I bought this on a whim last week because I had never seen it before and it smelled really good. I am soo glad I did because I really like it. I don't even know what a guarana is but this smells/tastes/feels/looks amazing. Very fruity. My pot is red, and it is a light pink formula. Its glossy and moisturizing. I find it to be a much better formula than other similar body shop lip balms I have tried for some reason.. Also, I think the little pots are cute and I like them. Now why isn't there a body butter in this scent?!

Why are the reviews so low?!?!? I am so shocked. This is an awesome lip butter in a convenient little jar. I've used it so much that it's almost empty. It's glossy and moisturizing. It smells delicious too. It makes my lips so soft. I bought it a few years ago, I wonder if they still carry it[?]. It's nice that the proceeds from this product went to AIDS research.

I honestly can’t say 1 thing close to positive about it. It doesn't moisturize, it doesn’t last, it taste like heavy perfume. Don't let the name fool you. It doesn't do anything for the lips. The guarana fragrance is so strong it can be melted down to fragrance oil. I wouldn't purchase it if it were marked down to a penny. The Body Shops "guarana" lip butter is one of the worse lip products I have ever tried.

The smell is soooo yummy, reminds me of starburst candies. However, this sucks at moisturizing. Just sits on top really. My rating is for the awesome smell. Will never buy body shop lip butters again.

I don't know what possessed me to purchase this. I'm a lip balm junkie and no matter how many I have I still feel the need to buy more. Anywhoo...this was a terrible purchase, didn't moisturize a bit and left a weird white cast on my lips. Even if someone had super pigmented lips, I sincerely don't think they could pull of this lip balm in public.
I will use this up as a night balm, even though I don't think it works. Along with my compulsive need to buy lip balm I also have a compulsive need to use them up so I don't feel as though I have wasted my money. I would not repurchase and if all of the lip butters are white I will be staying far away from this product line.
EDIT: (11/22/10): I am using this on my feet as a cuticle creme of sorts. It didn't even pass as a night lip balm.

Not moisturizing at all. My MAC lip gelee is just a gloss but it moisturizes 100X better than this. It made my lips peel. Didn't help at all with cracking. At first it smells nice, like Skittles. After a few minutes you realize it smells too sweet! It is nauseatingly over-perfumed. Goes on white unless you only use a little bit. Thankfully I got it as a GWP. Would NOT recommend.

I purchased this product wile in canada. I went into the body shop asking for the yes yes yes lip butter. The girls working there directed me to this product and they said that this was exactly the same as the yes yes yes product just with diferent packageing because the aids campaine was over. Soooo i got it anyways because the smell and consistancy was nice. Smell = Skittles and Bubble Gum. It has a nice buttery texture and i really dont mind the milky color that it leaves on my lips but i dont like that it drys my lips out rather than moisturize them. my lips began to peel a bit and now the smell is a little to strong. i wouldnt repurch this one but maybe i would try one of the others? Not to sure...

I agree with the other reviewers. I luv the fact that the lip butter is so soft and easy to apply but it just didn't moisturize well enough. I think upon using this for a day on a continuous basis my lips started to peel, and also, I had this whitish cast on my lips. Not to mention, there were granuals in the butter which I wasn't a big fond of either. So for me, I will have to say I am not repurchasing again because the only thing I like about it is the smell and the softness of the butter. Also, it's Cdn $8 (before taxes) which is quite pricey for a product that doens't moisturize my lips at all.

Mmmm, the scent of this is like starburst/skittles and the moisture is average, not smashing but okay. The scent is pretty much the reason I rated this 4 lippies, as well as the fact that proceeds go towards AIDS awareness.
