The color is awesome. A milky pink color with some sparkle that's not too in-your-face. It's quite sheer though. :/ I wish it were a bit more pigmented! It'd probably look awesome over a nude lipstick. Anyway, I hate the applicator and the smell. Oh, the smell! Soooo gross. It's a fake cherry scent that reminds me of medicine or cough drops. Yuck. It's almost enough to make me not want to wear it... Almost. Haha. I think I'll go back to Ulta and get some other colors.

Recently this has been my go-to gloss, as I've been using it over everything! First of all the price and packaging is phenomenal...you get so much product for a little over $5! I'm NC44 and I have very pigmented purple-ish lips and honestly I can wear this alone and love it. I prefer to wear it over a nude/pink lipstick, like Revlon's Soft Nude but seriously it looks good by itself. It looks like clear gloss with sparkles to the naked eye but upon closer inspection it is a baby pink with small shimmers. 1 con: the scent is not my cup of tea. I prefer chocolatey/vanilla/nutty scents in my lipgloss (think MAC) over fruity smells and this one is definitely cherry. Other than that I love this as much as I love most of NYX's lip glosses and I will certainly buy this again if I run out although it seems like this is going to last forever :)

At first glance, this comes out clear. Upon further inspection, though, it is actually a veil of pale, pale milky whitish rose with microscopic (not at all tacky) glass fleck. This is one of my favorite NYX Mega Shina glosses. I am a huge fan of the line overall, but this one is such a great color. I don't like to look too done up, but when I do wear heavier makeup, I tend to accentuate the eye more. This is a great, quick color to slick on because it won't overpower your darker eye, but it won't make you look dead, either. This is something that would look beautiful on everyone, but I think it is especially nice on people with pigmented lips. The way this color blends with your lip pigmentation is really something special. When I first started using NYX Mega Shine, I'd probably have taken a star off for the scent, which is a little cloying, but the product is so fantastic otherwise that I don't mind the scent. It's not sticky, and yet it's long wearing. The price is tremendous, too. It's 5.99 US for .53 oz., whereas MAC is 14.50 US for .17 oz. I've always been a fan of MAC Lipglass, but this kind of blows it out of the water.

Believe it or not, I use this as a lip moisturizer or lip balm! I have tried all sorts of balms..chapstick, MAC lip conditioner, Burt's Bees, Nivea etc.. and this is the best of them all. Kind of hard to believe, but I kind of fell into this, by trying it on my lips overnight since its basically a clear gloss with a little shimmer. I noticed how soft and moisturizing it was and discovered it made for a great balm. Now I always put it under all my lipstick, and my lips don't get dried out! Try it!

I bought this without reading reviews hoping the sheer barely there frosty pink color would translate onto the lips but, as others have said, it doesn't. It goes on clear with a shimmer, so if you want a clear gloss with a kick, then this is great. It would be beautiful over other lippies to kick up the shine factor & add that shimmer. Just don't expect the tube color to be the color of your lips.

It is a nice consistency (like all NYX glosses) and the texture is not grainy or sticky/tacky. I imagine this will have the same shorter lasting power that the other NYX MSG's have.

The same tart candy smell is present in this gloss as well but there is NO flavor at all, I licked my lips several times to be sure & it just tastes like wax/oil. I almost wish that they would add flavor if they're going to scent it like candy, if not take out the scent. :p

I will repurchase this if I ever use it up, but since it's not going to be my everyday gloss, it will be a while before that happens.

I bought this color expecting a pretty shimmery baby pink colour. It goes on clear. I like the smell, but honestly...if I wanted a clear lip gloss, I would ave bought one. >:(

Love this stuff - a little gleam, but no gritty glitter. Lots of sheer shine, but no frost! The lasting power is less than stellar, but it's so cheap I don't mind. Would repurchase!

I LOVE THIS LIPGLOSS . its a great nude shimmery color with flecks of glitter ...but its not overpowering or tacky..it enhances nicely . perfect to wear daily with natural makeup and at night is easily paired with dark smokey eyes. and as for the scent, i don't see how it's "unpleasant" at alllllll , according to reviews of NYX megashine gloss in other colors. i love the scent its a very fresh, fruity scent. like cherry lollipops? ahhaha maybe not for everyone but i don't find it "nasty" or "gross". smoth consistency , not sticky..PERFECT! :)

Hands down this is a dupe of MAC's Pretty Plush plushglass. When I put them side by side, I can't even tell the difference. Baby Rose doesn't make your lips tingle like the plushglass but it does tastesjust like fruit punch koolaid. Now, some people object to the taste but I absolutely love it. And if you compare $18 to a plushglass & the $3 I paid for this NYX gloss...how can you beat the price? Beautiful shimmer perfect for layering over a pretty pink lippie. (For reference, I'm a C3/NC25)

i just bought this gloss from Ulta for $4.99 while they're having the buy one get one 50% off sale. it has a light cherry scent to it. kinda reminds me of how Rimmel lipsticks smell but not as overpowering. it's not sticky or tacky at all. it has a nice smooth consistency, almost a more moisturizing feel to it. this gloss looks like a frosty pearl pink in the tube but it goes on more like a clear gloss with lots of shimmer in it. which i absolutely love! half the time when i buy glosses that look frosty and pearly in the tube, i hope like hell that it's not really that frosty and half of the time i was wrong. so i'm happy that this one isn't really frosty. i would say it's a good cheap alternative to MAC's new dazzleglass in Via Veneto from the new Euristocrats 2 collection, which i also bought yesterday for $18. i love that gloss and it's a limited edition so i'm not about to stock up on $18 glosses. it's more on the pale pink side compared to Via Veneto which is more of a light lilac. this gloss is great on top of lipstick or mixed with other glosses. i think it's good for anyone who just wants an everyday gloss that goes with everything. i would definitely buy this again.

This product is great. Consistency isn't tacky or sticky, the scent and taste is unoffending and feels great on my lips. It goes on clear BUT gives your lips the prettiest and finest glittery shimmer ever. It is NOT frosty whatsoever. The only reason why I am not going to buy this product again is because it has no pigment. It's a great l/g for someone with pigmented lips or if you want to put it over a matte lipstick for a glossy look.

Would definately purchase again. for 4.99 you get a large lip gloss in a very pretty baby pink that goes on smoothly with a non tacky, non sticky feel. The lip gloss has a nice fragrance when you open it but not on the lip...sort of fruity but pleasant and not overwhelming. I don't think there will be alot of waste with this product the slanted brush applicator seems to go to the bottom of the tube. Very pretty soft color. A nice buy for the money.

I don't know why I keep buying stuff from CherryCulture off the swatches! It's crazy -they *never* look like the actual product. Anyway, on the website it looks like a pretty light rose color. In person I almost thought they had made a mistake b/c the actual color is a very very light pink (think newborn baby girl pink) with little iridescent shimmer flakes. I was also surprised b/c my first Mega Shine lipglosses from NYX were very pigmetned, however, this one went on quite clearly. IMO, that was a good thing. The texture of this is similar to the others: smooth and thick, and it has that signature fruity fragrance (but no taste). My lips are pretty pigmented, but I doubt this would come up as a color on anyone -even those very fair PPPs! If you are looking for a good clear gloss with some shimmer, this might be for you. It is quite thick and a little sticky though, so if you hate those types of lipglosses, stay away. The price point (under 4) was pretty good and you do get a good amount of gloss. I don't know if I will buy this again, but I marked "yes" because it does have a purpose :)
