I love the HIP duos, especially this one. The two shades go well with my medium toned skin. I also like how the lighter shade can be worn out in the day. It makes me feel so girly, but with metallic glints it makes me feel glamorous. I also find it hard to wear pinks, but these shades really worked and looked amazing with smudgy kohl liner in a smoky effect. Love, love, love!

One of my absolute favourite eyeshadow duos. A little water makes the pink colour a gorgeous mauve-y rose and the blackened purple is a beautiful liner and is also lovely for the outer v. I definitely recommend wetting the pink shadow though as it becomes so much more vibrant.

This is a staple in my makeup bag since I love using this for quick smokey eyes when transitioning from day to evening looks. It has great pigmentation, especially if you dip your brush in water before applying - if you do that then this can even double as an eyeliner. I have the one with the compact mirror (which is SUPER useful) but I noticed that newer ones do not have this compact mirror! They need to include that back!

I love L'Oreal HIP eyeshadows. I have just about every duo out they have available. I use the lighter shades for everyday wear and I pair it with the darker shade for a good evening outing. They have good staying power when used with any eye primer I've used. I have to use primer since I'm a contact lenses wearer and it's easy for my to get irritated when eyeshadow falls into my eyes. I even prefer these shadows over my Lorac palette.

i love this duo so much!! pink side is my favorite color. it's so gorgeous pink with brown undertone. purple color is nice and pigmented too <3 love it!!!!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Black, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I've had this duo for FIVE years! The color payoff is nice and the texture is smooth, but it has poor staying power IMO. That's why I only give it 4 lippies.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
love love love this duo. probably my favorite of the HIP i've tried. the pink side is quite pigmented but i do have to build it up. the dark purple side though.....WHOA. sooo pigmented. but very blendable and wearable. its sooo easy to make a gorgeous smokey eye with this duo. i just love the darker side. its a very dark purple, almost black with pink shimmer. the HIP packaging is pointless beyond all measure of reason but i love this shadow.

I own 11 of these HIP duo's...and the metallic shadow duo's are my favorite. As the product states they are "high intensity pigments". These duo's can hold their own when compared with UD or MAC and for the price ...you can't beat the value. This duo is you classic pink and deep purple with high shimmer. Great lasting power with a primer underneath. I use this duo for a great purple smokey eye. I would definitely buy again!

Just purchased Sculpted Shadow Duo today for $9 Canadian. I couldn't resist, what with all the great reviews on this product. I'm really impressed with how pigmented these shades are...can't really get much better for the price & the sparkles (metallic) part of the shadow definitely makes this shadow a must-buy if you want your eyes to dazzle. I have big dark brown eyes, and these colours made my eyes pop when I applied them as a cat-eye look. The only reason I didn't give it 5 lippys was due to the fact that the mirror in the bottom compartment was missing!! Wasn't very impressed with that. Also, the little applicator brush it comes with is cheap, so there isn't much use for it. But overall I'm very happy with my purchase!! :D

The colours remind me of UD BOD III Bordello and Rockstar. Very pigmented and work so beautiful together. L'oreal stepped up their game with these HIP duos.

very happy with this product, saw good reviews on the HIP metalic e/s so i went and bought three duos, this is the first one i've tried so far, i love it, virtually no fallout, stays in place, nice pigmentation, pretty colors. true to color, great value, i'm excited i found this. :D

Pink is cute, I LOVE the purple. Deep purple with pink shimmers. Like MAC's 'Beauty Marked' . -Definately gonna repurchase

WOW! This duo is pretty. And very pigmented. Goes on really well!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
This is an amazing duo!! the colours go well together and also very pigmented.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Sensitive, Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
These two colors are gorgeous together...I am particularly a fan of this pink. The pink shows up very pigmented (given that you have a primer underneath), and the dark color is not bad...it can be pigmented, but you need to build upon it a little bit (hence the minus one lippy).
Overall, would definitely recommend, this is a great quality product and a reasonable price (bought this bogo at walgreens!)
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination Hair: Other Eyes: Brown
these shadows are amazing and work perfectly together. i used this duo for halloween, and for almost every rave i went to. its looks perfect and stays on FOREVER. with a primer underneath it of course. buy this if you get the chance.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brown, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
My favorite shadow duo to reach for to do a smoky purple eye. The pink is gorgeous and actually shows up on my lid, and the purple is great for blending into the crease because it's so soft. It's easy to do a sexy or dramatic look.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair Hair: Red, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
I spent ages trying to find this particular duo till one day i found it, the only one left on the shelf at Wal Mart, in Canda. The colors a well pigmented, and true to color. My complaints: number one it TESTS ON ANIMALS: Loreal, why, why can't you just stop your testing like other brands such as Almay or MAC, number two, I don't like the packaging it's too bulky, but this is an overall good product, I do find some of these duos not as soft as I hoped for but it does apply well.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
one of my favorite HIP duos! perfect color combination. I can do so much with just these two colors....subtle day look or a dramatic smokey look for night time. you really can't go wrong with this duo. it really does pair well with any other colors. I keep this in my makeup bag all the time.

I really like the L'oreal HIP eyeshadow duos. I also have one in the Bright category called Showy (which is a slightly shimmery teal blue, like MAC Parrot from Naughty Nauticals and a matte cobalt/royal blue) This duo is a coppery pink-rose and a dark blackened purple with subtle red or pink shimmer. I don't really care about the pink color, as colors in that color family are hard to pull off with my skintone (fair, pink undertones), but I adore the purple. I was drawn to it because I had wanted to try Young Punk by MAC which was in the Style Black collection, but the product was more expensive than their regular eyeshadows (because it was mineralized) and the quality of those shadows got such mixed reviews that I decided to forego it, and look for something similar and cheaper. That way, I would feel less guilty about spending the money if the gamble did not work out in my favor. I had also thought about getting the regular MAC price Beauty Marked eyeshadow (from the permanent line), but that shade just seemed a touch too red and I've had bad luck with MAC's redder toned shadows before (allergic reaction to Trax) and was hesitant to go back there. Then came this one. So close to Young Punk and so much cheaper. Plus, I get to experiment with the other color to see if I can find some way to make it work. I will by again and try more duos.
