I used this when it first came out and loved it. After awhile they changed the formula and its horrible. It makes my hair fall out a lot and doesn't feel smooth and healthy like it did before. It seems like all of pantenes products have gone through this change. They all used to be great... But not anymore

I have been trying to grow my hair out kim kardashian length for a while. I usually end up giving up and cutting it back to my shoulders but this time I decided to stick with growing. That is the reason I got this shampoo. I really like this shampoo and conditioner!
Pros- Leaves hair soft*, smells SO good, nice creamy formula, I have noticed I don't have as many split ends.
Cons- I have noticed my hair coming out in the shower just a teeny tiny bit. I'm not sure if its because I don't comb it before I go in or if im just noticing it more now.
*I wash my hair every 3 days and I use a coconut oil hair treatment on my hair every time before I wash it. The shampoo and conditioner moisturizes well for me but that might be because of the coconut oil(:

I use this paired with the Beautiful Lengths shampoo, and I'm very impressed. This leaves my colored hair feeling moisturized and smooth without heaviness. I follow with a few drops of Avocado Oil post-shower and that's it. A great budget buy.

I really wish I read these reviews before I bought this product. I was trying to grow out my hair and saw the commercial for this product, I went grocery shopping but they didn't have this shampoo at my grocery store so I just bought the anti-breakage one which worked amazingly well. When I used it all up I went to Wal-Mart to buy this shampoo and conditioner and was so excited to use it. I just showered and dried my hair, it's really greasy at my roots and dry and frizzy everywhere else. I was so upset after the first time I used it I wanted to just empty the bottles down the drain. Seriously, Pantene should do a lot of women a favour and just take this product off the market, it's horrible. :(

I just bought this the other day. I only used it once I actually already have long hair down to the middle of my back but i wanted it to help stop the breakage and split ends I used it one time so far. I Noticed that my split ends were still really dry after i used it but it did make it really shiny the first day and the second day but it made my hair really greasy looking fast i usually only have to wash my hair every four days this made my hair greasy on day two. It did smell really good though! I did just purchase mane n tail shampoo so Im going to switch off and on from this i guess.Well see.

I generally dislike Panteen products, but my mom got this for me since I am growing my hair out. It's not half bad, but not all that great either. But like a lot of shampoos and conditioners I've tried recently it's not conditioning enough for my badly damaged hair. I'm still in the process of trying it out, so I'll make my final decision later.

I really like this conditioner. I use the frizz control kind that comes in a squeeze tube. I believe it's because Pantene is trying to discontinue the Beautiful Lengths products, that I have a hard time finding this. I can only find it at Target in the smaller squeeze tubes. I really wish this came in the large bottles that I've seen in the past. Also, because it comes in the tubes, it's a little more pricey. For a 8.5 oz tube it's about $5. I try so hard to make this last a while but I have really long hair (about waist length) so I use a lot.
Pros: It smells really good! - Kind of like a fresh floral scent.
It's nice and thick. - I have found the thicker conditioners tend to work better and penetrate the hair much deeper.
It's a purple color. - Now, some may think that the color may not matter but the color actually does matter. Purple helps tremendously with toning down the brassiness of hair color, especially if you're a blonde (like me) or a redhead. It gives your hair a beautiful shine without the aftermath of the brass color dulling it down. It's something about the color properities in purple that make it this way.
It feels good. - This conditioner is awesome at making my hair soft. I love running my fingers through my hair because of how great it feels.
Cons: The price. - For a small amount, it is pretty expensive. I wash my hair every other day and use a ton because my hair is long. I probably go through a tube a week or so.
Frizz control? - This doesn't do the best job at controlling frizz. I would say it controls about 50%. I also have pretty curly/wavy hair so it's also genetic for me but I use a different product afterwards to control my frizz, so that part doesn't really bother me.
Overall, this is a great product. I have tried many conditioners from different brands and I always seem to go back to Pantene. This is my fourth tube of this product. My hair likes Pantene. Beautiful Lengths also makes a breakage control conditioner in addition to this one. I have yet to try that one but I might in the future.

The old formula was so much better! I have hard to grow hair and saw a huge difference after using this conditioner and shampoo. I stopped using it for ayou little while and when i decided to use it again, they changed it. I used the new one for about a year and stopped using it about a week or two ago because I honestly wasn't seeing a difference. I now just use Pantene Pro V's Curly Hair series shampoo and conditioner.

I bought this because it was on sale and it looked like a quality shampoo for a good cause. I had never had a problem with frizz or oily roots until now. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling dirty and oily and the conditioner makes my hair feel like straw. I would definitely not recommend this product - especially to anyone who is trying to grow their hair out, it's not a good start! My hair has always been smooth and straight, and for the first time it is frizzy from root to tip. So disappointing :( but I'm a student and have to be frugal so I'm riding it out until i finish the bottles. Hopefully these past two months of using this shampoo/conditioner haven't damaged my hair for good.

I researched this product online before I purchased, and I found several negative reviews, but I just ignored them and hoped for the best. This review is a warning: DO NOT BUY THIS.
So the scent is fine. but the packaging sucks. My shampoo leaked out of the bottle by just hanging out in the shower, which I think might've actually been a good thing.
This product ruined my hair after using it for a little more than a month. I'm trying to grow out my hair and wanted something to make it strong and healthy, but this made every last bit of my hair dry. It looks like I flat iron my hair on a temperature setting of about 1,000 degrees everyday! I developed dandruff, which I've never had a problem with before.
My being the idiot I apparently am didn't look at the ingredients list to see that both the shampoo and conditioner are LOADED with sulfates. Newsflash: sulfates ruin your hair and strip your scalp of all natural oils. Considering the price of this product, this shouldn't be surprising. Oh well, at least I donated some cash to charity.
PLEASE save yourself and your hair and do not buy this. Your scalp will thank you! Go with something natural, like the Yes To brand. Sorry this review was so lengthy, I just needed to get what this product can do to your hair out there.

I have not used Pantene in years, but saw this and decided to try it and the matching shampoo hoping they would surprise me. Surprise surprise they did not. This left my hair soft at first. Then within 12 hours my hair was left very greasy. And now I am having breakouts on my scalp which is not something I usually experience. I have had them ever since I started using this product and even a few days after stopping. I also noticed that this says it is safe for colored hair, but I am finding that not true. This stripped my hair horribly. Altogether this was horrible along with the matching shampoo. I would not use them. And they reminded me why I have not used Pantene products in years.

I bought this before I went "clean" with my products. As in no sulfates, silicones, parabens, etc. So I would not repurchase no matter what. But I also wasn't very impressed with the product (by the way, I got the frizz control one). Like every other shamp/cond I have tried, this cleaned my hair and left it feeling soft when I got out of the shower. But, as usual, my hair turned into a frizzy, poofy, undefined, curly mess once dry. I realized that the unnatural junk in Pantene, Dove, Garnier, etc. don't do anything for my hair. Which might be fine if you have straight, naturally silky hair. But my hair is thick and frizzy and curly. Anyways, I've been loving Nature's Gate Hemp shamp/cond.

Yay, this did a miracle on my hair in under 4 days!
My hair was really damaged from my hair coloring/perming/straightening/ etc but now it's alot more softer, and shinier and tangles a whole lot less :D
Update: It's been a week now of using it and my hair feels soooo amazingly silky smooth! Every last bit of dryness and brittleness is gone, but my hair doesn't feel at all greasy or heavy - completely recommend it if you have fine hair chemically damaged

I. Am. In. LOVE! This condition is by far the best conditioner I have ever used including Redken, Biolage, Paul Mitchell, Aveda, etc. I have fine, color-treated hair (and a lot of it). It also lacks volume due to the extremely humid weather conditions. This conditioner makes my hair the softest its ever been without weighing it down or making it look greasy, which I run into a lot. I have a really oily scalp and it seems to have helped balance the oil production because I can go three days without washing which is way better for my hair and its so much healthier. It also makes it soooo shiny! I like the shampoo too, but I alternate that with my Redken shampoo for color-treated hair. LOVE and will repurchase over and over and over!!

Although I think this conditioner had kept my hair in a healthy state, I don't think it has helped me with my hair loss. I still notice quite a bit of hair falling out of my head. This is a good conditioner for split end prevention and maintenance, but not so good for actual hair loss.

I alternate between this conditioner and Skindecent's Daily Replenishing Conditioner. When I was silicones, I use this one. When I don't, I use the Skindecent.
I use this because Pantene discontinued the Restratives Time Renewal conditioner, which I really liked. This conditioner's ingredients are the closest to the Time Renewal's ingredients. I would really give this 3 1/2 stars - 1 star off because, like most of Pantene's products, it is highly fragranced, and I don't like my conditioner to overpower my shampoo's scent. 1/2 star off because it's not quite as good as the Time Renewal was. But it still does a very good job of softening and detangling my bra-strap length , fine hair. And the price is great. Will repurchase, unless I can find another conditioner even closer to the Time Renewal.

This conditioner doesn't make my hair oily or flat like the Pantene Smooth. But, I am not satisfied with this product because I feel like it make my hair really tangled and frizzy, I'm not sure if it's the conditioner or the shampoo that actually helps my hair grow a little faster but the conditioner dries my hair and making it very frizzy. Won't be repurchasing this conditioner from Pantene, in addition, I really like the shampoo.
