I had high hopes for this particular Nyx Black label shade as it's one of the most recommended. However, it did not suit my NC 30-35 Asian skin and my naturally pigmented (purply) lips.

On me it's a pure mauve. It's darker than Dusty Rose and more mauve.
I don't like the color. My lips are naturally a bit purple so I'm saying away from that color. I was hoping for Nyx Black label Lipstick in Diva to be a darker Dusty Rose but with more brown similar to the 2nd photo in this review page. But no,it's a mauve on me. Too bad :(

This color is closest to the NYX round lipstick in B52, a neutral, reddish-mauvy my-lips-but-better color. I think the color on the lips in the picture someone posted for this product is pretty accurate. As I put in my review of NYX Black Label lipsticks in general, these lipsticks are far superior in formula and packaging quality to the round lipsticks. Goes on smooth with a satin finish that doesn't sink into fine lines or wrinkles of the lips and doesn't dry out for hours. Best when applied over a lip balm. When on sale, these lipsticks are a steal. Got mine at beautyjoint.com for a good price.

The Black Label Lipsticks are fantastic in that they are creamy and smooth. The feel of this lipstick is wonderful. I bought Diva thinking it would be a more nude color, but it's more of a pink-mauve.

One of my favourite lipsticks. It's one of those shades that suits anybody. I wish it lasted a little longer but for the price, it's good.

It's impossible to select a color from any website that sells NYX products. I choose Diva based on the photos and reviews on this site. This color is very pretty, but it's way too mauve for my skin tone. I was hoping it would be a neutral pink ~ I see the photos of lips and it's so deceiving.

I also purchased Thalia and they look very similar ~ so similar that they are almost identical. I didn't notice any difference between the Round lipstick and the Black Label lipsticks. Call me crazy, but I will stick to the Round NYX lipsticks. I will continue to buy NYX lipsticks, just not this shade...

I will give this 5 lippies because this is a great lipstick. Creamy, nice finish and this color is pretty universally flattering. However, I don't like packaging/thickness of the tube. And even though it is quite inexpensive, I've seen dupes of this color and consistency in even less expensive brands like Maybelline Color Sensational. I will enjoy this lipstick but I won't be repurchasing it.

Slightly warmer mauve pink than Heiress my other natural lip colour Black Label lipstick.

Again, a strong pigmented creamy lipstick. I think i actually prefer this to Heiress.

This is my first NYX lipstick... so far, I am in LOVE with the consistency. I cannot believe how creamy and smooth this lipstick is... feels like butter!!

The color is pretty, though more on the mauve side than I had anticipated. I was hoping for more pink- but definitely a versatile color that works well on my NC 30-35 skintone.

Looks great under a nice sheer pink gloss.

I will def be purchasing more of these black label lipsticks in the future!! I love the packaging and the cheap price tag as well!

This is a very nice pink/mauve nude color. This works well with my skintone. It is not to dark nor is it too light. The formula is nice and creamy, but not as "slick" as the NYX round lipsticks. The staying power is decent too.

Great colour - sikmolar to Thalia in my opinion, but a little peachier. Very nice neutral colour. Easy to wear. Love it.

I am so impressed by the formula of these Black Label lipsticks. I have purchased several of the NYX Round Lipsticks in the past and the consistency is so thin and flimsy so there is NO staying power. But Diva is so creamy, it doesn't dry my lips at all and doesn't settle into any cracks. Lasts 2-3 hours. A little darker than MLBB but still looks very natural. I will be purchasing more of these.

NYX Black Label l/s in Diva:

I think the reviewer Brandysmom did an excellent color description of Diva. I would describe this as a cool to neutral toned pink on my lips. It is a moist, rose like pink.

Black Label l/s feels a lot smoother than Round l/s, and is actually the best l/s formulation hands down that I have ever had the pleasure of trying. The l/s is so feather light on the lips and feels like a lightweight balm.

Sadly, I think this is more suited for PPP types. It is still pretty nonetheless, I'll top it off with gloss and make it work for me.

I love NYX Black Label Lipsticks in general and bought this shade with my last cherryculture.com order. I've worn Diva continuously for the last week and think I've finally found my HG pinky nude shade! This is not an unusual shade, most brands make something similar, but this particular version just seems to suit my skintone and coloring better. It's going to be the new "lives in bottom of my handbag" lipstick.

NC15, hazel green eyes for reference.

This NYX lipstick color is an all-around favorite of mines. It has this nude+-berry color to it that looks absolutely stunning on the lips. It makes your lips looks just as eyecatching as Angelina Jolie's one.

The color wears well, the lipstick has a nice creamy texture, and it is definitely a color that will make your lips stand out in a sexy, pouty type of way.

On PPP me, this is a very pretty MLBB-type cool mauve. A little too mauve to look like natural lip color, but after a short while the lipstick melts into my lips and the texture looks wonderfully nonexisting. Would love to have this color just a tiny bit warmer, but it is still very natural looking and flattering, and I will probably even use up all of it and want to buy another one. Texture is smooth and feels moisturizing, color stays in place. Artificial candy smell fades fast.

This shade comes off as a gorgeous neutral amped up MLBB with a beautiful satiny finish. Very creamy, long lasting and easy to apply. I think that this would be very wearable for mostly all skin tones, from very fair to deep and cool to warm. Everything about this is a 5 star rating for me!

I wear this line and purchased this for my mom who is up in years but still fashion forward in thought and action. This looks stunning against her light golden beige skin and is a perfect lipstick for those who want something on their lips without looking theatrical. FYI my mom is not one to use lip liner or think too much about application so anything that requires lots of precision or time won't fare well with her. She is quite impatient and not one to concern herself with frequent re application either. She applied this in the car on the ride home from the store and she raved about it: color, texture, ease of application. A first for me to witness. I am so impressed with this on her that I intend to buy one for myself. This is a neutral rose tone with a very inoffensive shimmer. I think the color of your lips will influence how this comes up on you. A great everyday color or neutral lip color for a dramatic charcoal eye. Do try, it is lovely.

On my dark pink pigmented lips, Diva is the perfect nude, more mauve than nude actually, with just a little bit of silver shimmer - other than the shimmer it's basically a l/s version of the L'Oreal Passion Fruit Squeeze CJ. This shade is perfect for job interviews or any other time I need a polished, modern look, but not very exciting or unusually flattering for the rest of the time. Of all the Black Label Lipsticks I've reviewed, I think this is the one the most people would be interested in. Black Label Lipsticks have full-on color, but are the first lipsticks I've used that don't dry out my lips at all. There's a slight grape scent as I apply, but no taste or scent on the lips. The packaging is a very cute black sparkly rounded-off square tube, black lace patterned and with a "sample" of the color encased in clear plastic at the base. US$7 @ nyxcosmetics.com.
