I bought this product a few days ago and I have to admit it was expensive.. very expensive It was 7 dollors but when I went somewhere else it was only 3 dollors so It's not the product's fault. Already my acne is clearing up a lot. One of my problems is it isn't soothing at all it actually stings a little which is the only thing wrong with it so far when I have acne I tend not to wear makeup or try to figet with my face so I thing that really helped it too also my bloting sheets helped aswell. Yes I will, and did, Recomend it to someone.

It didn't do anything to my acne and the pump broke after a few weeks. BUT it cleans well. Not what it claims to be and the smell is okay. It is thus overpriced.

I first started using this cleanser when I was in high school and my skin was a lot more oily. It did an amazing job of clearing up my acne, and dryness was never a problem because like I said - oily. Now that I am a little older, my skin has started to dry out and I can only use this product mmaaaybe once a week, if that, or else I get flakes like crazy. It still does a good job of controlling breakouts. I would definitely recommend this cleanser for people with oily skin, especially teenagers.

This is my first bottle. Have been using this product for three months and i'm half way done. I pump about three full pumps onto my face and lather all over my face. I find that it does help clear my skin and prevent new acne from forming. It was about $5 so would consider re-purchasing this again

I'm in my 30's with extremely oily sensitive skin. I have occasional breakouts, mostly on my jaw line. I've been working out a lot in the recent months and noticed that my breakouts have become more frequent, so I wanted to change my face wash routine to include a daily wash that contained sailycic acid. After reading some reviews on makeupalley and watching youtube reviews, I decided to try this product. After the initial use, I ended up returning the product. I had a really bad reaction, my face turned really red and felt sunburned. I think this product might work well for folks who do not have sensitive skin. I really like the pump dispenser though and the smell is yucky, really medicine-y. I'm still searching for a good acne wash, looking at some Boots products since it's available at my local Target and reviews look good.

If you can stand the strong cheap perfume scent of this cleanser, it's pretty nice. The scent of this product is migraine inducing, though. Beware!

this was horrid for me. after a few days, the areas around my eyes and nose stung BADLY and the rest of my face flaked. oh yeah, broke out with small bumps on my chin and cheeks. AVOID.

I love the foaming aspect, and how it takes off all my makeup.

I hate how if I use it even once a day, my face starts to dry out.

I love how it makes big pimples smaller.

I hate how with continuous use, I seem to get a bunch of little pimples that don't go away until I change face cleansers.

When I used this product the only thing I noticed was increased dryness and my cheeks turned red. I also experienced flaking of my skin. It looked like I got sunburned. I only used a little bit of the product though. I tried to cut down to using it every other day but that was still too drying. So I only used it twice a week but that did nothing either. I am not impressed with this cleanser though. The high benzoyl perioxde cream is overwhelming and causes severe problems to your skin which WILL make your acne way more inflammed.

I love this product. I started using it about a year ago and noticed that it actually removed all of my makeup, didnt dry my face out and helped clear up my acne. It makes my face feel really clean after I use it. I've purchased probably over 10 bottles and it's only around $5.. so cheap!

Works great-have been using 6+mo now-am 5yrs post accutane and acne still came back- I use this with Olay complete spf 15 combo/oily all day moisture once a day. Like another reader said, I too, let set about 1 minute. I know this will not work for everyone, but seems to be doing the trick for me, yes, I get a little red, but, that's what the lotion and makeup are for. As oily as my skin is, to battle the acne properly, there aren't too many things that won't make me red, but this is less painful than having to deal with the zits. I work full time nights as a nurse, am married, and have almost 2 year old, so I have enough things to deal with, don't need to deal with zits. I also spot treat as needed with the neutrogena 2.5% on the spot treatment. Have used the sensitive skin foaming cleanser a lot in the past and went back to it briefly after first trying this about last fall-based on the better reviews-but it just isn't strong enough for my skin. Sticking with this for now.

Good memories! I used this cleanser about two years ago...i think it might've been my first face wash with salicylic acid in it. but i was getting pimples every week, about one to two small ones and by the end of the week they were gone but one or two more would come. but to me, that was bad acne...so i used this product and it was awesome! the foam cleaned my skin without drying it out. When i finished my first bottle it had still been working for me (my blemishes were smaller and less frequent) so i bought my second bottle, i remember i was so excited, this had been the first product that had worked so well for so long, that i was going to buy a second bottle of it! well a couple weeks after i bought my second bottle, pimples increased, my HG product had stopped working for me, and it sucked. oh well, i recommend it anyway.

It is so far the best cleanser i have used, considering i have used a like a bunch of junkies!
this cleanser actually cleaned my skin especially my make up like its nothing, and no trace of mascara left behind!
it also leaves my skin oil free so makes my breakout go by much faster and easier without damaging other parts of my skin.
Though, it would be a perfect match with using spot acne treatment, for a beautiful clear skin !

I've been using this cleanser for over a year now, and it has helped a lot to minimize my break outs. I like how it comes out foamy and my face feels really clean after each wash without any residue left behind. If I do happen to get the occasional blemish, I'll do a spot treatment and apply it to the zit over night and in the morning it dries out the zit and for me minimizes the size dramatically. I wouldnt reccommend this to people with severe acne but people who have the occasional zits.

I have been using this product twice a day now for about 2 weeks. I am 43 and I have oily skin for the most part with moderate acne. I am also going through perimenopause which is keeping my skin for the most part broken out. I always had clear skin up until about a year ago. Anyway, I have tried alot of drug store products, then read of this one on here, so I rushed out to buy it and couldn't wait to try it. In the 2 weeks I have been using it, it has cleared up my acne ALOT, BUT, it isn't completely clear. This is a very drying product, which I like for drying up the oil. My skin looks better, much better in fact, but I would like to have completely clear skin. I would repurchase this as it has helped and for keeping oil at bay.

It was alright but it didn't really do anything for my T-Zone acne. The texture was nice and it smelled good but other than that it's not something I'd recommend to others. It was so so.

I love, love, love this cleanser. I have tried seriously, a million cleansers on my skin, and never found one that would work on my acne, not burn my eyes, not dry out my skin, and was cheap. Well, this is heaven-sent for me. It is seriously cheap, foams (so you only need to use a little bit and you don't get a ton stuck in your hair), and it fights my acne. My breakouts have decreased probably 95% using this product. I used to shy away from Clean & Clear because I always thought of it as a "teenage" product, but this has been my life-saver. I don't know what I would do if this was ever discontinued---probably cry!! This is the best cleanser ever, and I am so happy I found it!

I have used this product several times and have been pleased. Sometimes for my combo skin this becomes too harsh for hormone related dryness. I use this in the shower and let it set in for about a minute and truly feel my skin to be rid of the feeling of greasy pores, especially on my chin and nose.

I LOVE THIS! I keep my bottle in the shower....I have combination skin, so it works really well to help control the dreaded T-zone shine! This is my everyday facewash, but once a week I use a facial scrub for a deeper cleansing of my pores. Great buy for combo skin gals!
