I'm giving this a "1" for price because I recently got it for two bucks from Sephora. I usually don't buy stuff on sale at Sephora because I'm scared that it's expired, or dried up, or the pigments don't work anymore. However, when I saw this gorgeous blue, I had to take it because blue eyeliner looked so pretty on the Anna Sui Fall 2012 show. Although this product was so hard to work with and was not waterproof at all, for two bucks, I would not complain so much. However, I don't think it will be on sale any longer, so no I'm not going to buy it again at its normal price.

I just had to write a review here and up the rating of this liner. I absolutely LOOOVEEE this eyeliner!! Keep Kohls are the ONLY eyeliners I use now! They're so smooth and easy and creamy to apply, but creamy doesn't mean that it smudges. Not in the least bit! It stays put the whole day long and until I want to take it off. I can even swim with it and it won't budge. I have allergies and oily skin and this liner won't budge. I use a MAC professional sharpener and never have problems sharpening it either. I use one of these Keep Kohl eyeliners every day so I buy them all the time. Only wish they had more colours.

I loved the colour and was excited to try it out. What a disappointment! It smudged even though I was wearing eye primer. By noon I looked like an idiot it had smudged so bad. I tried to wipe it off but had a hard time because I did not have any eye makeup remover with me. My lids were red for 1/2 hour after but they still looked better than when the liner was smudged there. Do not buy this! It was a waste of $8 for me! Thank heavens it was only $8.

I normally don't write reviews, but this is one of my favorites--it's a deep, tealish blue that is dark enough to use anytime, but still registers as blue. It wears like iron on my upper lid; no fading, transferring, or smudging (although you can purposefully smudge it with the handy smudger on the other end if that's the look you're going for). I bought this along with 4 other MUAers who also bought it at a MUA meet-up at Sephora. We all had to have it once we swatched the gorgeous color and found that it refused to budge! Yet it came off easily with remover. It doesn't work on the lower lashline or waterline at all--it will smear there, but most liners do, so I don't count this against the liner. Beware, if you do try it on the lower lid, the smudging will be particularly awful because it will be blue and conspicuous! Aside from that, this is an excellent long-wearing liner in a truly unique color. I love to wear it with bronzey eye shadow, and am tempted to get a backup in case Sephora ever foolishly decides to stop making it.
UPDATE: It's still a great color, but it tends to be hard and difficult to apply. Sharpening just before use helps, but for that I'm knocking it down to a 4.
UPDATE 2: I tossed this. It dried up pretty quickly and was impossible to use.

OMG!! Awful, awful awful stuff. It DYED my contacts blue! I was looking for an $8 product so I could get Free Shipping from Sephora. I typed $8 in the search engine and it brought this product up. It "claimed" to be waterproof, so I figured "why not"? OMG, it smeared all day on me although it did look good as long a I kept swiping with a Q-Tip. But, one of my co-workers kept commenting on how "blue" my eyes were, more than normal. I couldn't figure out why...until I removed my contacts and say that instead of the middle being the usual pale blue the WHOLE contact was blue. I had to rinse them repeatedly to get them clean. I will never buy this again. And god only knows what damage it may have done to my contacts. My eyes however, were find and there was no stinging or redness.
