheeks and I feel it kicks up and wastes a lot of product when brushed. I much prefer a bronzy cheek and porcelain pink MSF. Also, it seems like a small amount for the price.

Love it. The color is incredible on my NW20 skin. It glides on smoothly and blends like a charm. Without a bit of blending it can be SLIGHTLY chalky. I wear this more than any other blush I own. I wish I could purchase it in pan form, but alas, I cannot. No big deal. I wish the wear on this were better. Nothing lasts on my skin all day, but this only lasts about 4 hours.

I like the colour of Dainty, however the lasting-power is terrible. Halfway through the day and you can't even tell I applied blush (Even after applying MUFE's HD powder!) Super disappointed. Also, I could do with a little less sparkle. I will continue to use it, just as I might as well. But my next blush will definitely be something less-sparkly with a similar colour. I'm very fair skinned - for the record. NC20.

This was my first every blush from MAC and i love it. Looking in the packaging i thought it wouldn't suit me and be far too bright, but it really did. I'm very fair skinned, and it went perfect for Fall. Definitely gave the 'natural look' love it!

I love this blush, especailly on days where I'm a bit cross and miserable and need cheering up. It gives good coverage and is just the right shade of pink. I also seldom need to reapply it, which I like.

Such a pretty blush , my first blush purchase at a mac counter and i love it , it sits very nicely on the skin making the skin look natural. adding color to the cheeks but not making it " you your face " obvious , it has a bit of shimmer and the right amount of soft pinks !
its not chalky and you do not need to reapply it through out the day since it is a mineralized brush meaning it will last and last along time on your skin.
from the price point of view it is quite expensive around 26$ how ever its not something you will go through quickly since its pigmented and long lasting ,if your fair to light medium skin tone then this would suit you very nicely and i would say that if ur looking to buy one i would recommend making this your first blush purchase at mac

This is a pretty pink blush with shimmer. It just doesn't work with my skin. For some reason this oxidizes on me and changes from a light pink color to a wine color by the end of the day. I don't know if it's all mineralized blushes or just this one. None of my other Mac blushes do this. I won't buy this again.

This blush is OK. I bought it a while ago but it's just a bit too pink on my skin tone. I prefer more pinky browns. I recall purchasing this when I had caught the sun so I was tanned and it looked lovely however for the majority of the year, my natural skin tone is yellow based so it looks quite pink on me. I think this is one to save for when I'm tanned. However I can imagine this looking nice on someone who is very fair skinned to give a flushed look but on my olivey complexion it just looks a little too pink.

I like this blush although it's not very pigmented and a little too shimmery for me. Although the color is nice and looks good on my NW15 skin. I'm also not impressed with it's staying power. It lasted about 2 hours on my skin. It's a nice blush but nothing that blows my mind.

For my first Mac blush, actually my first Mac purchase, I was very happy with this blush! It is such a gorgeous peachy/pink color that doesn't look like "too much" on my skin, I am a NC 25. The make up artist recommened I try a mineralized blush because of my skin type, and I'm happy I decided to. I will without a doubt be purchasing more Mac mineralized blushes in the furture.

This is a peachy pink shimmery color. Very typical, and I have a few others like it. I love the color, don't get me wrong! However I will not be repurchasing due to price and similar things I have already. Nothing makes it stand out above other shades: pigmentation, longevity, blendability are all good, but nothing makes it stand out above the others. It looks like a natural glowy peachy pink on me, which I love. Great color for fair skin (I'm NW20). I say if you don't have a similar color, check this out! It's similar to NARS Orgasm as well as the blush in the ELF blush/bronzer duo, for reference.
