This stuff is EXPENSIVE and it is not a self tanner. It is an "airbrush" type spray product that is like foundation for your legs. I happen to be very pale so the color worked for me - but the coverage was not very dense and I have to spray it on over a towel (or in the shower and then clean the towel) or else I get particles all over my bathroom floor.

I don't know why this is in the catagory of "self tanner"..because it's temp airbrushed color (like sally hanson)..oh well
anyways, I like this one...except you have to get the darkest color (if you are looking for a tanned glow) since they are very matte, and too light or unless you are really white/pale.'
For the FACE--excellent...can be used like a foundation--won't rub off,,AT ALL. ;)
when I use this..here is my secret:
I use One Day Glow tan lotion (not a self tanner), but it gives you temp color..I spray some onto a bit of lotion..and mix both colors in..gives me a GREAT color....this is not as good as Sally hansons legs..EXCEPT for it's REALLY WATERPROOF..so I only use this ocasionally if swimming or going to the beach. Other than that, Sally hanson airbrushed legs is better with color and covering..this DOES cover spots, etc..but there seems to be more of a "pink" red undertone that they use. Again, either buy the darkest color..but use this with another temp lotion.
Actually, if you are willing to spend more money...go and buy Sex Symbol AeroTan--THAT one is better then Sally AND this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although Aerotan is not 100% waterproof, it does stay on VERY well, even a bit leftover in the shower (depending on how much you used). but if you have an unused bottle, spray some on your palm along with any temp. tan lotion...it will keep the lotion to last..better yet, any shimmer lotion works well with this to tone down the "matte" since natual looking legs have a slight "sheen" to them. ;)

I just bought this at a beauty supply store for $36 so I'm pretty upset to read that other reviewers bought this product for as low as 50 cents!!! :(
I got this to cover a bruise on my legs because I need to wear a dress tomorow. In the dim yellow lighting of the store, the "Terra Cotta" color looked perfect for my golden/tan skintone. Unfortunately, when I got home and tried it and saw what the color looked like in natural lighting- it was WAY too pink and too light. I have yellow undertones so this just didn't blend in well with my coloring- the only way to make my legs look uniform would be to spray my entire leg but then I would have pinkish beige legs. Yikes.
I'm going to go back to the store to exchange this for Dermablend concealer and hopefully that will cover my bruise without turning me pink.

I found this at big lots for $1 for a 0.7 oz can. I have it in natural and it's a very natural color on me. I've used the Sally Hansen spray body makeup before and I have to say that this is a far better product. The finish is natural and not super shimmery like the Sally Hansen. Also, the sprayer did not clog even once (and I've gone through a whole bottle already). I'm pretty sure this has been long discontinued, but it's good enough that I would look for it on ebay.

I got this at Big Lots for way cheap, I don't even know how much bacause I got it with a bunch of other bargain bin things. I find this product superior to the Sally Hanson in some ways: The applicator did not clog, the smell was not strong/chemical and the spray was easier for me to control.
One quibble: The Air Silk folks have not mastered color. The natural shade suits most people who are light skinned who need to cover veins/discoloration. I am a bit too olive/yellow for this but when I applied the Sally Hanson shimmer/glow product over this, it looks really nice. The other Air Silks all looked way too dark for me to even consider. Women of color might consider these BUT: watch for if the tone is too pink or orange. Sally Hanson has a better handle on color except for those who are very light in skin tone. However, I can't get their product out of the canister this year.

I bought both the Terra Cotta and Tan colors for $.50 each at CVS on clearance. I have to agree that the Terra Cotta color is not very attractive but for $.50 I don't feel bad about not using it. The Tan color however is AWESOME! I just sprayed it on and rubbed it in and it looked great, like I had nylons on. There was no streaking (I did not moisturize first but I did exfoliate.) It was waterproof, dried quickly and lasted until I showered with no rubbing off on my clothes. I won't wear a skirt or shorts without it! I liked it so much that I tried it on my arms and it looked great there too. I don't know why they don't make an all-over body version. The problem is I don't know where to buy it now :( I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas?

I don't really think this product should be listed under "Self Tanners" because it isn't!! The product is called "Air Stocking" by Premier Silk. The front of the bottle says "Silk powder and rich moisturizers designed to finish your legs flawlessly." I refuse to wear pantyhose - hate them and I'm 50 years old so my legs need help. I read that this was very good and I bought the "Terra-cotta" shade since I have an medium olive complexion. This product really made my legs look like "baloney legs." Really - like the color of a piece of baloney. I couldn't wait to wash it off. I'm not very good at applying self-tanners at all but I love wearing skirts and dresses and want my legs to look ok. I paid $28.00 for this and had to buy it online. If anyone else has tried this, I'd love to hear what they have to say about it. Maybe I'm not applying it properly but I've been a makeup junkie since I was 13 so I have product application down to a science. Reminded me of makeup that you see when someone is laid out in a funeral home.........):
