this was the best moisturizer i'd ever found - but they discontinued this and came up with a new line recently. i'm so upset! the new line sucks, the texture and smells are just bad. i urge nude skincare to bring this product back as it was.

Light moisture, where is the intensity? I put it on pretty thick, still my skin doesn't seem moisturized. Takes a bit to soak in. Scent is herbal, not pleasant, but not bad.

I bought this cream on a whim (expensive whim, I know) while traveling in NYC and love it. I was running low on my RR Sheer Moisture cream and was looking for something slightly heavier with the colder weather coming. I was initially worried because it contains shea butter and I've had some poor experiences with shea in the past - makes me an oily mess - but this had none of those issues. It's soft, light and one tiny pump covers my entire face with a half a pump covering my neck and chest area. It smells good (not perfumey but not 'natural' like some organic products) and the smell dissipates quickly. It is great for day or night but I do put a sunscreen (Dermalogica) over it during the day. The packaging is fun, but annoying as you cannot see how much is left and I am trying to figure out how to open the bottle up once it is done to scrape the last out of there. It travels well and survived one train ride and 2 return trips by plane without any damage to the bottle. I plan on repurchasing despite the cost as it is both a day and night cream so I don't see it as that pricey considering what I have paid for a night cream in the past.

Absolutely remarkable for greatly diminishing and even eliminating fine lines and wrinkles. I love this moisturizer! Over the last year my skin had become drier and, probably due to my having completed menopause, fine lines were appearing not just around my eyes but on my cheeks. Lots of lines. My neck looked like crepe paper. Nude Age Defence Moisturiser was recommended to me at a store that sold it. At $78 dollars, it's pricey but I decided to try it. Absolutely amazing. Within days of using it at bedtime and beneath my makeup in the morning, the lines just started vanishing. A very little bit of the moisturizer goes a long way. It feels light and non-greasy but does the job like you wouldn't believe! On top of that, I was thrilled to learn this moisturizer contains all natural ingredients. I've been using this product for about a month and the longer I use it, the better my skin looks. As far as packaging goes, I would prefer a non-opaque container so I could see when it's almost empty. And I would love to find something that achieves these wonderful results for less money. Meanwhile, I'm sold on this one.

I love Nude Skincare. I love the idea of high end organic skincare. The packaging looks lovely and modern on the bathroom shelf. I think the idea with recycling stuff is brilliant and I absolutely love the smell. Nude Skincare does produce some lovely products and the Age Defense Moisturizer almost live up to its motto. It is very light absorbs very quickly into the skin. The face cream works really well with my summer combo skin/acne prone (winter normal) but overall very sensitive skin. I have deserted REN rose complex moisturizer for Nude ADM and find it better. With REN you can see how much is left in the bottle. Nude has shielded bottle it is a different matter. However I can live with that.

I've noticed a reduction in my very fine lines and since I am new to the anti-aging thing that is remarkable result! My boyfriend has even noticed that the very fine lines on my forehead are gone! I also use it at night over my face oil and I am very happy with the result.

A few months back I got a sample for the Intense Age Defence Moisturizer at Whole Foods in London (High Street Kensington) and I fell in love with the product which I found better than the lighter version which would work wonders as fall/winter moisturizer. However after a long search I found out that it was discontinued and that Nude replaced it with the intense moisturizing mask which can be used as a normal moisturizer. Nude were very kind to supply with a generous sample and if my skin feels dry I mix it with a normal moisturizer. But still the intense mask feels a bit too intense so I don’t think it is a great daily cream.

I still think that I need to purchase a different moisturizer for the colder months of the year which is a shame since I like this one so much.

This would be a great moisturiser for summer as it is very light and leaves my skin feeling quite supple and moisturised and not feeling like a oil slick in the less dry area's but now winter is approaching its just not quite up to the job anymore.

This is my HG moisturiser. I've been searching for years and have never found anything that worked so well for me. I've got pretty good normal skin so I can't say that it's done anything life-changing for me but it feels lovely and when I put it on I just forget about it. I never feel dry or oily. I know that doesn't sound like much but over the past 2 years I've tried sample after sample of other products to try and find a cheaper moisturiser but none of them feel as good.

I tried the 'Intense Moisture' formulation of this producton, tailored for very dry skin types. Hyaluronic acid and milk peptides, along with friendly bacteria to help regulate your acid mantle, and hydration all in one product sounded too good to be true.
For me, it was. I have very dry skin, and this just wasn't enough for it. Having said that, Nude skin care has some great products, but as with all skin care, try to get a sample before you purchase.

I really adore this brand. I love the idea of natural products however in practice I have found them to be unsophisticated with average results and often misleading claims. As my skin is oily, many of them are too heavy for my skin and the fragrance is irritating.
Nude, on the other hand, is effective and gentle. The texture of this moisturiser is lovely, very light yet hydrating for my dehydrated skin. I only need half a pump - which I mix with half a pump of the Advanced Smoothing Complex - to effectively moisturise and treat my whole face. It improves the texture and tone of my skin. I love that it uses probiotics to feed the good bacteria in the skin and strengthen the skin's own biology to help it to function healthily on its own.
The packaging is almost perfect - so pretty and also keeps the ingredients stable - however I cannot see how much is left in the bottle so it is a surprise when it runs out!
I am a product junkie have many serums and moisturisers on the go at once but using Nude is always a pleasure to use and it remains one of my favourite brands.

Best sheer but heavy moisturizer ever. This stuff is a godsend for combo skin. My skin feels great after using this and the effect can last up to 48 hours. I don't think this is a preventative treatment as much as it is a great moisturizer and protectant.

I got onto this range after a friend recommended the Cleansing Facial Oil- since then I have been addicted to the range. While pricey, I love the fact that it is totally natural and good for me inside and out. I spend a lot of time outside and so was very conscious of my fine lines and wrinkles- not any more! My skin is super soft and firmed- I have definitely noticed a lift and tone to my appearance. I use it day and night (sometimes mixed with the night oil) and my skin has never looked better. It also smells delicious.

I used Nude Skincare for a while when it was still a tiny niche brand sold only in Harvey Nichols in London until last year. I was rather surprised when the magazines created a hype around the brand and then it really picked up. It launched in Space NK, then Selfridges and then Harrods. Except for their cleansing oil, none of their products are 'amazing' and basically do nothing much for your skin.

Now, Age Defence Moisturizer is one of those products that work fantastically for a week or so when you think you found the HG. Then you and your skin gets bored in hyperbolic speed. I have combination skin and a quite good skin tone. I was using La Mer when I switched to Nude and my skin really benefited from the natural, non congesting products in this range for 2-3 weeks. Then my skin started getting oilier and shinier, which does not normally happen and I really am rather skeptical about the anti-aging properties of this cream.

I have been faithful to La Mer for 8 years. La Mer made the texture of my skin butter soft. But I love the idea of Nude Skincare - the recycled packaging and natural ingredients - and I am amazed at the results. I bought a sample of the product line at Whole Foods, and after two months of frequent use, my fine lines are disappearing. I am also wearing less makeup because my skin tone is more even. This moisturizer does not feel as hydrating, but I attribute part of that to the tightening properties, and with the help of the intense moisture mask and replenishing night oil, I do not have any dryness, only glowing skin. Overall, this product line is less expensive than La Mer and without the mineral oil or parabens. I have made the switch!

On Sephora.com this is described as a "light moisturizing cream" that is suitable for normal to combination skin. I guess "light" is a relative term, but it wasn't all that light IMO. It's not something I'd want to slather all over my face in July. Unless you are quite dry or living in a cold climate, you will feel like a grease ball. I'm also not sure that this product would be appropriate for blemish prone skin. I used it only on areas where I was not concerned about breaking out. This product has one of the longer ingredient listings I've ever seen, which could be a good or a bad thing. I do recognize some ingredients as being beneficial for skin, but when a product has this many ingredients, there's a greater chance that an ingredient will be problematic for a particular user. Both sephora.com and nudeskincare.com list the ingredients, so I would check those out and get a sample before purchasing ($100 for 1.4 oz). If you go to the company website (nudeskincare.com) and request a sample, they are happy to provide them.
