For some reason I love the scent of this better than the one by J&J. It is a nice light lotion that does a good job of moisturizing my skin without being sticky. I use this mainly for myself since my dd has eczema prone skin and she has to stay away from overly scented products, though I use a dab in her hair to control flyaways and minor bed head. Works well for that too. It is such a comforting scent for me so I will continue to buy it. It is cheaper than J&J as well.

I am a lover of "clean" fragrances (my signature scent is clean ultimate,) and thus often use j&j products on myself even though I'm 26. However, I never thought the typical j&j lotion in the pink pump bottle had *quite* the pleasant, chubby baby scent I was searching for--couldn't place my finger on why, it just doesn't smell the way I wanted. I always passed by baby magic, but browsing Walgreens late one night, I noticed that baby magic carries a thicker cream with 100% organic shea, and gave it a shot.
Mother of god, this is the scent! The second I opened the bottle, I knew baby magic products would be a staple in my bathroom for years to come, if only for the scent--but it gets better. The cream and the lotion are both wonderfully moisturizing, yet sink in with the quickness. I despise feeling greasy post-shower, and this solves that problem. I also highly recommend the dustless baby powder, which comes in a wonderful two-compartment compact (one side for cotton pads) is talc-free, and does the job all baby powders do with NO MESS!
The only places I've seen this line of product are Walmart and walgreens, but both places have excellent prices. Oh, and my 32 year old boyfriend adores (seriously adores) this lotion as well--on me, cos of the smell, and on himself! Who knew baby magic was so universal?

Ahhhh the memories! My parents used this on me 35 years ago. I am still a fan. Finding myself starting a second family after 13 years, I knew I needed some bottles of this for my new baby. It can be hard to find. I got mine at Super Walmart, and they were well stocked!! Love it ♥♥♥

I have been using this lotion forever it seems. Alright, just 33 years. My mom used it on my brother and I when we were babies, and it became a staple in our house. Now it is a staple in my house.
Now made by Ascendia, I remember when it was by Mennen. Then Playtex. Not quite as popular as Johnson's lotion, but pretty easy to find in grocery stores and drug stores in the US. By the way, this is the same lotion with the same fragrance that is currently being sold on ebay for high prices. Just look for a white bottle instead of a pink bottle. Different look, different manufacturer, but same lotion. Or at least, close enough.
The lotion is thin, sinks in easily and doesn't leave a greasy feel, and the best part: the Soft Baby (tm) fragrance. I can't describe the scent other than "clean" and not your typical powdery baby scent. Maybe a little like bubble bath. I used to layer this with my Coty Wild Musk in high school, and got compliments galore. I still wear it under my fragrance (currently a dab of Youth Dew bath oil). It just feels like "me" and makes me feel 7 again. Which is a great thing!
I hope somebody always makes this lotion, because as long as they do, I'll be buying.
Editing 5/8/13: I had to give this one up, as I have discovered that I am sensitive to most botanicals in products. Baby Magic contains aloe, which my skin has a big problem with. Disappointed to have to quit using this formerly HG lotion.
