I bought this Black Pearl, and when I opened it the ingredients had separated into a liquid and pigments sitting at the bottom of the bottle. I shook it up and put it in the refrigerator and next morning the same consistency. Color would be beautiful but the product is really bad. Since I hear some people got good products I recommend you definitely ask the SA to let you open the product before you buy it. Shame, I would have given it a 0 if it was possible.

i love this! it has a gorgeous shimmer but is still sheer and suitable for day looks. also quite buildable. i have it in Glitz, which is a light bronzey brown. looks great as a base or by itself, and lasts all day. i'll definitely by buying more shades

An excellent drugstore product that does what it says. It's quite creamy and I prefer to blend it with a brush rather than my fingers to achieve a sheer result. I tend to use it as a base and then apply powder eyeshadow on top. Get Fresh n°6 is a beautiful shimmery peach, ideal for a bronzy summer look but there are other lovely shades to choose from, Sassy probably the best. It dries out quite quicky so never leave the lid off when applying. It last a good 8 hours without any primer but just a veil of foundation on my eyelids. Overall, truly good. Hopefully other shades to choose from for a smokey eye soon!

Bought this in Shade 001 Snow Queen. I have no idea what possesed me to by a non-blendable mousse shadow in a white colour but I did. I unfortunately have no use for this colour so I have wasted my money. In saying this, the quality is good and the shadow is long lasting.

So disappointed!
Even though I picked it up on sale, I was expecting it to be in great shape. It was runny and hard to apply and I felt like it was half empty. I'll keep it for lack of being able to return it and will try it as an eyeliner or highlighter but don't expect it to be a great eyeshadow.
I wouldn't buy it again or recommend.

Another brilliant drugstore find. I am surprised at some of the more negative reviews, as I cannot fault this product.
It is worth mentioning that I have extremely dry skin, so perhaps the consistency of this eyeshadow is better for my skin type.
I would describe these shadows as a creamy-mousse. They are very pigmented; a little goes a long way. They are also totally buildable, so if you want a more intense colour, you can apply more product without it caking or creasing.
These really do last for at least 8 hours. They are not waterproof, but they really will stay put until you remove them. These shadows last through intense workouts without being sweated off.
They do dry quickly, so you have to work quickly to blend them. However, they do blend beautifully.
The colours are absolutely beautiful. I started off with Sassy and Mocha, and bought a few more - something I rarely do, but I love these colours and the consistency really works for me.
The textures are all shimmery and metallic.
I think these are very similar to Laura Mercier's Metallic Creme Eye Colours. The Rimmel colour Glitz is a good dupe for the Laura Mercier Creme Eye Colour in Gold. When I swatched them, they looked identical, but on me the Rimmel lasts longer, and most importantly, it does not rub off on my crease - it just stays put.
As with any similarly-textured products (ie creams which set), you have to be careful with the packaging to avoid them drying out. Don't leave the lid off the product. So far none of mine have dried out.
An absolute bargain for a fiver - I would have paid 3x this amount for such a good product!

I bought this is 008 Sassy which is a metalic soft brown colour. I've read complaints about the texture of the product not being a mousse and see what they mean. Its rather more dense than than a mousse, a bit gel-like and a bit paint pot like. That said, I quite like the texture and you need such a tiny amount for a really deep colour. If it doesn't dry out, it will last for ages. Make sure that lid is tight!
I apply it with a flat eyeshadow brush and it goes on easily, smoothly and doesn't budge all day. You need to move quickly though as it sets fast. It's great used with an angled brush as an eyeliner too.
It's a thumbs up!

I have this in 006 (Get Fresh!).
Bought a sample from ebay for 2.49GBP, 7ml/0.23fl.oz tube (the pot in the store has 5ml, so I got more for less, in a more hygienic container).
Get Fresh! is a metallic nude pink.Very pretty!I put photos with swatches and the tube.
I have very oily eyelids.
The first day I got it I put it on one eye alone and on one eye over UDPP.It stayed for over 8 hours on both eyes.I was really impressed.
But...The next day I used it alone on both eyes and after about 2-3 hours it creased...
I use it only over UDPP now and it stays for 7-8 hours without creasing or fading.
It is very metallic, it dries fast, and because of this it's not easy to blend.
I spread it with my fingers.Tried with some brushes but I didn't like how it looked.
I use it when I'm in a hurry.
Not impressed but for what I paid is great.

I have this in the shade 005 Glitz and I love it! At first I was kinda annoyed that it costed $13:50, as I was thinking its not like i'll use it every day but I have ben using it since I purchased it and I love it. The colour I got is very natural and when applyed with a fluffy eye shadow brush or simply blended out with my fingers it gives me a night light wash of shimmer, leaving a pearly finish. i love it soooooo much. it looks nice alone or as a base for other colours.. looks super in the corners of my eyes

So this is a cream eyeshadow which can be used for a wash of colour or as a base under powder shadows. It is very smooth but pigmentation is not great. Rather than a mousse I would describe the consistency more like a whipped gel. Its a little difficult to blend on the lids and a little too wet for me. I bought it because the shades they had looked beautiful, and so I got the shade 013 galaxy. It was a cosmic purpley colour.

I really didn't like the consistency of this product and it was hard to apply. Once it was finally on I found it smudged and faded very easily and definitely didn't stay on for 8 hours. It would probably be better used on top of a different eyeshadow of to use as an illuminator.

I have this in 2 shades. A pale blue and a light brown (I think the brown is shade 008).
They aren't mousses, they are more like a thick liquid. I have to put it on with an eyeshadow brush because if you try and put it on with your fingers, it goes everywhere.
This product stings my eyes a little at first, I don't know why.
It has a good amount of pigment and even though it can smudge when it's still wet, once dry the product does last for a few hours.
If applied correctly it is a good product and I would buy again.

While I was purchasing this I was slowly regretting it. Prior to buying I had read the reviews, and as a student I pretty much find everything expensive. But instead, I went home to try it out. I have Glitz (005) and Mocha (012).
Glitz: Pale brown/bronze, very metallic
Mocha: Dark brown, very metallic
I was absolutely surprised and impressed. The consistency was as it should be- it wasn't too runny or too thick. It glides smoothly across my eyelids and dries instantly. I did test of a few colours beforehand and like most of the reviews said, some colours appeared to be watery. Luckily the colours I got were amazing. I should also note that I received slightly less product in Mocha... and also, I wouldn't purchase again only because a little bit of product goes a long way. I'll never finish it.
Edit: I just got Get Fresh: Pale pink/nude, very metallic

The eyeshadow claimed to stay intact for 8 hours, whereas in reality it lasted for about 2-3 hours, after which time it not only faded, but also smudged really badly all over my eyelids, even though i have used a primer. I was also surprised with the consistency, which was anything but mousse. Although the product was almost impossible to blend I did like the colour- a nice pink- and the pretty illuminating effect (before it faded of course). Despite I would not reccomend it for use all over the lid, it works quite nicely as a brow highlight, IF you apply only a tiny amount, though, even then it does not last more than 3 hours.
Although the product itself did not impress me at all I did like the packaging- a cute little glass pot.
The product is cheap, however I would not repurchase it- does not last, fades and is hard to blend. Possibly, it lasts longer on combination, normal and dry skin types, however, for people with oily eye area, it's a no-no.

Having read alot of all the reviews on this product, I have to say that my experience has been totally different! A few weeks ago I would have RAVED about these eyeshadows. I bought 3 and was soooo happy with them. Altho application was bit tricky and blending them almost impossible (once they touched my eyelid they seemed to dry on) but they were definatly mousse and not runny, little glass pots looked cute, colour stay was really great, gorgeous wetlook intense pigments, & even after 8hrs no creasing.......
HOWEVER......
I know no makeup lasts forever, but all 3 of these eye shadows shrivelled up. I dunno if the air that makes them mousse did it, but whatever it was they are now unusuable. I took extra good care of them cos I liked them so much.... never left the lids off etc.

I cant talk for the whole colour collection but I have colours - 012 mocha and 008 Sassy and I really like them.
I agree with others that the name is really misleading, its clearly not a mouse. But i like the texture and I use these colours together and they blend nicely. I have also used them with a cream shadow and they work ok with those. I havent tried to use these with any other normal eye shadows yet, I dont think it would work very well, these are way too wet. I like the wet, metal-ish look they give.
I wouldnt purchase any of the other colours though as I didnt really like them and from the sounds of the other reviews they stink! - thats why I said I wouldnt re-purchase

I buy this shadow in Midnight Blue. And it was really difficult to put on, and impossible to blend. But I found that is a great Liner!!! I use it as a gel liner with my liner brush and I love it! I will buy it again, but maybe I will try another colour! Maybe a lighter colour will blend better!
Sory for my english, I´m from Argentina! haha

Quite sad to see a lot of hate for this product :( admittedly not the best thing I've ever tried and it's certainly very misleading with the name - in no way is it a mousse. But, I actually really like it! I bought it in Sassy (008 I think) which is sort of a brownish nude, hard to describe but it's a lovely colour. I wear a lot of neutral colours on my eyes most days, and I got this with the intention of using it as a base for those. It definitely intensifies the colour of my neutral/brown shadows and it does actually last 8 hours on me! I love using it as a base under my Too Faced eyeshadow duo in Lovey Dovey - really makes the colours stand out more.
As for application.. it's not streaky for me at all and it dries almost instantly. I apply it VERY lightly with my fingers and pat it on rather than swipe, the formula doesn't agree with brushes particularly well.
I probably will repurchase when this runs out but a little goes a very long way so I may not have to in the forseeable future.

I got this in Splash first, the colour is great and the texture was quite moussy. It dried quickly and was almost as good as MAC Paint Pots to me. Then I got it in Snow Queen, and OMG, I hate it. It's really runny and doesn't apply evenly. I love Splash, it's almost like Greenstroke, but I don't recommend the other colours.
