I purchased this color for college football season along with Summer Peach (GO TIGERS!) and it is the perfect purple color if you use the right top coat (I use OPI). I did notice if you do not use a top coat, it can be dull. I do not use this if it is not football season, however, so I can see how some people say they do not reach for this color very often. It covers well because always use two coats and it lasts forever.

I don't use this color very often, I've used it maybe once or twice, but I have seen a lot of people use it and I really like this color. It's a very different color. It's very bright, maybe even a neon fuchsia color, it's very pretty, though. At first, I was hesitant to like this color because it does dry really matte which I do not like, at all. It does become an awkward color when you just apply it to your bare nails, so I recommend putting one coat of a white polish on your nails and then going over it with this color a couple times, and it will look SO much better! I probably would repurchase this. But it's not my favorite nail color ever.

This is a beautiful color. The first coat looked like I used marker to color my nails. Yuck!! It dries really fast which is great but like everyone else said it dries matte and you need a top coat to get it to look like the bottle. I actually think that the final product (color + top coat) looked prettier than the color in the bottle.

Dream On is a very interesting color because it can have some seriously beautiful shades of purple fuchsia and in the right light it has some amazing bright tones to it.

It does dry matte, so be ready for that. It's not that I dislike matte polish, but I don't feel that this one does it very well. It shows EVERY imperfection if you plan to not use a top coat to keep it matte. So I suggest using a ridge filler for your base, and also making sure that your nails are pretty much perfectly shaped (whatever that may be for you).

If you do decide to use a top coat it DOES change the color a bit. Rather than the rich purples it turns much more pink. Not a bad thing but just something to be aware of.

Dream on is a beautiful neon purple fuschia shade-its kind of a hard to get cult or hyped up trend type color, if that makes sense. Its bright and bold, a shade one would expect only to find in higher end brands. So at around $2, I was/am impressed. Its a neon so it goes on matte but once a top coat is applied over it all lines disappear and dullness is transformed into bright shine. I figure its cheap and will chip like crazy so a top clear coat will help in that arena anyhow... This is my first experience with this brand and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised and will grab a few more at a fraction of the price of higher end polishes. If you dig brights, definitely grab this one!

Dream On (Sinful Colors) matte as most neons do and has the same problems on application. Thinner is your friend, my friend. Three coats is what it took and it still didn't completely cover. This also, like most neons, chips. Regardless of all the negatives, this is a gorgeous color that looks lovely and richly magenta indoors and bright and not quite neon when the sun hits it. I'd still recommend it despite the issues because once it is managed, it looks soooo good!

Absolutely fabulous pedicure color! One coat was streaky, but two coats was opaque. It's a neon, so it dries matte. (FYI, all neons dry matte) It's nothing that a shiny top coat won't fix. I used one coat of Nail Life Gripper, two coats Dream On, one coat Sally Hansen Diamond Strength in Flawless (clear), and one coat Diamond Dry. This combination lasted over a week on my toes!

Dream on is a nice deep plum purple shade that applies evenly and smoothly. I only needed one coat but I used two. With a clear top coat, the matte finish became a high gloss finish. Great price so I would repurchase.

My favorite pedicure color. Dirt cheap and easy to find. Needs two coats and DEFINITELY a top coat, as it dries matte.

This was my first Sinful Colors polish, and for the price I expected the quality to be less than satisfying, but I bought it anyway since I liked the color. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised. I just painted my nails this color and I love it! It's super bright and vibrant! I had to do 2 and even 3 coats on some nails, but that was okay since it dries super fast. You cannot get away with just one coat. It looks matte (which looks cool in my opinion) w/o a top coat. Even with a couple coats of this polish, it was a really quick manicure. I would definitely recommend this nail polish!

I love this color; it's kind of a bright fuscia. It doesn't look exactly the same on the nails as in the bottle, but it's still so pretty. I don't like the brush and it doesn't apply the best, but once I get the color even, I like it so much, that I can deal with that; also it's pretty inexpensive. It does have a matte finish, which I didn't know when I bought it and I don't really like what it looks like matte, but it's easily fixed with a shiny top coat.

Cool color. Its a bright summer fuscia but thats all this has going for it. The application is not good, it is very streaky, and it dries to an odd matte finish. Definitely need a top coat with this to make it look decent. It also chips within a day and the chips look as though someone scratched my nail?
I wouldn't repurchase, good thing this was cheap.

This has got to be the most difficult polish I've ever used. I already knew from previous reviews to expect the matte finish, but I have no issue using top coat to solve that. The color is great and with top coat is very pretty. But the application is terrible. I do not like the brush as I find it too long and skinny. It made the application even more streaky and difficult. I had so much polish on the skin around my nails, it was impossible to clean up. I use a brush dipped in acetone to clean up and usually that works great. But this time, it just wasn't coming off - either because there was too much to clean or the formula made it difficult. I ended up removing it all and using an OPI polish instead. I am glad that it was only $2.

In the bottle Dream On looks like an extra vivid glowing fuschia. On my nails it dries to a streaky, matte mess. It dries very very quickly so you have to work fast to get the color evenly applied or it will pull. I end up just blobbing it on my nail and smearing it around to get an even coat but that means extra clean up work with a qtip & its still not perfect. This is a hard polish to work with. I topped it off with a mattify top coat to even out the lumps and bumps so it looks halfway decent now but it sure was a pain to get it this way.

Horrible...I loved the color in the bottle, and although the color on your nails does not look the same, it is also extremely pretty. However, this dries with a matte finish, which I don't like, but still that was bearable with a top coat. The thing I absolutely could not tolerate was that it chips like crazy!! My Seche Vite top coat is usually excellent at having any kind of cheap nail polish stay shiny, vibrant, and chip free, but it didn't hold up with this polish. So disappointed since the color is really pretty. This is my first Sinful Colors nail polish, so I will be skeptical to try others.

This polish is so freakin' underrated. I don't get why so many people had such bad experiences. I picked this u randomly at Meijer the other day because they had a bunch of it on clearance... I got this for like $2 and it looks so bright and amazing in the bottle. It's extremely bright fuchsia/purple; it tends to change color though. I showed it to my s/o inside and he thought it was a bright fuchsia. Then later outside he commented on how my nails changed and were more purple - they were. I absolutely love that.

It's true that just one coat is very streaky and won't do it. Two coats was perfect for me. It came out even, bright, and creamy. It doesn't dry shiny or matte - it's kind of in between. I put on a top coat and it looks even better... I feel like I have bright Barbie nails.
This color is gorgeous!! I really wish I bought more since they had other colors on clearance :(. I'll check back next time.

Used to love wearing this color all the time. It's a bright magenta/pink color and is a matte polish. It applies opaque in 2 coats and has a nice shiny finish. I really like it because of its brightness. It's a really in-your-face pink. It lasts a decent amount of time for the price. Would recommend for those who aren't afraid to attract a little attention.

awesome color..in the bottle. I didn't even waste my time with a ton of coats, I didn't have a top coat and thats the only thing that would bring that color to life. very dissapointed, i wrote to the company but the website went down. DAMN

This is an amazing polish. In the bottle it's this fascinating neon fuchsia with a hint of purple. I admit, when I started putting it on, I was disappointed: the first coat was super thin and streaky. It needed three thin coats to be opaque, and it dried to a somewhat uneven matte finish. (To be fair, the dry time for each coat was pretty much instant.) However, once I added a topcoat, WOW! It suddenly becomes the glossy bottle color it was intended to be, and the unevenness disappeared. Another interesting thing: indoors it's a rich, flattering, berry color, but it switches to a glorious neon in the sun. It is one of my favorite nail polishes! It's a beautiful color, all it needs is a little topcoat!
