Wow, I am surprised by the negative reviews. This night cream is moisturizing but not too heavy and unlike a previous reviewer, I think the scent is very subtle.

I tried a lot of products from the MyChelle line and this is one of two that I repurchased. In fact, this is the only night cream I have ever repurchased. I think it makes my skin look healthier and it doesn't irritate my skin, which I have learned is quite sensitive. I just have to be careful around the eyes because it is too moisturizing - it will make them puff up if I put too much on.

If you like the MyChelle line, I would say don't let the couple of negative reviews keep you from trying this.

By the way, I buy MyChelle products from Vitacost - it is a lot cheaper than drugstore.com or other sites.

I wanted a moisturizing night cream with natural ingredients that wasn't irritating. This fit the bill except that the "unscented" scent is so overpowering it is distracting. When I wake up, my skin feels soft, but it is a very heavy cream and the smell is just too much for me

This is for the reformulated NRC.

My patience with Mychelle is...gone. I like this company very much, but the reformulation of its products have just ruined it for me. I have found the "new and improved" to be horrible across the board. I have tried a fair sampling of the new products, and all but one have gone back to the store (see my review for deep repair cream, which I will probably go back to in the fall).

I was looking for a lighter cream for summer (I hate the grapefruit cream...too watery and the smell is bitter) and, hating the new pumpkin cream (see my review), I wanted a simple hydrating cream that I could use in conjunction with a nightly retinol product. The NRC is heavy, heavy, heavy. My skin cannot breathe! Feeling "plugged up" is the best way to describe it...I felt this way about the pumpkin renew cream, too. I think it is the shea butter. I also didn't like the smell...reminded me of my eco-safe cleaning products. Lastly, it doesn't blend into your skin easily...you have to really rub it in. Ugh...just...ugh. Some people might also take issue with this cream being in a jar, although I don't care, as long as the product works.

I wanted to like the new products, but I just think this is the worst move this company made. In addition, their timeline for getting the new products on the marked just, well, *sucked.* Their website hasn't been updated in forever and I do not have a second job hunting down their new, lackluster products. I will probably return to the deep repair cream in the fall (if I do not find something better by then), but other than that, I am done with this line.
