OK. I had never heard of Lierac products until I went into to CityPharma in Paris two weeks ago. We were taking a vacation in both Paris and Cannes, and before heading to Cannes, I needed to make a sunscreen purchase. Lucky me! Lierac was having a promo of purchasing two products and getting one free! With some advice from the S/A, she sent me heading in the direction of Lierac, explaining that it was excellent for my fair skin. I got the Creme Haute Hydration SPF 50, along with the High Hydration Spray On Aqua-Lotion, which was even better and the After Sun Lotion, which has one of the best scents on earth.
I can vouch for this stuff and honestly say it is fantastic. After spending every morning, three hours a day at the beach in Cannes for one week, I did not get burnt in any way. This is water resistant too. I swam and swam and swam in the Mediterranean and didn't even need to re-apply. As you may be aware, the salt in the Med really dries out your skin and this helped keep my skin nice and soft.
So...now I'm going to say, I'll be using this every summer and will be using it whenever out in the sun. This is a great deal for the money!

Very good.Best sunscreen i have ever used.Gives skin a healthy flash,non greasy,no white residue.Highly recommended.

I love this !. It felt so expensive! so moisturizing and so lush...like a top notch moisturizer from La Prairie or La Mer (although never used them ) lol... Even though I avoid fragance in SS this felt very nourishing.

When first applied 1/4 tea spoon the face is really greasy and shiny but once the SS has sunk in (15 minutes) has disappeared and the face feels very nourished like a rich moisturizer (must be all the oils in th formulation, so if acne prone avoid this)


The finish is literally transparent, with no film, or white cast or shine, simply like you have put nothing on your skin ! amazing !... But I was a bit concerned about the PPD ( around 20) as Summer in Spain is very strong this would not be enough I think, so I switched to La Roche Posay for higher protection and PPD (28)

Having said that I will def use this in Autum or Winter when my skin feel Dry...Love the fragance here even though I try to avoid fragance in a SS. !

If I had to compare the texture of this would be Boots *Soltan* spf 50, is very similar but the fragance and finish are different, this is elegant and nice Boots is very shiny and too greasy for me.
