A great kabuki brush which is very dense and soft. Works really well with buffing in and blending powder products. I like to use it with Guerlain Meteorites.
The brush is shaped very well which makes it comfortable to hold. It comes in a pouch which is very handy when travelling, also protects the brush from getting too much dust.

The love of my life!! I really don't know what I would do without this beauty. I've tried every hyped up brush imaginable but they either wasted product, or didn't give enough coverage. This brush is sooo soft, and portable with its little zip pouch! It applies my bronzer flawlessly and I can honestly say I have zero complaints. My HG brush! I bought really nice brush cleaner just for this baby;) recommended, so worth the price!

This brush is like a little pet.
Almost cuddly.
I use it for the very final polish of my makeup and love the feel of it to finish my makeup session and then zip it into its little case.
Expensive?
Yes. I hope to enjoy it during many years, though.
No shedding so far!

Yes! This is a great brush. It is so soft but when using a fine powder it will buff it in very well. I can get an airbrushed look. I use this w/either MUFE HD powder or Smashbox Halo. It is so soft I can buff real well with no irritation. So far I've had this brush several months and no shedding and it seems just as good as new.

I feel like I am the only one who doesn't like this brush, but on my skin, its really harsh & scratchy (am I like the Princess and the Pea?). In addition, because I like to push powder (gently!) onto my skin, the hairs are just too long.
Eco tools are much softer & much less expensive - definitely prefered over this brush.

I picked up the MUFE HD Starter Kit with the Primer, Brush and Powder, and Foundation. I also bought the HD concealer. I was super excited to try these products because of all the hype they have gotten!
I have to say i was extremely dissapointed will all of these products! I currently use Christian Dior - Diorskin Forever foundation and powder and they outperform MUFE line in every aspect!
Primer: The Primer does not do anything to prevent oiliness in my t-zone and makes no difference in foundation application or staying power when applied before foundation. I prefer the Too Faced Oil Free Primed and Poreless primer which works wonderfully!
Foundation: The foundation does not melt into my skin and instead sits on top of the primer/skin and makes my pores look enlarged. It does not wear well and after work i can see where some of the foundation/primer has been absorbed by my skin and so my skin looks blotchy and this is NOT a good look.
Concealer: The concealer goes on nicely at first and then proceeds to dry out and cake into the fine lines under my eyes. Even setting it iwth the HD powder does not help. It has a horrible drying effect and just looks bad on older (over 40 ) skin. My fav concealer is Laura Mercier Secret Concealer and brightening powder
HD Powder: This feels okay going on and does mattify my makeup look but does not do anything to prolong the foundation lasting or help the concealer not congeal in clumps under my eyes. It is not any better than the same HD pwder by ELF or Smashbox.
Brush: I love the brush in this set and it is the only thing i would consider keeping.

Absolutely amazing brush. It is so soft and pretty full/dense. It's great for when I apply powder on the face... Such a great investment. Definitely get the real thing! I've tried dupes and fake versions of this, it is not the same. So worth the money :)

this brush is amazingly soft and amazing for buffing in foundation, powder, and bronzer. I use it to put on a darker powder on my face because it's much lighter than my body and it works PERFECT it's however more expensive than most kabuki brushes since it's $40

This brush is very soft. It is quite big. It is dense and it picks up alot of powder so u'd have to give it extra taps to rid of excess powder. Feels nice on the skin and not a single shredded hair. Very easy to clean as well. Good synthetic kabuki brush but I wouldn't buy it again. I'm just not a fan of kabuki brushes.

This brush is super, super soft. I mostly just use it to apply finishing powder, but it does very well for that. I imagine it would also do well blending foundation (but I only use TMs). I haven't had any shedding, and hope it'll last a long time.

It was a toss-up between this sucker and the Too-Faced retractable kabuki. The latter initially won out, since I found them to feel similar, and I really liked the hygienic factor of a retractable brush. However...I ended up purchasing the Make Up Forever kabuki within a week.
The stellar reviews are well-deserved. This sucker applies evenly, buffs beautifully, and hardly sheds. It's expensive, but will last for a long time (I hope!), and I consider it an investment.
This brush really applies and buffs liquid foundation also. "Airbrushed look." I personally like applying my liquid with a flat foundation brush, then buffing with this kabuki, or the Sigma F80. I feel like by using it to buff, and not apply/stipple all the time, I'm somehow keeping it cleaner and being a bit gentler on it.
Try using for applying and buffing liquid/powder/minerals, blush, bronzer. Really blends your final application beautifully.

A nice soft brush, but unfortunatly it cracked around the base after the first washing!!! Like another reviewer wrote, the black plastic coating on the handle is destroyed! And I handle my brushes with care. All in all a disappointment! I also prefer Kabukis that use grey squirrel (bunbuncity sells them on a famous online marketplace for a ridiculously low price and the last one I bought lasted me 4 years) because the result is really airbrushed and I can blend out bronzers or blushes so perfectly that nothing compares to it. The synthetic brushes are just not the same!

It is my first kabuki brush so I can't really compare it to any other brand. The bristles are very soft and it produces flawless skin in a swipe. I always count on this brush for my party make up, and you will be surprise of how good quality brush could drastically reduces the time consumed by your make up routine. The price is wayyy up there, but it's definitely worthy.

This is my beauty find of the year! Thanks MUA for all the reviews that led me to this beauty in a zipper case.
Awesome brush, applies my MAC studio fix and blot powder like a dream. Flawless finish. I don't ever look caked up.
After I got this brush, I had lots of friends asking if I had changed my powder or foundation. That's what this brush does for you. It gives you an air-brushed look.
It's wonderful that it comes in its own zipper case as it's protected from other make-up items in my case. It does take a while to dry when its washed but I don't mind. This is far superior to my former love, MAC 187 brush which has now been relegated to a blush brush (very occasional use as I'm not big on blush... for now anyway).
Love this!!

I had a chance to try out this brush and was sold on it immediately. It is super soft on the face even though it is firm. The only con is the expense but once I tried it I could not go back to my MAC one.

PROS: Soft, but firm enough for application. Comes with a wonderful zip case.
CONS: Not cheap at all.
ALTERNATES: Much less expensive dupe for this that I would recommend is the Too Faced flatbuki brush. I like it better anyway because it applies less product and you are less likely to get the white cast the HD powder can give. Revlon's Kabuki is a bit firmer than this.

This is a great kabuki brush, and the first MUFE brush I purchased (as they are somewhat difficult to find). This brush is probably the softest kabuki brush I have ever felt. It is synthetic, but feels softer than my natural bristle MAC 182. This brush is, however, not as full or dense as my MAC 182 which I prefer for mineral foundation. The MUFE kabuki is a fantastic blending brush to erase harsh lines and diffuse the over application of bronzer and blush. Though I have never used it for bronzer, I bet this brush work work well when used lightly.

I love this brush. It's amazing, i use it everyday. It's the best brush for applying setting powder, loose or pressed. i'm guessing it might also be good at applying a very subtle layer of bronzer. It distributes powder so evenly, you don't get spots on your face where you have to blend better because there's too much product and it looks cakey. saves you a lot of time in the morning.
It's very very soft, and it comes with it's own little pouch, very convenient.
it's a great investment, and i don't know how much it costs on the us, but in my country it cost me as much as my 224 from mac, which is an eye brush. If found it to be pretty inexpensive for the quality.

Okay, $40 is a LOT to pay for such a tiny kabuki brush, BUT this is worth every penny! I debated whether or not to get it, but after I lost mt favorite Smashbox brush, I had to replace with something good. I love the fact that this comes with its own carrying case. SO important to me because its hard to carry this type of brush in your purse without it getting powder everywhere! It fits perfectly in any size purse.
The brush is beyond soft. It's almost whisper soft. I know it sounds weird, but sometimes I swipe it over my face without even dipping it into powder first as a kind of relaxing therapy. I think you will find yourself doing this, too! This also spreads any mineral makeup or powder you have beautifully. I use Smashbox Halo Hydrating Powder, this brush picks up everything and smooths it over my face perfectly. You won't regret investing in this, its well worth the price!

THIS BRUSH IS SOOOOOOOOOO SOFT!!! Softer than ANY brush ive ever used/felt. The only thing im sorry about is that i didnt buy it sooner. This brush gives even distribution of any powder, i prefer to use it for bronzer and sometimes blush although you can use it for other powders (loose/compact) as well. You can easily build coverage and it has a realy nice finish. Sometimes after applying face powder, bronzer, and blush i just use the brush to buff everything together and set it in which makes it last longer. This brush stays soft even with product buildup, but yu shld still wash it regularly. I haven't had any problems with shedding or discoloration on my face from the dye. And of course its small and portable and even comes with a little case so i carry it everywhere. Ive heard of ppl using it to apply liquid foundation but i have not tried that yet, i guess im scared of ruining the brush. This is definately the best Kabuki i own, prior to this i was using the Smashbox body brush which is also good. It is expensive but def worth it!!
