Well this product doesn't really do much for me.

It doesn't help detangle, define my curls, or condition my hair. The spray bottle shoots in a stream instead of a mist, so its hard to apply the leave-in conditioner evenly.

I get better results with water and cheapie conditioner.

Jane Carter Solution has been around salons for several years, so I'm so happy to see it holding it's own in mass retailers. It's one of the only natural brands on the ethnic hair aisle and the products are made of good quality ingredients. All in all, I want Target (and other stores) to continue to carry the brand. Having used the JCS "nourish and shine" in the past and liked it a lot, and I didn't hesitate to try this when I saw it on sale for less than $7.50 at Target recently since I was searching for a leave-in conditioner to help with detangling my relaxed, color-treated hair. Well....Unfortunately, I'm disappointed. This product did nothing to even remotely help in detangling my hair, and detangling was my chief purpose in buying it. Its only saving grace for me (and the reason I am giving it 3-lippies instead of just 1) is because it did decently conditioned my hair as a leave-in, and it smells good too. Nevertheless, I wish It did everyting I needed it to do, but it doesn't so I won't be repurchasing... :-(

Love this leave in! I was in Whole Foods one day, looking for some more natural hair care products and stumbled across this. I normally use the Johnson & Johnson Baby Detangler, which has worked well on me for years, but is all chemicals. I love this product, you can spray a good amount on the hair and it is not greasy at all. Detangles well, and leaves my hair really soft. I will probably rotate this with my J&J Detangler.

This stuff is fantastic! It's nice to find a "buildable" leave-in conditioner -- you can keep spraying this stuff and your hair won't get greasy. I typically spray this on and work through with a detangling comb on wet hair before I add other styling products. Detangles nicely and has a very subtle scent that won't clash with your perfume or lotion. If I need to refresh my waves later in the day, I can spray this on and it enhances the curl. I have found that my hair has looked healthier and shinier since I began using this.

The price is very reasonable for a natural product, under $10 a bottle at Target or Whole Foods.

I love Jane Carter products, since they cater to curly hair and have natural ingredients. This has a pleasant floral note to it and preps hair wonderfully for styling. I even use it alone when I am feeling lazy and this keeps my ringlets controlled without feeling like I have any product in my hair. I was also surprised to see this at my local Target since I usually buy mine from Wholefoods. Does what it says it's going to do and is less than ten bucks.

For some reason, I hesitated a long time about purchasing Jane Carter Solution products. First, I'm not crazy about the packaging. Second, I thought they might work best for African-American hair or other highly textured hair types (rather than my Irish-Italian curly-wavy hair). I finally bought the Revitalizing Leave-In Conditioner, and I love it so much that I'm planning on trying other products from the line. After towel-drying my hair, I apply three or four sprays of this liquid to my hair; then I work in a small amount of my usual styling cream or gel. This conditioner really does seem to "prime" my hair by keeping it moisturized. My curls feel softer and smoother when I'm done drying (with a diffuser), without losing any formation or volume. This product brings me one step closer to a "good hair day" every time I use it. Plus, it smells just right (a very light lemon-vanilla scent that fades after application) and you can't beat the price (under $10 for a big spray bottle).
