I love lipsticks with an opaque color, this one isn't BUT I still love it.
I swatched it and I loved it. It is a nice plum color with silver glitters. It's very moisturizing and is very flattering on every skintone. An easy to wear lipstick. It works with every eyelook and still it's not a nude, i love it.

I tried this color on at a discount store near Rockefeller Center. I bought the last one for four bucks and I loved it so much that I immediately went to the MAC store in Times Square the next day to buy another one for four times as much. It's a beautiful light copper brownish / berry color with tiny glitter sparkles (not huge pieces that stick to your lips so don't worry). Looks darker in the tube than it really is. It's not a long wearing lipstick so you will have to reapply fairly often, but the color is very neutral without being boring and seems to bring out the green in my eyes. Would work well with all skin tones (mine is olive). Now that I found a color I like, I'm assuming it will be discontinued - LOL.

This is one of those lippies I got by walking into a (trusted) MAC location and asking the sales person to suggest something. When he suggested this, I cringed at first, so dark in the tube...the 90's are OVER. Then he swiped it on my hand and it was so, so much softer than it looked in the tube, but I was still dismissing it. It was this berry, plummy, brown, combo. It reminds me of being in the realm of Sophisto, O, Fluid (but that skews way darker) sans all the frost from the frost ones and replace the frost with the small microglitter to give the lipstick sheen. So I gave it a shot and tried it on, at first, again, I thought, ugh, too dark...90's are done. But then I gave it a second look and realized this is the perfect soft, yet a bit more of a bite lippie you need. The sales guy even said, he loves suggesting it because it looks different on everyone. Suddenly the possibilities of rockin' some great fall/winter looks came over me and I noticed how it worked to bring life to my naked face. Is this "the" lipstick that will change your life? No. But I am so glad to have it in my collection. It is a great bridge color (aka happy medium) from my old, first MAC colors of Fluid, VGV, O, Sophisto to my new faves of Creme Cup, Shy Girl and Creme de Nude (mind you this is over a 13 yr span).

For reference, I am NW20 with rosey brown lips, brown eyes and black/brown hair.

Ok so i have read other people reviews and noticed people calling it a purple bownish colour, on me i find this is a pink colour neautral that can be worn with dark or smoked eyes. I do like it so no complaints here.

I hope they re-release this at some point. It's my favorite MAC lipstick so far, and my current choice for a regular everyday lipstick. My favorite lipstick of all time is Dior Addict in Spotlight (formerly known as Addict High Shine in Chestnut Chic), but the Dior is out of my price range. Naked Paris is a pretty good dupe. It's a shimmery, sheer plum-pink with a hint of brown to keep it low key. I feel like MAC lipsticks could stand to be a bit more moisturizing, but I can live with it. Overall I think this is a great lipstick.

Great shimmery plummy toned lipstick. Think Clinique Black Honey without the jam stickiness. Love it.

Would you buy this product again? Would I ever!! This is by far my face MAC lipstick out of the six or seven I own.

It's a lustre, so obviously it goes on sheer and it's a lovely shade that I can see being flattering on many skin tones. But what I love most about this lipstick it's the lovely sheen it gives to the lips! It's got some shimmer and when applied it gives the most gorgeous depth (if I could use this term) and dimension to the lips. It's amazing and I think it's one of MAC's unsung heroes as other lipsticks of the mlbb family get more praise when to my mind this is one of the best. It's sophisticated and lovely, and although it's not dark enough to compat a dark eye it doesn't go unnoticeable either.

I get a lot of compliments when I wear this shade and it lights up my whole face. I would repurchase, therefore, again and again coz I really love it!

Naked Paris is one of my favorites of all my MAC lipsticks. It is a lustre, not a glaze as stated below. It's similar to Midimauve and Oh, Garnet on me. A lovely pinkish brown with a very unique addition of glitter in it, which serves to make the lips look better but not in a chunky crafts glitter way. More like the glitter you may see in a lipgloss? I end up wearing this when I want something that doesn't scream pink or brown, because I usually like to highlight my eyes and don't want my lips competing loudly. Which is often! A fave.

This is such a gorgeous color, I know I will be wearing it all through the summer and into the fall season as well. First of all, it is a glaze finish which means it goes on fairly transparent so the color it will be on your lips may be very different than it appears on my lips or your friends and family members lips! It is a sheer brownish plum that leans cool with shimmery silver glitter sparkles that are not visible unless you get up very close (like less than 6 inches or so) so the effect is a silvered shimmer with plum brown. It is WAY lighter on the lips than in the tube, so don't be frightened by the appearance--remember its a glaze!

What I love about this is it just enhances my lips with an almost sheer wash of plummy brown with silver shimmer that is surprisingly versatile. I think it looks best with cool toned eyeshadows or neutrals of course but I paired it with a coral blush and didn't look weird.

This may be a color I have to buy a back up tube because it is so unique and versatile. :)
This can also be used over another color, like a matte to add glaze or cool tone or sparkle.

The consistency is very creamy, and it looks like a nontacky gloss without all the stickiness or mess. It lasts a long time too, not like a matte finish but more like the amplifieds.

This lippie is truly a morpher, I read several reviews calling this color everything from beige to plum to brown to pink, and I have to say, none of them are wrong. It does look different in the tube, so it's one of those you almost need to try on. I would describe it (on me-pale complexion and pigmented lips) as almost the exact natural shade of my lips, with perhaps an extra bit of plum/pink, a bit of warmth, and a very subtle shimmer that makes my lips look fuller and almost wet. The shimmer is not gritty and cleans off well. This color reminds me alot of "Strike A Pose", which IMO is a little bit darker and a little more plummy than this lippie...maybe it's Pose's playful younger sister. This color would probably be my spring/summer choice, and Strike a Pose fall/winter. Very wearable for all occassions, and suble enough to enchance without being totally out there.

Naked Paris looks very different on the lips than in the tube. The formula is sheer and shimmery; subtle. I have fair skin and full lips. This color is effortlessly chic on the lips; a neutral brownish pink with shimmer. It's one of those colors that goes with everything, from jeans to an evening gown. And, it's a neutral that won't make you look dead or scarily pale!

This lipstick pairs amazingly well with Power Supply plushglass, too.

The previous reviews describe the color as a mauve/brown with shimmer. On me, it looked almost a purplish brown with a significant amount of shimmer that I did not like. I'm the minority...I am not impressed with this product.

When I first saw this color, I wasn't thrilled, as I don't typically go for brown-ish lipsticks at all. But it still looked pretty in the tube, and I decided to try it on anyway...I'm glad I did! When applied, this does NOT look the same as the color in the tube. It's quite sheer, and goes on a light plummy beige...and the sparkle adds a little "oomph" to what might otherwise be a boring shade. I think the sparkle is what truly makes this shade pretty. Really like this one!

Naked Paris looks like a confection of glitter and dark brown in the tube. Looking at the actual lipstick, its not a colour that I would ever think would look good on me (NC44, pigmented lips). When I tried it, I was in love! Its a dark plummy-brown colour on me, and what looks like chunky glitter gives it a wonderful moist sheen - kinda like a slimshine without the slippery feel. Love it!!

I haven't bought a MAC Lipstick for years. Today I received Naked Paris from Back 2 MAC and I'm in love. It's a lovely slightly brownish rosey-mauve shade, very natural looking and wearable, the silver glitter are almost invisible.

Naked Paris is so gorgeous! On my NC37 skin w/pretty pigmented lips, this is an awesome MLBB shade. The shine/sheen it gives off does a great job of livening up my entire face -- I don't even need to wear gloss with it!

My only gripe would be that there are usually a few leftover silver "microglitters" that remain on my lips after the lippie fading OR taking it off, but it's not so much of a nuisance.. the color is so pretty applied, it doesn't even matter! I've had NO experience w/the microglitters in this lipstick being gritty.

It's best described as a plummy/berry/wine/brown (more berry-wine than brown) w/a beautiful glossy sheen. It doesn't turn orangey or peachy at all. The lustre formula is moisturizing as always, although reapplication will probably be needed every few hours (as with all lustres).

Overall, I love this..It would be in my Top 5 MAC lipsticks (and I've tried a ton!). Definitely try it if you can get your hands on it!

This is a really beautiful natural-toned lipstick that I could see being professional yet fun. It is a bit shimmery, but it's not to much.
