This is my HG powder foundation. I like how silky and smooth it feels on the skin. Too bad this is now discontinued and replaced by Sheer Mattifying.

My HG powder foundation. I got bored with this due to constant usage and am now using tinted moisturizer, but I can honestly say this is the best out of everything I have tried.

This powder foundation is very fine and has good staying power. It can last morning until afternoon with no touch ups. The shade also matches my skintone well, as I have asian skin.

Also, even if my skin is acidic, the color still looks good after a few hours.

Coverage is excellent. A little goes a long way. Doesn't clump up on your pores.

The compact is pretty, but very pricey. It has a deep violet color with glitter on it. Easily gets thumbprints on it though.

Overall, it's a good investment. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

I quite like this foundation! Been trying out some mineral powders before but they all caused my face to break out. My face seems better, less whiteheads compared to the time when I was using the mineral foundations. I'm using 040 shade and it doesn't oxidise much at the end of the day. The coverage is medium, doesnt look at all heavy.

For the last six months, I have been trying to work this foundation out. This is supposed to be one of the newest powder fdns of Shiseido in Asia targeting to improve the look of pores on combi/oily skins. But for some reason, I find that this is clumpy and impossible to blend into skin. It leaves streaks whether you have primer on or not and when I finally get this to work, it looks fake and pasty and my pores are screaming. Very unflattering and I find that my face produce oil big time after 1-2 hours. The only 2 time it blends in like a real powder fdn was when I use it bareface right after washing my face or on top of SKII Air Touch (which was on my face when I tried this fdn in the store). But even then, the result was comparable to any cheap pharmacy fdn powder.

I like the shiny dark brown casing 'though, which I plan to use for another powder (maybe the Powdery version). For S$74 (inc. the case), I could have bought 3 or 4 of any L'Oreal fdns which is way more superior than this.
