I was looking for a bb cream that would work for my oily/acne prone skin. I bought this when bb creams were becoming more popular so there weren't as many bb creams in the market at the time of purchase.
I read some good reviews on this bb cream and that it worked well on oily skin. Honesty, I don't think it's great for oily skin. I notice I do get pretty oily in maybe 3 hours more of less depending on the weather, and I always set it with a finishing powder.
I like the coverage of this bb cream. It has a light to light medium coverage, and its fairly buildable. I got the shade 2 and it looks a bit orangey out the bottle, but it blends nicely into the skin. I like to apply it on with my fingers or a stippling brush. It also didn't irritate or break me out which is always great.
As far as the scent, I really like it! It doesn't smell like makeup, it smells like a scented lotion to me. The scent is kind of strong, if someone is close enough to you they can smell it off your face. If you are sensitive to strong scents or just don't like your makeup to be scented, I would stay away from this product.
Overall, I do like this bb cream but it's not a good bb cream for oily skin. I would say this would work better on someone not so oily like me.

This bb cream smells great and texture is not too thick so it is easy to spread. I have shade # 2 and it is okay for my NC35 skin, Just slightly lighter than my natural skin tone but works well to brighten up the face a bit and blends pretty well into your skin. I only use it on my blemishes and not all over my face since it may clog pores as I am acne prone. I only use it every once in awhile as a concealer or when I am going out for an event. The coverage is pretty thin and sheer so if you have dark scars or under eye circles they may still show through but just lightened.

(+)
-It smells good (for me, at least).
-It is a light, easy to spread BB cream, good for daily use.
-It is cheap.
-The texture is smooth, not a sticky one.
-The dewey effect is almost perfect. It leaves you a moist appearance yet it does not make your skin look too matte, too oily or too dry.
-It has a nice yet light formula that suits my oily skin so somehow it does not cause acnes.
(-)
-Low coverage ability. If you have pimples, dark spots, redness, marks, or any of those, you have to apply much amount in order to cover your skin or else it will be still clearly visible.
-Low viability. It started to fade just after 3-4 hours and if you blot your face even with the softest tissue, you will get some residue of this BB cream.
Conclusion:
Overall this is a nice BB cream, if only I am not looking for a long lasting BB cream, I will definitely repurchase.

Of all the BB creams I reviewed this is my favorite. It is a dupe (to me at least) of the La Mer TM. Same performance, texture, etc. Side by side Shade 2 of the SF is nearly identical to medium of the LM.
Pros:
SPF 20
Natural look. After 10 minutes the shade blends with your skintone and looks like a better version of your own skin.
Very inexpensive if purchased online.
Nice mild scent.
Not too dewey, not too matte.
Larger amount than the other SF BB creams.
Cons:
None

The coverage is qite light, but still enough to cover minor imperfections. Doesn't accentuate dry patches, so can definetely be used on those with dry skin. Looks devy and nearly perfect upon application, but gets shiny and starts sliding from my face after about an hour despite primer and setting powder AND setting spray (!!!). So this is not good enough for everyday use in the office. I still keep my tube for occasional application on weekends while at home and can be worn 2-3 hours without turning very ugly. For the reference I have combo skin with oily T-zone, so probably ladies with dryer skin can still make it work. The finish is beautiful and very natural. I just wish it lasted longer.

It's an okay bb cream, not my favorite cause it didn't wow me (looked about the same with and without). This will be something I'd go for when I'm doing the minimal makeup look. It can feel quite sticky when first applied, but a little bit of Gurelain Meterorite will fix that. I don't recommend wearing BB cream without translucent powder on top.

This is an average Korean BB Cream. At the cheapest end of the spectrum, it does quite well as a moisturizer, oil controller, and evens out the skin color of your face. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is little to no coverage for blemishes or dark spots. As for the "aloe qualities" promoted by Skin Food, I haven't seen any major improvement to my skin quality after using this product everyday for 2 months.
I have porcelain Asian skin that is very fair, so there are by far much better options for me as far as Asian BB Creams go. Therefore, I wouldn't repurchase.

I like this bb cream. I have a really light skin tone, so #1 suitet me quite nice. The coverage are indeed quite sheer, but you can try to double it up. This bb cream is not to oily on my skin (weey).
Since the coverage somethimes are to sheer for my liking i mix this bb cream with my shiseido foundation, and the result is awesome!

This is a good BB Cream, my first Skinfood BB cream. It really moisturizes my skin and it last long. At first when I apply it, my face becomes kinda pink-ish but then it becomes normal and gives a matte look. Finish with compact or loose powder and you're good to go. This is my everyday BB cream. It doesn't give much coverage which is pretty great because I don't really like cakey effect on my face. But for some occasions I need to cover my imperfections I just use concealer before applying this and it's perfect.
Pros:
- Perfect everyday BB cream
- Light, non-cakey BB cream
- Smells nice
- Moisturizes skin well.
- Last long.
- Only need a VERY small drop into your hand, it can be used for the whole face.
Cons:
- I think this is for Koreans who have paler/whiter skin than me. I have yellow/brown undertone and I don't think this is very suitable for me.
- When I'm sweaty or tired or it's really a hot day, my face gets kinda pink/red-ish. But only for a few minutes.
- Literally no coverage. So this isn't very useful when you need to cover some flaws in your skin. Totally a day bb cream.
I don't think I'll purchase this again. I'm still searching for a perfect BB cream.

This bb cream is not the best but there are literally close to a hundred bb creams on the market right now so its hard to know which is really best
I have tried about 10-20 bb creams and nothing about this one really stands out, its just another bb cream
I tried this one in the color #1 radiant and when first applied its slightly too pale but then adjusts when it oxidizes
The one thing about this bb cream that I liked was that it looks extremely natural, it seems to "feed into" the skin unlike some other bb creams that just sit on the skin and look like makeup
This bb cream is also less oily than ones like lioele beyond the solution and skin79 hot pink but its not completely oil free it does start to get shiny after a couple of hours, also the coverage is pretty good id give the coverage a 4 out of 5
The one thing that I really dont like about this bb cream is that is super thick compared to some others... which means its not good for your skin! Im glad I did not buy the full size and only bought some samples...my hunt continues for the perfect bb cream

This is my first bb cream and I hated it.It was thick and greyish.I was so disappointed I swore off bb cream in general for like half a year until I came across a video on how to apply BB cream.
Now I just dot the cream on my face and pat gently.
I use this more as a makeup base before applying powder foundation because the coverage is not enough for my ance marks.
BB creams are supposed to improve your skin and it is true for this BB cream for me.My face has become smoother and my scars are slowly fading.I can see obvious improvement on my cheeks where there are a lot of small acne marks.
But my face has become fairer as well within a month so I'm thinking maybe I should stop using it after my scars fade.

This bb cream seems to be a little thick and while it does give good coverage, i think that it does seem to give me occasional outbreak. I have an unfinished tube and have long changed to more water based bb cream

I received samples for this and shade was in light beige.
I applied the bb cream after moisturizer.
Pros - Love how it glided smoothly on my face. I realized I have to use very little, so my face don't look chalky.
Cons - Light coverage, not enough to cover blemishes/faded or fresh acne scars. I was in OIL-VILLE the entire day. This is definitely NOT oil-free and/or suitable for combination/oily skin.
I also didn't use a primer before the bb cream so I'm not sure if that has to do with anything.
As much I love the properties it has (calming skin and etc), unfortunately, I will not be using this.

after tried Skinfood peach sake pore BB cream #2 that I found too yellow for me, Skinfood Aloe Sun BB cream ends my searching for the decent BB cream. Decent, as in not overpriced, sheer-medium coverage, and do what it says.
if you want to get full coverage, get nars or bobbi brown. if you want sheer coverage, daily use, cheap, low-risk [price vs break outs vs 'this is too heavy/tricky for daily use'] unless your daily basis includes running from one photo shoots to another, BB creams are good enough.
it comes in a tube, so it's less annoying than peach sake pore bb cream with its lousy pump.a pea-sized is enough for the whole face.
i don't usually use this alone. i put primer first, then skinfood BB aloe sun BB cream [i have shade #2, which curiously blends very well for my NC25 skin], then put some thin layer of powder mineral foundation on top. lasts for 8hrs, no greasy feeling or dryness. it's nice, and i just wear my 2nd skin, only better.
will repurchase? sure.

This bb cream is a bit darker and pinker than most bb creams and promises soothing moisturisation so I picked it up. The tone is ok for my NC25/30 skin. The texture is smooth and goes in easily. I don't find it that moisturising but it does make my skin nice and smooth looking. I wish bb creams were more friendly for my skin tone so I could find a "perfect" bb cream

I had trouble finding the perfect bb cream since most of them contain whitening, which I am allergic to. So when I got the SkinFood Aloe BB Cream sample, I tried and liked it immediately..and bought the full-size right away. It spreads nicely to my skin, and makes my skin looks porcelain-y. I don't have any issue with acne or uneven skin tone, thus I do not need a heavy coverage. But whenever I need to look more awake, this is the thing I reach for. I do not know about the lasting effect since most areas of my face are dry and nearly all products stay on me until I wipe them off.
I'm not a fan of the packaging. The tube contains ridiculous amount of air from the beginning (and who knows how many products is in there!) and it gives me hard times squeezing the product out.
I'll repurchase until I find another non-whitening BB cream which suits me better than this one.

I was looking for a new bb cream to try out after finishing the missha perfect cover bb cream. I thought that bb cream was only "okay, or decent" when compared to the skinfood aloe bb cream. It's coverage is great--a little bit goes a long way, but it doesn't necessarily cover up bad dark circles. I don't have a lot of acne so the coverage with this cream is perfect for me. It's not too thick and may come on a bit light in color at first but blends in well and the color matches my skin very well after it sets. I chose this cream because i saw reviews on its great OIL CONTROL. It doesn't make my face all oily at the end of the day used with a primer and a powder to set it! It also smells great! I love the flawless look it gives and makes my make up routine so much faster and easier. Haven't noticed any SKIN improvements at all an i've been using this for about 3 months. Definitely worth a try since its not that expensive!!!

I actually got a sample of this product, and it was shade #1 which is the lightest. Amazingly, it matched my skin tone very well. It gave me a matte finish, neutralized my red cheeks, and my skin looked clearer. This BB cream was easy to blend for me, especially when I applied it with my fingers. My face felt very moisturized after application so I was pretty happy with that. After a day, my face was still semi-matte, but that was expected. It is pretty cheap, about $9+ on eBay.

I just looove this bb cream. It's got the typical korean bb cream texture: it's thick and kinda siliconey, if that makes sense.
But i think it's great not having to apply several layers of the product for a good coverage. The application is quick and foolprof. I do it with my fingers, cause i found it could look streaky when applied with a brush.
The only tiny problem i have with this bb cream is the color. It's not greyish like the skin79 ones, but it has a pink undertone to it that just doesn't go with my light yellowish skin. Nothing that a little powder can't fix though.
As it is super inexpensive, i recommend you to try it, especially if you've never tried any asian bb creams.
