Picked this up in Sephora Paris after spending quite a bit at the Armani/Prive counter. Heavenly scent, sweet - but not overly girly. Love how it doesn't overwhelm like other fragrances. Would definitely pick it up again!

Rose Alexandrie is very low on fixatives, and not particularly concentrated, so wears quite differently in dry areas like the wrist vs moist areas like the inner arm. It is almost impossible to appreciate this scent unless the body or the climate is humid.

The primarily Bergamot citrus top morphs into a tart tangerine after a few minutes. Shortly after, the fragrance enters Candyland for a bit, as the tangerine and rose briefly merge. I love the idea of rose and mimosa, but here the mimosa does not feel round and full as an absolute should. Good quality Mimosa reminds me of the Rousanne grape- full, slightly waxy, voluptuous, but dry. Here it is stingily used. As for the supposed star of the show, instead of being the anchor note, the Rose is abysmally shy- so much that I feel the scent has been ill-named. The moderately pleasant drydown is a waxy fresh combination of the Mimosa and the enduring Bergamot.

All in all, this is a very simple scent, not terribly artistic, interesting, or high quality.

Purchased during the last Saks' friends and family event so I got 15% off. That being said, I do like the scent. I won't repurchase because by the time I run out I will have moved on to a new scent!

I only discovered this range after buying a Privee candle in T.K Maxx. To be honest I avoid Armani or Versace finding it all a bit naff. I was VERY impressed with the incense candle's quality. So I tried rose as I love rose perfumes. It sparkles with a citrus note at first then drries down to gorgeous roses.

An expensive fragrance in a modern classy bottle. It is true that it is not a typical rose scent. It is however very delicate and feminine. I absolutely love it ! I feel it is ageless and can suit a women of any age. I find it hard to describe and can't really pinpoint a particular note, but I can say it is very classy and pretty !

Armani Prive's Rose Alexandrie smelled just like a cherry "SweetTart" (ie that kind of candy). There was absolutely no subtleness about it, nor any rose note that I could ascertain. It is hard to understand how a fragrance house like Armani Prive can create an ethereal iris masterpiece like Pierre de Lune and then simultaneously churn out something this sweet and icky.
