I really like this product. I'd been eyeing it for a while, but for some reason stayed away because it was spf 28 (what's that?) and not 30. Then i read the percent of active ingredients in other spf 30 sunscreens and it was the exactly the same. Hmmmm.
Anyway, this product is very light and smells excellent. It is moisturizing but not overly greasy. It does not sting my eyes. It has not broken me out or irritated my skin in any way and it is very inexpensive. It is not chock full of vitamins or anything, like Lancome Bienfait total, but then again, that one is 3x more expensive. Overall a very good product and not financially burdensome.

This moisturizer has been very good to me. It's gentle and nice on my skin. The scent can be overpowering. I like the SPF 28 but don't see why they couldn't go to 30 which is recommended. It doesn't hydrate as much as I'd like but that fine since I wear my Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer. Overall, good product but I may be in search of something with a higher SPF.

I bought this moisturiser because it was the only SPF containing moisturiser that I could find which doesn't contain Cetearyl Alcohol or Cetyl Alcohol. I can say that this has never contributed to my break outs.
I find this to be on the thick end of the lotion scale; it does take some rubbing to completely blend it into my face. If I don't rub it in properly, it can leave white smear marks on my face, and it can get caught up in my eyebrows too. This lotion is not at all greasy on my skin, which is great for sunscreen.
The fragrance in this lotion, like many Garnier products, is very strong. I don't enjoy feeling as though I am spreading perfume all over my face. I can still smell it as I am washing it off in the evening!
Overall, a fairly average product. But due to the lack of (affordable) moisturisers which contain a decent amount of SPF and no irritating ingredients, I will probably buy this again.

I loved this for summer use, a thin lotoin that feels nice and makeup goes over nicely as well. I really didnt see any difference in my skin like the box "shows" you will happen. Maybe my skin isn't so sun damaged then...? But I like it as a summer lotoin, now that fall and winter are on their way I'll be looking for day lotoins that are thicker(and yes with spf in it still).

I have acne prone skin, and it's hard to find a moustrizer/sunscreen combo that won't clog mypors and make me break out. I've had really good results so far with it, and it smells nice too! It goes on smoothly and settles quickly, I feel better knowing I'm getting protected from the sun. I also like the twist cap it has, makes it great for traveling.

So far, I love this moisturizer. For summer, I need something with a high spf, considering that I have very fair skin. This went on so smoothely and I haven't noticed any inflammation or irritation. And I spend $10 on it. Worth every penny.

I bought this more as a sunblock than a moisturizer, which I've never used due to my very oily skin. I've tried many oil-free sunblocks for the face that claim not to be greasy and not have that familiar sunscreen smell, and one or two are good. But I find that after using this product, makeup sits better on my skin than it does over a single-purpose sunblock.
I like the fact that this is creamy (but oil-free). Other moisturizer/sunblock combos, like Benefit's Sheer Oil-Free Facial Lotion, are liquid, and take too much time to sink into my skin. In addition, with liquid products, I wonder how much I have to use to get the amount of sun protection advertised. With Garnier's, I'm confident I'm getting enough, and it's a high level of protection--SPF 28. The pump is sanitary, and when the amount gets low you can unscrew the pump top and scoop the product out. It absorbs quickly and has almost no scent. When I first saw it, it looked like a small amount and I was afraid it wouldn't last long, but that has not proven to be true. And the price is reasonable. All in all, I'm very happy with this product and have already repurchased it.

I have fair, aging, acne-prone skin. Even in my mid-thirties, I struggle with breakouts, but I need moisture and SPF. I have tried everything, usually with awful results (breakouts). This has been a miracle. It is not greasy but spread easily. It has a pleasant but not overpowering scent. Best of all- I haven't had a single pimple since trying it.

This was just alright, nothing special. It absorbed well & made my face a little greasy because of the spf. I didn't notice any significant improvements from this with evening out skin tone or correcting sun spots. I honestly just think it does the same thing as any sunscreen would do. It was alright at moisturizing. There are many better products out there than this. I wouldn't buy this again.

I have been using this now for a couple of months. I really like it. I'm a huge fan of citrus scents in general, so the scent really doesn't bother me. This actually makes my skin feel like butter and works very well under my foundation. I also use the moisture rescue cleanser by Garnier which I also love. I tend to have very dry skin in the winter and as my HG foundation is EL's double wear I need heavy moisture under my makeup. If you have oily skin better skip on this one. Great for dry/normal skin. I have noticed "slight" improvement in my sun spots, but nothing drastic yet. I may try using this as my nightitme moisturizer as well as my derm said the sunscreen wouldn't hurt anything overnight. I like the higher SPF factor as well. I will continue to buy this until they discontinue it. (hoping they dont)

I was so disappointed that this product didn't work out for me b/c I love Garnier's products of all kinds but this one irritated my face so bad the very first day I used it that it felt like I had a terrible sunburn (& I had been indoors all day!)
Everything about it seemed great but it may be the fragrance that just made me so sensitive (even though I never am, usually).
I have been using Neutrogena SPF mixed with Bobbi Brown 15 SPF foundation as a kind of tinted moisturizer before but I want something that has more of a benefit for the skin than just sunblock & coverage so I think I will go back to Lancome's Bienfait SPF 30 since it has worked really well for me in the past, if only it didn't cost so much!

I struggle with both acne and aging skin and usually have trouble with moisturizers and sunscreen. This lotion doesn't break me out or sting, spreads easily, doesn't pill, dries down to a nice finish, and has SPF 28. Did I mention it doesn't break me out? It also doesn't migrate into my eyes and sting during the course of a day. I don't know if it has improved my sun damage, but my skin does look great and it's a great moisturizer with higher SPF. I like that it has both UVB and stable UVA protection along with antioxidants because I don't like to use multiple products on my skin. It has a citrus/fruit fragrance that I find pleasant. I've repurchased many times and think it is a great price for a great product. It works better for me than many more expensive products.

so i purchased this product about 6 months ago, i use it about 3 times a week and i still have about 1/4 of the bottle. i purchased this after garnier added the alcohol dent. into the formulation so i can't compare a before and after. personally i have pretty "good" skin. not acne prone, just pretty normal. i like the higher spf in this product and also enjoy the smell of this lotion. to me it's a light fragrance but i can see why others would not be so keen on it. especially those sensitive to frangrance. i like this stuff because it absorbs quickly and doesn't mess with my makeup application. also it doesn't feel like sunscreen. i haven't had an adverse reaction to this product at all. i might purchase this product again unless i find something better.

I like the idea of having an SPF 28, I like the pump dispenser and I also like the smell of this product but then when I applied on my skin it felt so heavy and since I have acne prone skin I just decided not to use it on a daily basis. I only used it when going to the beach or actually taking the sun on my backyard, but after sun exposure I did break out a little and existing break outs got worse; I'm not sure if should completely blame this product. Because I didn't want to waste the product I've been using it on the back of my hands as daily protection from sun damage and dark spots and so far I'm glad, I use my normal hand moisturizer and this product on top.

Not bad. Citrus smell is a little strong, but that fades, and you're left with a really decent moisturizer that doesn't irritate your skin.

I have been trying different ways to make this work for me, but I can't seem to get it to work for me. Every time I apply this, it pilles (is that the term?). Even today, I let it dry on my skin for many hours without putting anything over it and it still smeared together leaving areas of no product and other areas of product clumped together. I don't know how else to explain it. For me, I can't use it by itself, or on top of other moisturizer, and especially not with makeup. Keep in mind, I have dry skin.

I think this is a good product and I think it DOES work. IF it doesn't stink your face... like it did mine. So, I have been using it on my neck for about 2-3 months and I have to say it is quite nice for the neck area. SPF and I do notice the lines on my neck are not as bad and the skin is more even and bright. However, I will never buy this again since it burned my face - very painful... so only try if you are really not sensitive.

MAYBE - I'll buy this again.
Been using it for a few months - the improvement to my face has been minimal - barely noticeable - reduction of redness and some sunspots - just barely - and maybe due to time, not to the product.
The product is a very nice consistency, and a good sunscreen. I've been wearing it daily on my face and neck. I realize those few days when I forget it - because I get a little rosy in the cheeks.
Will I buy it again? I don't know. It's not doing what it says it will do - reduce sun damage to skin (maybe nothing can do that) - but it does do a nice job protecting skin from the sun as a sunscreen.
Scented - yes, this may be bothersome.
Keep it out of your eyes.
Another sunscreen -without any promises to reverse anything that's already happened to my face - might be my next purchase.

I've been using this daytime moisturizer for a long time. I love the consistency. It's not too thick or runny, making it perfect for my combo skin. I use one pump for my face and neck. It does feel thick when I first apply, but it absorbs into my skin in minutes, leaving it matte and comfortable. I don't breakout from this and it hasn't clogged my pores. The only thing I don't like about this product is the addition of fragrance. I don't mind the scent; it's not overpowering or offensive to me, but I believe that fragrance can be irritating, so why add it? Anyways, I give this a 4 out of 5, but only because of the fragrance. Best daytime moisturizer I've found for my skin.
Also, I feel the vitamin C in this really does brighten my skin. I feel it looks more clear and radiant these days.
