Also agree that this product is too greasy for my face. It didn't have any effect on how my skin looked, except it did make my foundation stay a bit longer. Still, I would not repurchase and would try another primer.

Waste of money. Smells weird. Does nothing. Feels oily & makes my face feel gross. This wasn't cheap when I bought it. I've tried it out several times. I wanna throw it away and should.

I found this on sale for relatively cheap, and due to my overall good luck with Revlon products, I wanted to believe that this could be good.

Honestly, it just kind of does nothing.
It's not terrible, but it's not great either.

I noticed that my foundation was kind of applying a bit streaky on top of this, I just continued to buff it out until it was smooth.
I think that it does increase the staying power of certain foundations, but as someone with dry skin, almost all primers will do that to some extent with my skin.
I can't imagine oily skinned ladies would enjoy this at all, but I have seen some beaming reviews from combo/oily gals.

I'll continue to use it just to see if there's any way to benefit from this,I really don't want to waste it, but I have several other primers that work way better than this one. Wouldn't repurchase.

This primer just wasn't right for my skin at all. It made my face appear very oily and shiny and after a few minutes it ended up feeling quite sticky. I also started to break out and my face felt quite itchy which is unusual as I don't have sensitive skin. It made no difference in regards to my foundation either, it lasted the same as it would without the primer. I was expecting it to feel very soft and almost 'velvety' like other primers I have tried but this simply didn't do that. It did the same job as my moisturiser was doing beforehand so I definitely wouldn't purchase this again. If you have dry skin, then this may be suitable, it's all down to personal preference.

This is reallllllly nice primer.
Makes makeup stay on perfect all day
doesnt feel sticky or oily etc
smoothes your skin
its beautifull and ive tried others like photoready primer but found that it was too thick and masky.. made my face feel like i was prepping it to apply clay or concrete or something..

I have extremely dry skin, and this product definitely helped to smooth liquid foundation into it. It only takes a little product to achieve this effect, which is nice. The squeeze tube is nice, as it lets you control how much of the product you want, and it is very un-messy. This is the first primer I've tried, and although it is good, I would have to try out more brands before I ultimately decided to buy this again, but it is a solid product regardless.

PROS: I love the smell ^.^ & it did make powder/mineral foundations I've tried go on smoother. The packaging is also good, not messy at all.

CONS: The smell is nice...but it's very perfumy, and made me breakout :P Although it did make my foundation go on smoother, it didn't make it last! This also made me kind of oily. This came with the Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup, and was a better deal together. A terrible foundation btw! Anyway...seperate, this is overpriced imo! I wouldn't buy this again.

Love love love this primer! I have super oily skin that turns into the BP disaster within about an hour after applying full foundation with powder.

I am very pale skinned with amber eyes and dark brown hair, and my skin burns within a few minutes of sun exposure, so I'm super paranoid about using sunscreen. So, I use Cetaphil SPF 50 sunscreen all over my face underneath whatever foundation I use. Doing that always increases my oil dramatically; however, since using this wonderful primer (which I think smells terrible, but I don't care because it works), I can use the sunscreen underneath the foundation and find that my makeup still looks fresh at the end of a work day. Of course, I still need to touch up here and there, but nothing like before.

When I put this primer on over the sunscreen, it smooths out my skin, decreases the size of my manhole sized pores and completely sucks up the oily sheen left by the sunscreen. I think this is my HG primer. I hope they never discontinue it, because I don't know what I would do. I've tried more expensive ones that were okay but didn't manage to keep my makeup smooth and fresh.

I'm so surprised, too, because I would think that nothing could work for my oily skin, but this product has worked miracles for me. Now, I can wear practically any foundation I like (well, the one's I've tried, anyway) and it seems to work well with them. Not so much with L'Oreal True Match, which I've used for years; that one still gets a little oily on me, but lately I've been using Cover Girl True Blend and NO OIL SLICK happens with this primer. Go figure.

I really like this primer. It comes down to personal preference, but I much prefer silicon based primers to cream/fluid primers. I find that because this is a silicon/gel primer, it does not sink onto the skin and act like a moisturizer like a lot of creams do. It is definately not sticky on my face and dries quite quickly. Unfortunately the fact that it dries quite quickly is a con for me. I wish that the lovely smooth base it brings when you first apply it would last more than 1 minute. This means that I have to apply my foundation almost immediately after priming. I believe that full price it retails for around $20 (aud) however I bought mine online for around $9. I do really like this primer, but I wouldn't pay more than $14 for it. I have uploaded a picture. Hope this review helps, beautyqueens! x

Opossite to everybody preferences I do like primers to have that silicone feel. The reason why I prefer this is because it eases my foundation application and makes my makeup last longer. Because I could not find this primer anymore I bought Nuance Smooth Start Skin Primer and made me realize that you can expect more from primer as it makes my skin more even and better than with the Revlon primer.

this product is great! i have been using this for a week now, and it does not break me out.
those who thought it was oily, do try it again! unless it breaks you out. which is really unfortunate for such a gem. however, the secret to this is to ONLY use a little bit of it. this primer really smoothes out any large pores, and it makes my make up go on smoothly.

i cant comment about how long it lasts though, because i dont touch my face after my make up is done for the day, but my make up doesnt slide off even in a hot and humid country!

This prime makes my skin so smooth and easy to apply foundation and makeups. But there is one thing: I can feel that this product doesn't fuse with my skin. I dont know if its a bad or good thing, but I'm ok with it, I'm more to think its good cause u can feel there is a barrier between the bare face and makeup, which I dont feel the same way when I use MUFE HD prime (I don't feel any difference after applying it). It's quite affordable but a lil bit pricey for drugstore, looks good on normal to dry skin.

I'm glad I didn't purchase this product at full value. It came as a freebie with purchase of Beyond Natural foundation. It is not for people with oily skin. Though most reviews say the smell is overwhelming, I rather liked it, but didn't like how it didn't really dry when applied. Granted, I only used it a couple of times, I guess the last times were just another attempt in vein to hope it would work, not liking to waste products. It just seemed to stay wet on my face, and it didn't help my makeup last. I feel it encouraged oil even faster.

As others have said, this product is not for those of us with oily skin. I never really liked the feel of the product. I didn't care about the smell but I just didn't feel right putting this on. Like something deep down was telling me not to do it. It made my skin super oily, make up did not last longer and to add insult to injury, it broke me out! I thought this product was breaking me out but I wasn't 100% sure. I have a problem with acne anyway but had finally figured out the right products and routine and I hadn't had a breakout in 4 months. When I added this primer back to the routine, I started breaking out again. Needless to say, I'm trashing what I have and will not repurchase.

im really surprised at all the negative reviews on this primer!
i have combination skin, oily at my tzone, normal on my cheeks and dry around my mouth.
this primer makes my foundation/concealer apply on smoothly & evenly. after using this on my tzone, i find that it stays matte much more longer just after brushing on some translucent powder.
also makes my face look dewy, (which ive NEVER been able to achieve, after I set my makeup it's just totally matte)
however during summer, its been reaaally humid this year & I find myself looking greasy often but nothing a bit of powder cant fix.
during winter though, perfect for giving me the perfect dewy-ness. :)

I purchased this with high hopes of finding a primer. However this primer doesn't work for my oily skin. I think my foundation slides off my face whenever I wore it.

This is not for me. If you have oily skin, stay away.

I wanted to love it, but didint. Will not re-purchase. Only recommended for dryer skin types IMO.
