This is sheer, but an extra layer can boost the color enough. It isn't drying on me, rather moisturizing actually. My lips tend to be dry. On me, this color is NUDE. I mean, it looks like I am wearing NOTHING, but with a very light sheen and even coloring. I was looking for a nude lipstick and this definitely fits that description. However, I still would like a nude that's maybe a little LESS nude. I'm keeping this for when I do a super smoky eye. It is peachy-pink in color.

i tried to like this lipstick, i really did. after seeing it in many online reviews and youtube videos it looked gorgeous and i had to buy it. it looks horrible on me!

i'm not quite sure why it looked bad, but i was disappointed. it really exaggerates the cracks in my lips and makes them dry and chapped looking. the color comes out too sheer and makes me look pale and washed out. really nice color, but not for me. :(

I am normally a big fan of Revlon's Super Lustrous lipsticks and I have many of them, but the formula of "Just Enough Buff" is not quite as nice as the others. Although some shades can be sheerer than others, overall I am used to them being really smooth, creamy, & easy to apply. I love the colour of "Just Enough Buff" but it goes on a little unevenly and it is really, really sheer. Even though it says it's a creme finish, it seems more like a pearl and has shimmery, almost glitter particles in it. I love the peachy nude shade and it looks really pretty with fair skin (not all nudes are flattering on us pale girls) but I wish the formula and pigmentation was better on this one.

Shade description: peachy nude

PROS

- flattering on my NC37 skin tone
- creamy

CONS

- sheer (but buildable)

COMMENTS: This is pretty sheer, but I can build the color up. I find this nude to be very flattering against my olive skin tone, so it's very easy to wear. Overall, the pigmentation could use some more work...but I love the color and formula.

Will repurchase.

I almost gave up on this lipstick because it went on really sheer and looked like the color was pooling anywhere my lips had the slightest crease. Lip liner didn't fix it, a gloss over top was ok, but I wanted to keep the peachy shade, not mute it with a gloss.

I finally found how to get the color I wanted on my lt/med pigmented lips. I grabbed my lip brush, swirled it into the lipstick and applied it. It looked so much better. If you're on the verge of tossing it or returning, try using a brush, it just might change your mind.

This lipstick is sheer and has poor color payoff. I will not repurchase.

This lipstick is okay. I didn't like it because its the exact same color of my natural lips. It just gave them a bit of shine. If I wanted that id just buy some lip gloss. It goes on nice and smooth like all revlon lipsticks so if you have a lighter shade of lips and want something a bit darker id go for this.

This is one of my most used/safest, 'go to' lipsticks. Its a gorgeous peachy nude with the slightest silver flecks in it-- giving it a pearly sheen to the lip. I'm no fan of frosty/glitter lips EVER, but this much I can handle; because its not gritty or obvious on the lips, really translates into a shine. You really have to look up close in the sun to see the silver. I love this on tan/dewy skin especially---> converts into a sultry look.

WARNING: its on the sheer side (I wish it was opaque) so it will settle into fine lines (beware if u have pigmented lips) AND exaggerates dry lips to the extremeee. I have neither so I adore this shade; it never gives me the dead look (I'm NC20) that its cousin Nude Attitude by Revlon gave.

I like how it doesn't wash you out when wearing this. I like it a lot!! It is the only nude lipstick that I can actually pull off, without me looking like a crack-head...lol. Other nude lipsticks just don't fit me and I usually stay away from nudes...but this one gives me second thoughts!!love!

This is a very natural sheer nude color do not expect rich pigmentation or the blank out nude,as i feel that it is meant to be sheer....but I do see little gold microshimmer but not frosty at all. I do like this since it is a very natural subtle nude that is great for day time. I love fairest nude but I like that for night since that's not a subtle nude on me. This is nice. I didn't expect it to be sheer nude but I was looking for a nice subtle nude for day time anyway. I'm happy with it since I only paid .99 cents I could see people being unhappy if they paid more and wasn't what they expected. I don't think I would buy it again since I like to try alot of different lippies. If I use the whole tube then that would mean that I didn't get bored enough and should repurchase, time will tell it . I don't find it drying and actually find it somewhat creamy. I give a 4 for lasting power but I would rather have a somewhat creamy lippie with slightly less lasting power then one that lasts and is extremely drying.NC42

Nice lipstick. Very nourishing and creamy. I like how this applies and it doesn't look ashy on my skin. Very nice.

Mehhh, this stuff isn't too great. The color is nice enough but when I try to build it up it almost starts to get pasty or blotchy or something. But I really just hate that it doesn't last very long. Like an hour if I'm lucky. Luckily I didn't pay very much for it.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews for this shade, I love it. I agree that it's very subtle, which is what I like about it, it's a nice peachy nude. I guess it can at times look a bit too light depending on what color shirt I'm wearing, which is why I usually wear it along w/ dark colors. It contrasts my dark eyes and dark shirt nicely. I think it's a great shade for the office. And as with this entire line of lipsticks, it has great staying power, it's inexpensive and readily available (5$ at walmart), and it doesn't have an icky chemical smell like so many other lipsticks.

Hardly shows up on me. Mostly is just a shimmer on my lips. Also it's a bit drying. Won't be repurchasing.

I was looking for a nude lipstick and, like most women, found it hard to find one that was flattering and not pasty. I had high hopes for this one but It seemed to blend into my face (yellow undertone, fair-medium). I kept thinking it needed just a teeny bit more color to be perfect. Might be good layered on top of another lipstick, though, for shimmer. The search continues...

Revlon Just Enough Buff is a sheer-ish, but buildable nude-peach without any orange. According to the label, it is a creme finish, but I do see little gold microshimmer in the lipstick bullet. While some shimmer does show up on my lips if I look very closely, it's not frosty at all. Make sure your lips are well-moisturized before you use this, because the lipstick will cling to any flakes on the lips. Like I said, it's not orange, so the color is flattering to my cool, pale skin, and I think it would be flattering to many skintones. This would be a good nude if you find most nudes to be too beige or gray. It's good with smokey eye looks, but it also doesn't wash me out if I wear it for day. It's definitely a good, not-dated offering from Revlon.

This product was really a let down. I don't know if it is my individual lipstick but it goes on feeling really grainy. I've even scraped the top to expose a new fresh layer, still grainy. The pigmentation is less than fabulous. It's really too sheer. The entire reason I bought this was because of the photo of Halle Berry I saw wearing it...yea, they coudn't have used that lipstick because it does not look like that. Thumbs down for this lipstick and it's a shame because I was so excited about it!

this is a very natural sheer nude colour on my lip and turns out to be my favorite nude for now. i have tried different nude colours from different brands but this definitely is the more sheer and natural one. however, like said by the other reviewer, do not expect rich pigmentation as i feel that it is meant to be sheer....

Most disappointing Revlon Product. I love Revlon, but this lipstick is too sheer. I can't even see it when I apply it on my lips. I don't recommend it at all.
