I bought this because I wanted a nice, natural looking color while still having shimmer. And this is exactly what I wanted. The color is a kind of peachy champagne color that has a nice soft finish. It's not really opaque, but you can definitely darken it up with a few layers. I'm usually not that big a fan of slightly sheer colors, but this works really well as a highlight shade or as a base color when I use more. I will be buying more when I hit pan.

I am thoroughly impressed in Urban Decay's eyeshadow. I purchased the Naked palette after all the rave reviews, I don't usually wear lots of eye makeup. If I do it's only one shade at a time and it's always a neutral color. I purchased blaze because I wanted a champange-y shimmery eyeshadow that would be great for wearing on my eyelids and the inner corner of my eyes. I found that half-baked, while being pretty was almost too gold for my preference and sin was a little too cool, appearing almost a frosty ash on my eyelids. Blaze is perfect for my olive-tan skin tone. It's definitely a peach champange color, but does not appear to be too orange or red. The shimmer is not annoyingly glittery either and the staying power is great. Will be repurchasing again.

I describe Blaze as a peachy-gold color. It doesn't look orangey on me. Brings out my green eyes and I would repurchase.

This is so beautiful. This is a great natural eyeshadow. It has no fallout, and great application. It stays on all day, even without primer. I am you, so I can wear this to school without looking like I am wearing too much makeup. You don't have to wear eyeliner with this color, because it is so beautiful already. I am so happy with this product and I will definately purchase this again.

I love Blaze. As everyone has already said, this is an apricot/peachy/gold. So light, warm and soooo spring-y! Just gorgeous! I regularly wear it as a wash (with Vapor as a highlight) and it instantly brightens my eyes and makes the green in them look sooo pretty. I wear all my shadows with UDPP and none of them ever crease or fade. I paid $17 for this at Ulta and I would absolutely purchase another one if/when this one runs out. Another hit from Urban Decay!

Blaze is a nice shimmering apricot champagne shadow. It's a wonderful all-over color for the lid. All UD shadows are very long-lasting, especially when paired with a primer. This shade is very shimmery, but it has no glitter.

HG status. I use this eyeshadow as a wash in my everyday look. It applies smoothly, never creases (I use it with UDPP), lasts all day, and never fades. It is pretty shimmery in the sunlight, but otherwise looks pretty natural and brightens up the eye area nicely (I'm NC20 and it looks like a peachy gold on me).

Beautiful formula, applies so smoothly and shimmers just enough. I'm returning mine, however, as I'm rather pale (MAC NC15, MUFE 118) and this comes across as something a bit lighter than traffic-cone orange on my lids. Doesn't quite make my blue eyes pop just due to how orange it shows up (as opposed to bronze) but if you're any darker than me, I'm sure this would be a super flattering color. Pale chicks proceed with caution, though!

I absolutely love Blaze. I fully admit that I bought it because it has the same name as my favorite album, but I was pleasantly surprised that it's now a total HG as well. It's warm and shimmery enough that it's a great wash color for me when i want something that isn't as pale as Sin or Sellout. The texture is just divine and it wears all day on me with just a little UDPP. It's definitely one of my top 10 UD shadows.

Another gorgeous eyeshadow from Urban Decay.. A peachy gold with the perfect amount of shimmer to make your eyes glow. This really brings out the green in my hazel eyes. I've been pairing with Jones, Smog and MAC Cranberry, but its beautiful on its own as a wash too.

Like butter! I love this shadow. It looks like a golden color in the pan but when I apply it it is actually a golden orange. That is fine by me, though, because I have blue eyes so it really helps them pop! I don't have to pack on the color either because the pigmentation is fabulous! It is a shimmery color without being over the top. I wore it all day and out in the heat with no creasing (that is over top of too faced shadow insurance, though). I love Urban Decay shadows. I have yet to be let down by the end result. I would repurchase if I ran out, but there is quite a bit in the pan so it will be awhile before I will need to.

I think maybe if you have a good amount of existing pigment on your eyelid already (as I do) this doesn't really show up.

Anyway, the texture is lovely and the pigment is excellent. On me, it just doesn't really show up other than a champagne sort of shimmer. My eyes are blueish/greenish/grayish and I was hoping this would pop the blue. It didn't. Sad.

I got this on accident, I clicked the wrong shade. I tried it anyhow, and I forgot I was wearing it, and my guy friend kept looking at me in my psychology class. I asked him what was up, and he said, "I dont know. I...you look really good. Your eyes look bluer or something. I was trying to see if you were wearing colored contacts. You look pretty."

Needless to say, I wear it all the time now, and I still get random "Your eyes are so blue!" comments from time to time.

LOVE this stuff.

I needed a neutral eyeshadow to wear to work every day, and this is it. It makes my blue eyes POP. Good job, Urban Decay!

Ugly on the outside (packaging) but beautiful on the inside which is what counts. I'd describe it as a slightly metallic lightish glowy bronze tinged champagney/peach color that's not bright and tacky somewhat neutral, never seen another eyeshadow like this one. Looks amazing on my green eyes, I imagine it would look stunning on blue eyes.

This is a beautiful shimmery peach champagne shade, just like the description says. It's richly pigmented and blends well. I am beginning to love Urban Decay shadows more and more all the time! I love peach shadows, but a lot of them are just not wearable for me (MAC Paradisco is one). This is more or less a neutral shade, so I think it would look good on just about anyone. It looks really pretty paired with Toasted for a neutral eye, and paired with Last Call for something with a little more color. I want to try this with a purple shadow... I bet it would look great with green eyes!

This is a really pretty peachy gold color. I've been trying to get into more neutrals since up until recently I've mostly worn really bright eye makeup, and this is gooooorgeous! It's really pigmented and smooth and blends really well. I'd absolutely get this again!

Just a slight bit pinker than the frosty pale gold 'Half Baked'. I have been alternating between the two for the past several days. As in my other review, this Urban Decay shadow is very fine, and used wet, it stays on all day. Use it for a natural look, or glam it up! Very versatile - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Shimmering golden peach. Could almost be described as a light bronze.
The application is wonderful. Very easy to blend. Very easy to sheer out as light as you want.
I use this shadow quite often. It is lovely alone or paired anything from browns & neutrals to purples & blues.

Great everyday shadow. Lovely peachy shimmery color. Looks very nice on my green eyes. I can see this being a very versatile color. Looks good in my crease and all over the lid. I am amazed at how smooth UD's eye shadows are. But seriously at this point I think it's the combination of the eye shadow and the primer. When used together I have flawless eye makeup all day. No smudges. And that to me is very important..well worth the 14 dollars and I am planning on buying more colors soon! Another plus, it's animal friendly. :)
